Must try!!! Drinks are amazing. We tried the "Booze Flight Board" along with several of the signature cocktails. Food: campfire menu is fun and tasty! GET THE TINFOIL TROUT!!! It was amazing and light I don't feel overstuffed. We sat at the bar and the staff were delightful. Sleeper: the mash potatoes OMG. So good. Enjoy!! read more

We walked in on a Wednesday at 5pm and made a reservation 6pm. The host was very kind and when we came back at 6pm we were seated promptly. Our waitress Brooklyn was very attentive and gave us great service! I had both craft cocktails made with Park Rye, prime rib dinner and a side of mac and cheese. Here are the details- Space-really liked it-had an open feeling while being huge Food-prime rib-delicious Mashed potatoes-good Mac and cheese-average-jalapeños were placed on top so one could mix them in or leave them out Cocktails-both delicious-the one that has only one ice cube was awesome and the other one with lemon tastes like punch-delicious and dangerous Service-excellent I would be eager to go back and try some other items on the menu the next time I am back this way. read more

Tbh I went in thinking, "It's just a restaurant in a tourist town. Let's try not to be disappointed with the food." And yeah I was not disappointed. Honestly yeah I wouldn't pay this much in my own neighborhood for the same stuff I got ($17 for wings, $15 or something for pork finger appetizer) but it tasted great!!! And the draft beer that they serve is all local and they're so so fragrant!!! Pork fingers (4/5) The pork fingers itself wasn't super impressive but the mustard dip was really good. Wings (4/5) Spicy!!! I love spicy but some of my family members started sweating. Be careful if you can't handle spice. St. Louise Ribs (4.5/5) Our waiter told us that they smoke this dish for hours and we could tell! We're from Texas and these ribs were honestly better than average places in Tx!!! So soft and pulls apart instantly...yum. Ahi Tuna Salad (4/5) Had some watermelon and grapefruit thrown in there as well which was a good surprise. The fried chickpeas tasted great with the rest of the contents. Probably one of the better salads I've tried at restaurants! read more

When in Banff this is a great choice for dinner. The Park Distilery is a great place to be even if you don't have a cocktail. I did read reviews before making a reservation here and I recommend you do because It was packed when we arrived but our table was ready immediately and we had drinks on our table within minutes. Our server really made the evening with his dry humour and he was fast with every request everything was there right on cue. We started with some blueberry Brie and I had a few pints of an Alberta craft, Naughty Amber Ale that work fabulously with the entire meal. They have a cool option of ordering from a bunch of different mains and sides to create a fabulous dinner, and we put together several plates that we shared. Really it was one of the most fun, interesting and delicious Dinners I've had in a long time. We ordered a 16oz steak, potatoes with gravy, some veggies and a couple other sides and talk about great comfort food!!! We never tried any of the cocktails but we'll be back, so next time, there's always next time lol read more

We loved our dinner at Park! We got in early, around 4:30 because we couldn't make a reservation and didn't want to have a long wait (we were starving from early morning hiking!). They were still serving their lunch menu, but there was no wait for a table, so I'd definitely recommend coming around this time. We ordered the poutine for the table (so good) and I got the brisket sandwich, which was great. I also loved the hiker greens that came with it (instead of the fries) and would recommend that option if you're looking for something lighter. We also had some of their signature cocktails, which were good but pretty pricey. We wanted to try the liquor they make though, so it was a good choice. Overall, great place for dinner but come early to avoid the crowds! read more

I forgot to review and let this sit in my drafts for the last year but I blame the breathtaking beauty of the Banff area for distracting me. Can't say enough good things about the experience we had here. The whiskey was delightful - the cocktails out of this world and the staff was friendly and very eager to share their favorites and suggestions. Brought home a few bottles that were loved and enjoyed dearly. Wonderful place to have have an incredible evening. Should I make it back to the area this will be a must stop place for me. Not touristy in the least and was so easy to feel at home. read more

My wife and our friends loved the food, drinks, servers and atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Appetizers were ok. I recommend The spirits though. Vodka was higher quality than Grey Goose and Cîroc, Gin was higher quality than Bombay and Tanqueray. read more

I really like the beer. The Pilsner is great. Food was ok. Wanted to try the bison burger but they were out. Good atmosphere, nice place to relax and have a meal. read more

Loved it so much we came here twice! We came one night just for drinks and apps and the other for dinner. It's a massive place and great for larger parties without a reservation. The wings were delicious. The bang bang shrimp was good but not what we were expecting. (It's tempura shrimp without the sauce that you dip into bang bang sauce - it was ok) The bacon cheeseburger with "Park sauce" and curly fries was great. There are so many great drinks here. The Sawback which is a vodka version of a spicy marg was amazing, as was the Storm Mountain (gin, peach, honey and basil). The Moraine 75 was fun and changes colors when you add the two parts together. As someone who doesn't like Aperol/Campari, I for some reason ordered the Summer Spritz but was there pleasantly surprised. It was delicious and not bitter at all. read more

A definite solid 4-star place and a must visit for good food and great ambience, drinks, and service. We enjoyed ourselves during a very busy weekend in Banff. Reservation made the night before worked like a charm ad our waiter was attentive and very good. Lived our table upstairs near a large bar and fireplace. We ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken and the Maple glazed salmon. Well we had asked for the salmon to be a bit more cooked. Also, disappointed they don't serve bread to get you started with your drinks while waiting for the main course. Really not sure why they don't do something along those lines for their customers!!!! read more

A yummy dinner out during a recent trip to Banff National Park. We were seated in the upstairs area near the outdoor seating-- we had a table with two wingback chairs which were a bit awkward for dining, would have been ideal if we were just sipping cocktails. We both ordered the rotisserie chicken sandwich which the parmesan truffle fries-- the sandwich was really good but messy and fell apart quickly. The fries themselves were just ok but the truffle dipping sauce was delicious. I had the mountaineer marg which was sweet and yummy. read more

Visited park after hiking about 13 total miles to the local tea house hikes in Banff and we were so so hungry and tired. The hostess was so sweet to us and placed us at a completely baller table with two huge love chairs that butted up to the table. It was such a nice touch to a long day. We started with two craft cocktails-the mule and the hard root beer. Both were very tasty and a decent size for what we paired. We quickly ordered and were both very satisfied. The waitress was able to answer all of our questions with ordering and guided us based on our current craving and portion needs. The seared tuna salad was awesome and had so many different flavors and components that was both filling and very flavorful. Probably one of the best salads I've had and that's saying A LOT. The burger was also fantastic. Cooked super well and had great flavor. Simple but well done which is really all that you can ask with a meal like that. Finally the service was great. Our waitress was super sweet and even was able to get me a bandaid for some blisters I got from hiking that day. Would definitely recommend this place as a treat as it is expensive but worth it! read more

There is absolutely something to be said for a place that pays homage and respect to the land it is built on and the Park Distillery absolutely delivers. Being within the Banff National Park this is a beacon of culinary decadence and great liquor. I recommend the flight to sample as much of this distillery as you can. The gin and rye are my personal favorites. The salmon is literally the best salmon I have ever tasted as is from nearby Alaska and sustainably fished. The details are incredible and if you want to take some liquor home with you absolutely buy in the gift shop on your way out. Each bottle is decorated with printed vistas of Banff that are gorgeous for keepsakes or gifts!! NOTE: you cannot officially mail it outside of Alberta so take what you can carry. read more

Initially checked this place out for just drinks. Walked up on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us right away. Went with the mixed cocktails as they are made with their own liquor. The drinks were so good we decided to head back the next day for brunch. The food was delish, full of flavor, and the restaurant has the perfect view for people watching! Would def come back time and time again! Had a good laugh as they had a sign in their menu stated they were straw free yet I got a straw in both of my glasses. read more

This place was so good we went both nights we were in Banff. I am not a big vegetable based foods person, but decided to try the Vegan Stuffed Mushrooms. These tasty bites were stuffed with Beyond Meat™ seasoned sausage and topped with cashew cheddar cheese. Totally could've fooled me if someone hadn't told me they were vegan, I'd have thought for sure they were filled with pork sausage and topped with real cheddar cheese. We also loved the Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, the Pork Chop and the campfire crockpot Mac & Cheese. Definitely a great place to eat! But perhaps, you're thinking - wait, I thought this was a distillery? You are not mistaken! The drinks were off the hook here. Start your visit off with a flight of their own distilled spirits, including crystal clear Vodka and Gin, vanilla vodka, espresso vodka, chili spiced vodka and whiskey. I followed up with a Vanilla Cosmo topped with a slash of Prosecco and a few damn good Old Fashions, while my husband enjoyed a Manhattan and some delicious sipping whiskey. All in all, a fine drinking and dining experience. Special shout out to our bartenders, Rob, Ben and Derek, who made sure both evenings were top shelf! read more

Park Distillery is probably one of the fancier cooler options in the town of Banff, and offers a good menu, an in house distillery that offers tours and in house made liqour. When we went, it was definitely one of the more popular places where people generally made reservations and there was a bit of a wait. For drinks, I had a cocktail which was good. My friend had a flight of the Distillery's goods, which was a good mix of good liquor and interesting flavors like Maple and Chili. For free, my friend got a salad and me the fried pork fingers. The fingers had combination of texture which I can't say I was a huge fan of. Overall a spot for a nice meal if you're seeking one in town. read more

Located in the heart of Banff downtown, this sweet distillery is probably the spot to hit if you're in town for a quick bite and drink. My friends ordered their flight of liquor, but I was feeling for a beer. For my food I ordered their special of the day; Seafood Chowder. Great texture and perfect amount of thickness. The salmon was like butter while the biscuit along helped with some needed crunch; though I do wish they served more biscuit or even some crackers along with the chowder; I'm not complaining. My friend ordered their West Coast Tuna Salad. I kind of wish I ordered that since it was beautifully plated, and after one bite I was sold. The tuna was perfectly seared while the texture of the overall salad was solid with some crunch and pop. The dressing wasn't overpowering, but just tossed enough not to mask the other ingredients. Finally, the place itself is like a log cabin with a campy feel. We sat at the bar and the service and company was phenomenal; talking to the bartender and visitors from other parts of the world is always a delight! - Enjoy! read more

This place was really underwhelming and very overpriced. I felt passion was lacking by the staff and they just go through the motions as is true in tourist towns. The ambiance lacked energy and it felt very generic like a chain. The burgers were average and definitely not worth their price point. The side salad was actually quite good. The drinks were alright but your paying a premium and better off going elsewhere as a result. There was a wait both nights we popped in (not going the first night) and it seems people like it more than I do. Definitely not worth the wait or the money. read more

This place is actually very cool inside! Super cozy and awesome atmosphere. We sat at the bar as we enjoy talking and getting info on what's the best. The service and the atmosphere was the best part of this place. We ordered 4 cocktails that had the park distillery liquors in them. Honestly we found them way to strong.. and not great. The caesar was terrible. They took it off of our bill. I couldn't poke it down at all. We ended up ordering the mess hall which came out within minutes for the $70 price tag. The chicken and smokies were good. Minus the fact the smokies you had that texture of sitting in a pan for hours until ordered and dried out. Chicken was good. Coleslaw was great! Beans tasted like they were off the shelf and bbq sauce poured on them. Cornbread was embarrassing. You pay $70 for two slices that is maybe a little bigger than eraser and it's toasted which makes it rock hard. Ribs were decent nothing great and the gravy had a film over it already as it arrived. It was all luke warm. Cool place but we wouldn't recommend it. Lots of way better places to eat in banff. read more

Over hyped for me. Found the food here very average and overpriced - well all the restaurants are overpriced, but this way I left particularly unsatisfied. This restaurant is hip, stylish and the servers were great. Ordered the Poutine, Wings and Hamburger helper. Poutine - This was pretty good, but again nothing too mind blowing Wings - passable, but really nothing special. Wouldn't recommend unless you were just craving wings. Hamburger Helper - this was actually quite good, sauce was tasty and generous portion Although it's a pass, I personally wouldn't come back. read more

Walking in, the atmosphere was really cool. I'm a sucker for seeing the distilling pots as part of the decor. We each got one of their homemade Rye whiskies. My wife's maple rye was super good. The sweet from the maple and the spice from the rye made it an easy drinker. My glacial rye was underwhelming. Tasted very young (not much aging) and no real rye spice. The food came extremely quickly. My wife's roasted chicken she couldn't stop raving about during the meal, and days afterward. On the other hand, my ribs were again underwhelming. I make ribs myself, so I know what went wrong, they didn't rest long enough after the main cooking period. So they were still a bit tough and chewy. Overall, we liked it, and the 10% off coupon for their store where you can buy their spirits and pre add cocktails was a nice touch at the end. read more

The food here is good....The Bison Burger is a decent and cooked to tenderness. Unfortunately, our server was very rude and impolite. My group and I felt very out of place due to her attitude and demeanour. Definitely treated other parties with more priority and recognition than others heavily downgraded my experience here. Despite the poor hospitality to our party, I highly recommend getting the second floor seating as a the overlook of the mountains is breathtaking! TL;DR Food and location is worthy of attention but service is hit or miss :( read more

We ordered a flight of spirits and the corn dog bites. The spirits were on point but the corn dog bites were pretty bad. When the dish came out, the corn dog bites were dark brown. I didn't think too much of it because most corn dogs are medium to dark brown. Then... I realized, it's not dark because of the flavor or ingredients, it was over cooked and burnt. When I bit into it, I couldn't taste the sausage, the corn bread or the blueberry ketchup. The sausage was hard so I dipped it in ranch, hoping it would taste better. It didn't. 6 mini burnt corn dogs for $15? Not worth it! It was so unfortunate we wanted to like this place. Great spirits but overpriced over cooked food. Not coming back for the food but definitely for cocktails. read more

This place is fantastic! I love cocktail fights! The gin and vodka they make here are delicious! We had the vodka cocktail flight which included the Martinez, Manhattan, and Negroni. All three cocktails were so good and tasty. I could have had a second cocktail flight of those! Next we had the duo of gin flight board. Alpine gin and barrel aged gin were both terrific. I could have a second flight of those gin pours too! We shared the beetroot hummus with crudites and flatbread, and again Park Distillery knocked it out of the park! The flatbread was amazing, and the hummus fresh and flavorful. Our bartender was really nice, and ambiance kicking. Come here, you won't be sorry. read more

During my recent visit to Banff, everyone was talking about Park Distillery, EVERYBODY! The fellow patrons you'd get talking to at bars and while out and about would gush about this great spot for craft cocktail drinks and tasty bites and even the bartenders and staff at other venues around town who bragged about using their spirits in their cocktails! I visited for a solo lunch and was super impressed with how deceivingly large the space was once inside. They distil their own spirits on-premise and sell them in their very own little tuck shop/liquor store as soon as you walk in. If you're lucky enough you can jump on the tour of the distillery but due to the size of the venue there really isn't room for many people on this, so call ahead and/or get there early! I kicked off my lunch with their version of a Moscow Mule, named Fifi's Mule, fairly standard execution with one difference, they use their very own in-house made ginger beer/syrup to make this. The drink was far milder than I would expect from a MM (I like a strong bite from my gingerbeer) but still cold, crisp and their vodka was very nice! For lunch, I went with the very popular (according to my server) Rotisserie chicken s'wich with a side of chicken and bacon soup. All their meats (chicken included) are cooked over an open flame rotisserie style so it gets a natural smokey taste to it, and a perfect cook every time. The meat was shredded and served on a bun with fixin's and toppings and was easily gone in a few bites - delicious! Big fan, a must have! I was full, I really was, but then my server tempted me with 3 words that on their own I would have trouble avoiding but combined I didn't stand a chance: Bourbon Pecan Tart. Basically, a giant ode to a Canadian Butter tart with pecans in a bourbon sauce topped with a smokey vanilla bean gelato. DAMN.com! Overall, a delcious belt expanding time and one that I look forward to returning for in the future. Eatcrest Out! read more
