Park Pizza is right down the street and I feel terrible I've never left a review before- this place carried me through my pregnancy with my daughter delivery pizza two blocks to me lol the pizza is tasty and reasonably priced- x-large with cheese is $17! It is also located across from Frick Park right by ECS my daughter's school. It is our after school park and pizza and ice cream for the last 8 years and the kids love it! Every first day of school it's our tradition!! And they were so sweet to give Marshmallow our dog water and ice cream treats!!! I highly recommend!!! Solid, very affordable pizza place right next to Frick Park at Forbes & Braddock. They have a countertop window that you can use for retrieving a take-out order, which is very convenient. They also have a few loading zone parking spots right out front. Easy! We got the Park Supreme pizza which was just $17 for a 12-cut. It was pretty loaded with toppings (pepperoni, green pepper, red onion, black olive), which made for a great taste. The pizza was also on the light side, with a thinner crust and not too much cheese. Very good! We also got mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. I love mozzarella sticks but these ones were nothing special. Earlier this evening, my cousin placed a large order, to be delivered to me, as part of a late birthday present. In approximately half an hour, they prepared AND DELIVERED a large pepperoni pizza, a large garden salad, a large whole Italian hoagie and a large whole steak hoagie. My cousin made a special request of them, which they executed with perfection. The pizza was large and cut into slices of uniform size, all the way around. The pepperoni was evenly distributed on top, so there was a piece of pepperoni in almost every bite. The pizza was cooked to perfection, not overly done, but also not under done. The salad was massive, and loaded with all the vegetables you would expect. These were also generously distributed evenly throughout the salad, and there was at least one piece of vegetable, other than lettuce, in every bite. When I saw the Italian hoagie, I asked my cousin if she had ordered it with extra meat. She said that she had not, but it appeared to me as if there was more meat than would generally be expected. With all this food, I still have not yet opened the steak hoagie. I will look forward to doing that tomorrow. In my younger years, I worked in a pizza shop for more than 6 years, so I'm kind of particular when it comes to pizza shop food. All I can say is that this order was made, and delivered to my front door, in top notch fashion. I feel that they went beyond the call of duty to express deliver a fantastic experience for me. I may update my review when I come next time, but I had a nice experience with the breadsticks! I was hungry and super anxious after walking in the area and I decided to try this place out. It's definitely on the smaller side on the inside. I got the breadsticks and they came out really warm, covered with a light layer of garlic oil and parm. I also got some marinara dipping sauce which was a little thinner than normal marinara, more like a standard spaghetti sauce. The highlight of the breadsticks was the fluffiness! They were light and fluffy instead of those really dense ones. I ate the whole box and didn't have a stomach ache! Good first experience. I can't believe I never tried it before. 4 stars for ice cream and service, 3 stars for pizza. Been here many times as it is right down the street from us. We mainly go for ice cream. They have both soft serve and hard scooped ice cream. The soft serve is in vanilla, chocolate and twist. The hard serve has rotating flavors. Last night I got peanut butter yogurt which was vanilla yogurt with hard peanut butter chunks in it. Great pizza... Great place to eat. I worked on the fern hollow bridge rebuild and this is one of my favorite parts of being down here.

I stopped by with CM tonight for some pizza. Despite living nearby, CM had never tried the pizza from here before, so I suggested we try it. I called in our order half an hour before I planned to pick it up, and, to my surprise, they told us it would only take 10 min. to make. So, I told them what time we would pick it up, and they said they'd have it ready for us at that time. We ordered a small bianca pizza ($11), plus a half order of cheesy garlic bread ($1.75). When we came by around when we said we would, our order was ready to go, and still hot. After confirming with us that it was correct and accepting our payment, we headed back to CM's place to dig in. The pizza was quite visually appealing, with plenty of tomato slices and basil leaves. More importantly, it tasted as good as it looked, with a great creamy-cheesy balance between the well-seasoned ricotta sauce and the cheese on top. Despite containing a generous amount of cheese, the pizza was not greasy at all. The crust was on the softer side, and wasn't as crispy as I'd like, but was super filling. The garlic bread had the same creamy-cheesy, well-seasoned topping, plus a garlicky butter sauce. The bread itself was substantial, similar to a hoagie roll, and also very filling. By the time I finished half the pizza and the garlic bread, I felt extremely full, as did CM. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the pizza that we received from here. As others have mentioned, the employees are very friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. We couldn't help but notice the wide variety of ice cream flavors available, as well as the lemon water ice, so we will surely be back to try them out. I recently had the opportunity to visit Park Pizza and Cream at 7600 Forbes Avenue. The pizza shop is located across the street from Frick Park, and more importantly, it sits caddy-corner to one of the busiest intersections in the city of Pittsburgh. I was warmly welcomed by one of the owners, Jim Reddy. As he spoke about his new business, I could tell he was serious about making a quality, delicious pie. A few days prior to this visit, I stopped in for a few slices of plain pepperoni- yes they sell pizza by the slice! My cuts were served within 2 minutes. The slices of pepperoni were crisp and salty- the thin, yeasty crust was flavorful and chewy- just like New York Style pizza. My favorite part of the slice was the cheese- it was rich, stringy, and packed with flavor. Today I returned to try the white, or Bianca pizza with olive oil, crushed garlic, the house cheese blend, ricotta (with some secret spices) fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and garden basil. The non-traditional ricotta mixture proved to be tasty, and added a unique savory texture. Slices of pizza start at $2.00- toppings will run you an additional $.50. Small 12" pies are $8.50- Large 16" $12.00, and the Extra Large 18" pies are $14.00. In addition to delicious pizza, you can pick up a Meatball, Philly Cheesesteak, Hot Sausage, Veggie, Italian, or Chicken Parmesan sandwich- a half 6" is $5.50, and a whole 12" is $9.50. Pizza Park and Cream also offers fresh Garden, Caesar, and Grilled Chicken salads. Jim Reddy, and his partner Brian Shipkovitz get most of their supplies from Sunseri Brothers in the strip. The exceptional cheese blends, and unique sauces proved to be a perfect pairing for the high-quality product they were in search of developing. My wife and I stopped here for some takeout after attending an event nearby. We found this place because they were in the Enjoy Pittsburgh coupon book for a buy one get one free sandwich. The place is fairly small with no parking and very little seating. Their website warns you of this so we came prepared for on street parking and takeout. The small set of tables inside were full of families eating pizza. We placed our order for an Italian and a cheesesteak sandwich and waited inside. I noticed they had daily specials of drink and a couple slices of pizza or a drink and a sandwich for around $6. Great price for a lunch or quick meal! It didn't take long for our sandwiches to be done and we headed home to eat them. They turned out to be a generous size with the ingredients evenly spread across the bread. The food was solid and turned out to be 2 separate meals for my wife and I. This place reminds me of a classic pizza and sandwich shop. They also have Hershey's ice cream and another brand of ice cream for dessert (I'm not a huge Hershey's fan). The price is right and the food is delicious. I would recommend stopping by here either for their specials or for a good tasting sub! Will have to try the pizza next time we are in the area. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Very happy I finally did and can assure you my return will be often. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the staff and made to feel welcomed. The pricing here is great, my total here for the amount of food I got was better than most chains and enough for two meals. I ordered a 10 inch six cut pepperoni pizza with a lemonade for the drink. I picked this because I thought I wouldn't eat at much and I'd have room to try one of their ice cream treats. WRONG! The amount of cheese put on the pizza was more than enough and really filled me up. I didn't even have enough room to get the free refill for my drink. My friend first decided to get half a meatball hoagie, but the staff directed him to get the special, a whole hoagie and drink for less than a buck more. He also got an order of fries. We were informed that they weren't even going to have hoagies when they first opened and just by chance started. Once they caught on, the rest is history. Everything is cooked right after you order. And I mean fresh from the oven. Even the fries go in the oven, no fryer here (healthy fries, yes please). You can tell this place is meant for the warmer months too, with a window to order from on the sidewalk. Only four tables inside for indoor dining. During warmer months I'm sure most people would like an ice cream treat and then go to Frick Park to walk it off. read more

We like to walk down the street to get their (Hershey's) ice cream. They have standard flavors and others that rotate. Portions are generous. I can't sit inside to eat because the place smells like grease, and I wouldn't eat pizza from here, as I'm not sure hygiene is the best. (I once had to ask the server to change his gloves after handling money from a previous customer.) My roommate and I ordered the park supreme pizza and it was delicious! The toppings were very fresh and we split the small pizza between us (3 pieces each) and felt very satisfied. We picked the pizza up and it was ready in 15 minutes. Parking is kind of tricky over there and my roommate came with me so I could drop her off and drive around the block to pick her up. It's an ice cream place and a pizza place. How can you go wrong? They have both scoop and soft serve. I've had booth. They're pretty heavy on servings for both ice cream and the toppings. They've got seating outside to enjoy your ice cream and worst case, you cross the street and sit in the park. The pizza is fantastic. I've only ever ordered whole pizzas to go. The pizza has always been well prepared. I like my pepperoni a little crispy and they deliver. The sauce is a little bit sweeter than most places, but not what I'd call a sweet sauce. read more

Park Pizza & Cream was conveniently located in walking distance from rehearsals I had to attend last year. We ended up here for pizza quite a bit. The pizza tasted good and was reasonably priced. I remember getting a slush puppy once too that was pretty good. Nothing special pizza wise but solid quality! I'm questioning why I never got ice cream here now because it seems that I should have. I failed. The biggest thing was that the workers were SUPER friendly. One night we accidentally walked in about five minutes after closing time. The workers wouldn't take no for an answer and let us put in orders! It was very sweet and considerate of them. read more

My co-diner and I were really excited this summer when we saw that this pizza place was opening up. We finally made it here for food, stopping for pizza at around 8 on a Thursday. The tables were empty, which is concerning because it's hard to imagine how this pizza place will be able to maintain enough business to stay open. It bills itself as being in Regent Square, but it's not exactly IN Regent Square. I'm hoping that the summer will bring diners from Frick Park across the street, because I don't want to lose this great new pizza place. We ordered an XL pizza, which is smaller than we thought it would be but still a nice size. The two of us ate nearly the entire thing for dinner, though. We got the Margherita Pizza and it was delicious, though I wish it had had more basil on it. We only had to wait about ten minutes for our za. My girlfriend and I were really wanting a milkshake last night after we made dinner, but didn't feel like going anywhere far, and I didn't want to go to the store to buy supplies to make it ourselves. I remembered this place, as I pass it every day since it's literally .10 miles from my house. We decided to walk over and were pleasantly surprised with the little shop. It had a number of foods you'd normally see at a pizza shop, but they had a great ice cream selection (probably 20 flavors, plus your standard flavors) and reasonable prices. The milk shake was very good and will go back for their food next time too! I am the world's toughest pizza critic and I give the pizza 4 stars. I honestly liked it very much. Sorry, but when I ordered a cheese steak, wow, this really did not go well. Forget the fact that even though I waited 22 minutes for it, it still had no cheese. There were other issues that I won't bother mentioning because, well, I'd rather not even think about them. We ordered a sausage pizza last weekend. The pizza itself was very good - nice, chewy crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and good cheese. But the sausage portion was so minimal that it was a joke. There was maybe 1/2 cup of sausage spread across a large pizza. The pizza looked NOTHING like the picture on their website. This is my go-to neighborhood pizza and ice cream joint. My boyfriend and I live about a 10 minute walk away, making it SO easy to get a pie to go when we don't feel like cooking. The pizza is always freshly made and the dough is perfectly chewy. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes for them to make a pizza, which is the perfect amount of time to grab some ice cream and people watch while your pie is being made. They're also totally willing to accommodate our cheese-less requests (boyfriend doesn't like cheese, the weirdo) which is always a big plus!
