This place has gotten significantly worse over the years they let crime run rampant in this mall they let it get way too packed to the point people are running into you every 5 steps parents with their kids here seem to act like wild animals half the time the kiosk setups are scams galore and they try to force you to get their cheap knock offs there are some good stores in here but not much anymore and the food court is full of overpriced food that will probably make you sick there is two restaurants there that have good quality for the price and thats sarku and Peppinos pizza. Aurora Mall represents for the culture and deserves 5 stars for being the only mall in Colorado that's actually diverse. You have a few anchoring major department stores but no one goes here for that because that those Macy's, Dillard's, Sears can be found again and again anywhere. What you go to Aurora Mall is little women's fashion stores filled with cute Fashion Nova style items for half the cost, kiosks run by local people selling great, unique local goods, and men's stores that aren't really represented in any other part of the city (shoes, hats, sportswear, etc). It's great that we "minorities" have a place to comfortably shop for ourselves when the rest of the Denver is still lacks diversity. Price points are reasonable, you go here to find a lot to spend a little and it's not crappy items either. I've had clothing and shoes that's lasted years. Growing up in Aurora, you also come here as a social gathering too. People for different neighborhoods kind of just arrive mostly Fridays/Saturdays to see each other too. There's more lounging areas now and hubs to charge your phone. Lighting got much brighter, it's clean, there's chain food restaurants in the food court but also mom and pop local eateries too. A lot of people get the wrong idea about Aurora Mall but it's a great place. Almost feels like a glamorized Fashion District in LA. You can come here for all things you can't or don't want to find in major department stores. Music is always good in the stores, it's just a good time :) read more

It's been so long since I came here, but I decided to check it out while I was in the area. This is such a beautiful mall. It was nice and quiet on a weekday and we got to window shop and browse at leisure. There were a great selection of stores for people of all ages and categories. The one arcade store was a blast to check out and the toy store was visually appealing to explore. I definitely plan on coming back and hanging out again. read more

Easy to get to off the highway, lots of parking, good navigation roads around entire mall area, plenty of shops and good variety of eateries in and around the mall. There is even a Greatland Target nearby, theaters, a light rail station, Aurora public library, police station. There is a lot to recommend about this place. While this Mall is "old school" style and has certainly seen better days, it does have some nice stores. I love there are some chain food joints as well as "mom and pop" type. We stopped by after visiting Downtown Denver Thursday because we weren't ready to go home just yet. There are jewelry carts selling all price point goods, shoe stores, clothing, a few anchors. My favorite Dillards is located here as well as a decent, well stocked Macy's. Oh yes, and a Rocky Moutain Chocolate stans. Gotta love those caramel apples! read more

The mall is clean and respectable. I love going on the weekend, they have parent volunteers and sponsor family nights. That means that you have to be at least 18 or with someone over 21 years. This has cut down on much of the teen activities. The mall has a decent crowd but you are able to walk freely. It has a variety stores to meet your shopping needs. They have great deals and many of the stores are on retail me not to allow for more discounts. read more

Was looking for a Macy's more my style than the one at Park Meadows where we live. Drove out to Town Center on a snowy day and was happy to find all my favorite shops. I have to say that parking is an issue and I see that the employees park as close to the front all day from the beginning. Perhaps parking away from the door if you work there would be best practice at a time that people don have to drive anywhere or park anywhere to shop?? The first time I went to the Aurora Mall my cousin was very hyped up about going here because there was a store he really liked. Chess King was what it was called. Long gone is that retail chain. Like the Dodo Bird. Many years later I decided to go back to the Aurora Mall. Being that I lived on the other side of town, visiting this mall was not something I would routinely do. On my second time back it was your typical mall. Nothing extraordinary about it at all. It did seem to be a fairly large mall to me. I don't think I even bought anything here. I did not realize till later that Aurora has a very high crime rate and my friend that worked in the mall complained about lots of shoplifters and someone that worked with her getting stabbed in the face. Very scary. This is not because Aurora has lots of Hispanics or African Americans as many people might want to pin why these things happen. It is just people making poor choices about their future and resorting to crime or 'poor lifestyle choices'. Nothing more. The average shopper should be relatively safe when shopping in the mall and ignore much of the fear mongering associated with going to the Aurora Mall. Friday, February 1 I entered Aurora Mall to return an item to Fragrance Hut. Background a previous dispute was filed with Fragrance Hut. Through Capital One I was provided with documentation indicating Fragrance Hut would except the return and credit my account. It became obvious after showing the documentation to the Male store clerk, this was not going to happen. When I took out my iPhone to Record the denial of refund that the store promised. Yes! security was promptly called. I am a 60-year-old African-American disabled woman. I pose no threat to anyone never raise my voice never used a curse word and simple he was not going to beg this Martin for refund. My goal was to document the facts. And show that fragrance hut had in fact, refused to refund my 54.04. Town center has never been one of my favorite shopping experiences. I do not patronize this mall in Aurora. Mainly because of past incidents I remember when I moved here 30 years ago. But I lived in HIGHLANDS RANCH at that time and was subject to a totally different shopping experience. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful discriminating and humiliating manner... to be escorted out of the mall by two mall security officers who have no idea what to do. Understanding after reading the documentation I provided from Capital One. Yet. Decided to eject the Black Woman who will not obey. OMG. I am traumatized recalling the way I was treated and manipulated by Fragrance Hut. A vendor that obviously doesn't honor their own policies and have no idea what the upper echelon within their organization has committed to. When you have this deal under $100 from a customer that's desperate. To be clear yes I was eject it from town center mall for trying to return a product. Fragrance Hut you messed with the wrong person and your store needs to be exposed for the counterfeit merchandise you sell, as well as overpriced merchandise that can be purchased for 500% less than what you scam people for. if I could give a zero star I would. Please know that this ordeal for me is not over. I have contacted town center representative Don Massey for a response to their policy. Where in America am I prohibited from videotaping inside of the mall. I would like to know. Fair housing deals with consumer products and complaints. Yes. I will contact. Post. Notify. Past it's glory days, but reinvented, this older mall still has some shopping goodness to offer. There are a few "for lease" signs up and it's rarely crowded, but what is there is respectable and worthwhile. From other reviews, you may have gathered that my two favorite places in the Aurora Mall are Old Navy and the Vans Store. The Macy's is OK, same goes for the Dillards. I rarely find anything I like at JC Penney, but Sears is huge for me from jeans to power tools to electronics to fragrances to housewares to work out clothes - I find Sears seriously useful. The food court is a mall food court, so let's just leave that alone, although there's a Chick-Fil-A (also see my review). I've never had any bad experiences with cavorting teens or hostile senoirs or hit and run perambulators. I also have never been there at night, so I can't speak to how the vibe may or may not change with the setting sun. read more

I've been for portraits at Sears because it was the closest store with a photo studio. Something to be said for a mall that people get stabbed INSIDE of. I hate this place. After working & living in San Antonio for 3 years & coming from Dallas, where there really are malls that aren't exactly safe, this mall is super nice. As I read some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant but skeptical that it was really as bad as they say it is. The mall has it's anchors & a few smaller shops with affordable (yes, they are lower quality, but when you're on a tight budget when even Forever 21 is pricy, these will do!) clothes. I feel like a lot of the comments about it being not safe are more internalized discrimination or racism, blanked with some lame excuse. Hit the JC Penny's and the Dillard's. Was pleased with both department stores. This is a nice mall that I had the chance to visit while in the area. They had an art exhibit on display that was interesting to look at while walking throughout. I have a love hate relationship with this mall. It's a local mall that I have gone to for years and it went through a phase where it got a face lift and a complete renovation, but it still lacks certain qualities of a good mall. There are large department stores here such as Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's, but there are also small, cheap clothing stores that sell low quality clothings as well as random stores that just sell random stuff. I usually go to this mall if I just wanna look around, but if I want to get something in particular, then I head on down to Park Meadows, just because the department stores here don't even have a good portion of items I am looking for. read more

I really don't have a problem with this mall - it's near where I live, convenient - and I feel safe. The reason it gets three stars - it doesn't really have those annoying people in the middle of the aisle trying to get you to pay for things you absolutely don't need. It loses some stars because the selection of stores aren't all that great. Of course there are the anchors (Macy's, JcPenney, etc) but I wish there were more of the smaller stores. I do like the animal store in the corner...and this time I was very tempted to take one of the puppies with me...they sure know how to give the sad eyes (all you pup owners know what I mean!) A local mall that has seen its ups and downs within the last decade. There are still some nifty stores here, like the Dillard's, Macy's, or Express, as well as a well-rounded food court if you're in the mood for a quick snack. However, the smaller stores in the mall have seem to have shifted towards lower quality clothing and accessories. Most of the time it is hard for me to find exactly what I am looking for here and if I do end up finding something, it's typically at one of the main department stores or well-known brand names. Although some great deals exist if you are willing to look! It isn't too crowded, which is a plus if you aren't looking to wait in a long line. The food court is probably the most populated part of the mall, so expect some wait time there around lunch time. Not bad though, if you stop by once and awhile. read more

I used to work at a store called, "Vican Boutique". I'm not sure if the store is still there, since I haven't been in a year or so. However, while I did work there, my manager made me do regular retail stuff, as well as look at the "shoplifter photos" to memorize them (even though a couple, that came in that had been clearly photographed, were allowed in the store and then allowed to leave with no incident.) When I asked the manager about it, he told me to ignore it, and then the next day tried to give some cognac to make up for it. (I'm guessing that, thats what it was for.) Anyways, it was an awful experience working there and plus the lack of a physical respect from the manager, who would cop a feel when he wanted, nothing redeems this store to me. This mall went downhill for many years when it was the Aurora Mall. It appeared to be close to dying like so many other malls. It was not a pleasant place to be as it was dirty and didn't have much appeal. With the name change to Town Center came a renovation. There is now a very nice food court. They have down what they could with an older building to pump a few more years of life out of the mall. It is not on the same level as a Park Meadows or even a Cherry Creek, but it does the job. read more

Extremely underwhelming mall lacking in a variety of stores. They have a few of the regular mall stores (Victoria's secret, journey's, express) as well as a few department stores. There are a couple affordable stores for shoes as well as prom/quinceanera style dresses if that's what you are looking for. I have gone shoe shopping here on occasion and had decent luck. I will say the hours of specific stores often vary from the mall hours or what is posted online so it's a good idea to call ahead if you are going early in the day. Good news is there is usually plenty of parking and you rarely have to wait in line at stores due to lack of visitors. read more

This mall is ghetto and dirty and outdated. Looks like time stopped in the late 80's or a mall you'd see in Napoleon dynamites town. The stores have zero selection and seem to have gotten all the left over unsold merchandise. The layout is all jacked up and the food options are a joke. The Aurora Mall hosts some fun stores - the Disney Store, Old Navy, and NY & Co., but with a security guard operating the front door, I have to say that I would not feel safe shopping at this mall at night on my own. I'm not worried about being approached by someone in the mall, but without protection and with poor lighting outside, I wouldn't want to walk to the car by myself. read more
