Swung by Dry Dock while in Aurora and happy we did. Upon arriving, noticed they had a food truck out front and a lot of people enjoying themselves inside. We walked up to the bar and asked for a flight - they informed us they didn't do flights. We ended up just both getting a full pour of beers we wanted and sounded good. The bartender was friendly, seemed a little irritated, but served us promptly. We closed out and had a seat at a little two top table since the place was packed. The beer was ok, I liked that they had a beer classroom with classes you could sign up for. I thought that was really interesting and something I'd never seen before!

Flavor bomb! If you're looking for something different than the main stream, this place is it! If a pina colada had a baby with an IPA .. you'd have a delicious pineapple milkshake IPA!! My second drink was a ginger lime seltzer, also super delicious! This place has tons of seating. The bartender was helpful and friendly. Our table was cleared off periodically (which was a good thing for the five of us!). I've never been to a brewery with as many flavor profiles as Dry Dock.

I've been coming here since the bar was just a fold up table in front of the bathroom, so I gotta say that I miss those days. The beers here are solid and sometimes they have amazing food trucks, but it's lost a lot of its original charm. Seems impersonal and like the servers could give two sh!ts about you. I remember a time when you felt like family here. That's gone.

Drydock brewing makes one of my all-time favorite beers. It's the drydock vanilla Porter. It's A porter, very dark but not as heavy as the most porters with delicious hints of vanilla. Mallory greeted us at the front door and helped us to choose our flight. Emily was working that day and was delightful and Geoff help me by answering questions. This place doesn't serve food but they do allow you to order outside food to bring in or you can bring your own for a picnic. I WOULD go back and I would recommend you going there.

Of course I'm of legal drinking age... Can't you tell by my seriously cute face?!

A-Town Funkfest is what you get when Four of Aurora's best breweries (Dry Dock Brewing Company, Ursula Brewery, Peak to Peak Tap and Brew, and Launch Pad Brewery) get together to showcase their best sours, saisons, and grisettes! Since I love all those funky brews, it's safe to say I'm a fan. I opted to start with a flight to try a little from all the breweries represented. For my flight I chose: Dry Dock Brewing Company's Peach Whiskey Sour, Peak to Peak Tap and Brew's Last Petal Saison and Last Barrel Golden Sour, Launch Pad Brewery's Transit of Venus, Ursula Brewery's Melismatic and Coal Miners Delight. Whoa! I never would've expected the amazing range of flavors these breweries achieved. The Last Petal Saison had a tea like quality to it. The Peach Whiskey Sour reminded me of a peach pie with a whiskey sauce. Melismatic was very fruity. They were all solid choices! After sampling all of those, I opted for a full pour of Dry Dock's - Maurea. Yum! Maurea was full of berry notes and aged in multiple barrels giving it a great depth of flavor. In keeping with the theme of the day, there was a DJ on hand spinning some great funky tunes. Yasss! What's better than a Saturday spent sipping beers on the patio with friends and your pup while listening to the smooth crooning of Al Green? Nothing, that's what. Nothing! Way to knock it out of the park for your Second Annual A-Town Funkfest! Def can't wait to see what future installments bring to the table.

Good beer but this place is basically Chuck-E-Cheese with the number of kids in here with zero parenting.

We were a bit early to check in at 9:00am, so our room was not quite ready. "Ed" our hotel associate at the front desk, recommended a diner close by (see "Rosie's Dinner" review). After breakfast it was still too early so we toured the property. There's an indoor pool and Spa. A Fitness Center, and several conference rooms. One was set up to buy gold. While waiting Wally stopped by and offered us the famous Doubletree cookies. They were still warm and falling apart as we tried to eat them. Finally our room was ready. Since we were part of a group our room was on the group leaders card. There was a minor issue, but Ed was on top of it. He had it resolved in mins. Got the key to our room and we were quite impressed. Spacious King bed room, smartly planned and a good use of space. Great place to come to at the end of the day. When in Aurora, I highly recommend this location. Free parking, restaurant on site, indoor pool, and lots of other amenities. I truly can't say enough about our stay. Stop by and say hello to Ed for me. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

She made the planning of a multi-cultural, dual ceremony (Hindu/Non-Denominational Christian) wedding look easy and I don't know what we would have done without her. To top it off, Lata was very easy to work with and very professional throughout the whole process. She also had many wonderful suggestions on how to spice up the decorations. She did a great job of decorating the mandap to look stunning and modified it to match the style of both ceremonies. In the end, the wedding was exactly how we had envisioned it and we will never forget the hard work that Lata had invested in our special day. Being a destination wedding, we did not get to meet her in person until our 1-month walkthrough. Lata was professional throughout the whole process. She was patient and open to our vision and provided her insights from her past experiences in this field when needed. She was available for us as we had several long phone conversations to determine our theme, discuss details, logistics, etc. She would work around our schedule and make herself available for us during nights and weekends. During the whole process, she worked with us to keep the decoration and her services within our budget. She paid attention to all details for our Sangeet night and wedding ceremony. She got all the colors, floral, and placements exactly how we wanted. She was also prepared to have a Plan B if the weather did not cooperate with our events. She was accommodating and met us at both of our event's venues pre-walkthrough to finalize the decoration. She treated us like a friend and did things outside the job description - for example, she stored few boxes of personal items for us and provided other vendor suggestions for our wedding. As nervous as we were about her understanding our vision-she came through a 110%. She even built us a custom wooden stage for our wedding mandap last minute since the rented stage did not work well. We truly could not have asked for a better, professional decorator than Lata to accomplish our vision. As picky as we were about the exact shade of color of the fabric we wanted for our mandap and the flowers, she was honest & open to telling us what she can do for us. We would highly recommend her-even if you are having a destination wedding! Thank you, Lata! Our wedding would not have been possible without you.
