Accidentally stumbling into Wanderment Brewing turned out to be one of the best detours I've ever made in Colorado. I was headed to another brewery when I-70 traffic forced me off course, and my GPS redirected me through an industrial area. Hidden there was this absolute gem of a nano-brewery. Wanderment specializes in rustic and mixed-culture ales, but also keeps a variety of other styles flowing. When I walked in, I wasn't sure if I was in the right place -- behind the bar stood a Samurai Warrior. Turns out, it was owner and head brewer John Flaherty, suited up and welcoming guests like family. The space itself is dark and desolate in vibe, but incredibly warm and inviting once you settle in. Rock and death metal played softly in the background, and John's hospitality carried the whole room. He took the time to walk us through every beer, explaining his process and sharing stories while we sat for hours having some of the best conversation you'll ever get at a brewery bar. The word samurai comes from saburu ("to serve"), and that's exactly what John embodies -- serving precision, care, and mastery in every pour. His lineup is small (about 9 beers on tap), but every single one shows off balance, smoothness, and deep flavor. If you're a fan of Saisons or big hoppy beers (Double & Triple Dry-Hopped especially), this place is a must-visit. Whether you're local, passing through Denver, or visiting from another state or country, do yourself a favor and stop by. This is truly one of Colorado's hidden craft beer diamonds, and you'll leave wondering why you didn't find it sooner.

Went here on 12/13/25. First time here. Pretty small space but very cozy. Good selection of beers on tap from light to dark. Looks like they package most of their beers and seems to specialty in Saisons. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. The Winter Spiced Dark Lager was fantastic! Will definitely be babk to try more. Cheers!

One of my favorite breweries in Denver, with some of the best beers. I, as usual, loved the smoothie beer- the bucket and a MOP tasted like a beer-mosa, with just a little tartness to add some extra zing. It was just released last weekend and I absolutely had to come in and try it. It lives up to the very high standards that this brewery obviously holds their beers to. My husband has the Flahertys, a dry Irish stout. If you like dark beers, this one will be right up your alley as well. Sam was amazing as always, and we had a great time taking advantage of the game selection. Highly highly recommend. If you like beer, you will like this.

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Nice taproom in an industrial area. They had 9 beers on tap and we tried all 9. A good variety from light to dark and fruity! The Bartender was super nice and told us about the beer styles and the brewery itself. There are several restaurants close by that will deliver food to the brewery. Give them a try!

Great beer and super friendly staff. Love that they have a beer on tap that benefits a senior dog sanctuary.

Great beer! John and his team are super friendly. The place is a little out of the way, but totally worth checking out.

Loved listening to the bands, and exploring the huge space. They have olllllld school pinball game, giant jenga, gigantic cornhole, trash can sized beer pong, and ladder ball (normal size). They also have an original Nintendo with Mario. Seating a little tricky, be careful sitting on the benches, they move in odd ways. But loved the tables and chairs upstairs with the perfect view of the stage! Service was my only complaint- I think the first guy at the bar was having a hard time because they were so busy. I waited at the bar for a while without being acknowledged, then by the time he did finally notice me he just held up a finger. Finally a chick came over and took my order, but it took a while. She was perfectly nice, however, and it wouldn't stop me from returning or recommending them. The helles was a decent German beer with a good depth of flavor- I would come back and try their other beers for sure. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back for other events! Bring back emo night please!

They had a section with some large games like beer, pong and cornhole as well as a separate side that had a stage. The upstairs location had some tables and a ton of plants. You could overlook everything from the upstairs. The night was fun, but the place seemed dead for the most part. Kind of surprising for a nice weekend night. There is also a loud rowdy group that was kind of monopolizing all of the large games so we didn't get a chance to play those. Beer was decent although they do add a 20% charge. Might come back in the summer when the weather gets nicer.

Criminally unknown brewery…read more I feel like rino is very well-known in the Denver metro area. Sadly East five points is not, there's a lot of local politics and debate about it. Welton street has had a very hard time making and keeping a name for itself. Spangalang is one of the staples that is keeping it alive. At the end of the day, I guess it's just another local brewery. But there are some garbage local breweries that are getting more notoriety than this brewery with quite frankly less to their name to e title them to that notoriety. I'm in the main itself. It's a reference to the legacy of the neighborhood. I think the legacy of the neighborhood is its greatest, cultural gift, but sadly the thing that seems to be holding it back also. On the whole, the Denver Metro area doesn't seem to be giving Welton street it's due and there's probably no business on this street. That's a better example of that than Spangalang. They make solid beer. They are integrated in the community. They have a good local parents. If you live in the neighborhood, you owe it to everyone in the neighborhood to patronize this local local establishment and your patronage will be rewarded. If you're not from five points if your loss if you don't bother.

I do wish they had a better cocktail menu to choose from. One of the drinks I thought I might've been interested in wasn't available, so I chose the Electric Slide. It was explained as a blue koolaid seltzer of sorts. I was expecting something sweet and fizzy, it was fizzy and a little on the sweet side but not enough to relate it to koolaid (at least the kind that was made in our kitchen growing up). I also ordered the Cajun mac n cheese with chicken. The chicken was on the drier side, the flavor was pretty good though. The Mac n cheese gave nothing Cajun, it could've used a little bit more seasoning, but their base was very yummy and the cheese wasn't coagulated (big win!). I was not very impressed with the food, the service was good, and it was slow (which was nice it was calm and perfect for a girl catch up sesh). They have their own parking which makes life make sense.
