I have never had their avocado latte before, but got it 50% sweet, less ice.The avocado added a nice creaminess in it with a subtle hint of avocado that wasn't overpowering for the drink. Would get again. For the eggspresso hanoi, honestly this is what I get almost every time I come here. Always get the 50% sweetness with less ice. Flavors are always the same when I get this drink which is nice.

It was just left at "order confirmed" and I walked in at the time it said it word be ready expecting them to not have started due to the tracker and they pulled from fridge when I arrived. 2.) all 3 drinks tasted watered down. Not sure how early they made these. 3.) lychee fruit tea was flavorless. Absolutely no lychee flavored and taste like sugar when I ordered 0%. Paid a $1 for aloe Vera and was pretty skimpy on it. 4.) coco mango is literally blended coco milk and ice and mango syrup left at the bottom. Just so artificial. 5.) egg coffee was ok, but again watered down. Would not order online again since their tracking bar didn't work or workers chose not to update. The cups/serving was pretty big, so if you care about quantity vs quality- you'll enjoy this place.

The…read morecoffee was well balanced but the citrus chill was my favorite as it had a tart finish that brightened up the fruity notes in the espresso. I need to go back because everything I ordered was iced and I want to try some of the hot drinks. The banana bourbon latte was good, I wish it had maybe a more pronounced banana flavor and that the bourbon came through more. But the oat milk and the coffee were so smooth and luxurious that it made the experience enjoyable. Important note: with Mitsua market and the busy food areas there, this plaza gets incredibly busy! It's not the best parking situation, so know that ahead of time.

Ordered: Dark Iced Chocolate Mocha and Nitro Cold Brew Bathroom: Yes WiFi: Yes This was our second time visiting and while we went into it with high expectations because of how much we enjoyed our visit (2 years ago), we did notice a dip in customer service and beverage quality. The espresso shot used in the iced mocha was not fully dialed to hit that balanced note that we are used to. The cold brew tasted more muddy than the previous time. Overall, the customer service seemed more like us inconveniencing the team, as opposed to being welcomed into the space. We noticed after we ordered our drinks, a line formed, and no one was available to take orders for customers due to behind the counter conversations that seemed more important than serving customers. There were two gentlemen who had been there approximately 10 minutes before us, and went to the pick up station three times to see if their orders were ready (multiple customers got their coffee and tea drinks before them). A quick note on the customer service - as someone who worked in food service for a number of years, I could empathize with teams that deal with high volume of customers. However, what separates good from great customer service is the ability to communicate with your customer when times are busy, as opposed to ignoring them. There are seated areas but fill up quickly, and they do have an outdoor space to hangout as well. If I'm in the plaza area and need a coffee, after this experience, we would debate before going.

I had my glass mason jar with me and was able to use that for my beverage, but I would've loved to buy a glass to support the business, I did buy a glass straw as well because I didn't have one with me today. On top of all of that the Hojicha latte is delicious While you wait you can shop the organic and natural foods grocery shop that's connected, it's a small shop but they have such a wonderful selection of items I was able to pick up a couple of things that I've been meaning to get for reasonable prices! So cute and cozy. The whole place reminds me of your local market that we just don't get a lot in the city anymore! What a great find

The cream top was so addicting, I wish they would keep it for more than just seasonal. We also tried the seasonal pear matcha. Really unique and reminds me of the hot pear juice I would be forced to drink as a kid. The strawberry matcha was really tasty! I enjoyed that the strawberry didn't taste that artificial. All the drinks were the perfect not too sweet. The barista that made our drinks was super sweet. The place is located inside a bigger shop I believe. There are plenty of seats. I want to come back here for drinks and studying! Overall: 4.3/5

My absolute favorite matcha spot in San Jose!! I'm a very…read moretough critic on matcha spots nowadays and don't really frequently come back to many- but Aroma always hits the spot for me!!! I've come back multiple times and all their matcha drinks have been so deliciously perfect for my taste buds! i've also tried their che and its approved by my viet mom & aunties and that's also saying a lot haha! My favorite matchas are the jasmine matcha and banana cream matcha!! I tried their vanilla matcha and pandan matcha as well and those are great options as well. Not many matcha spots have jasmine matcha so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they sold it- I loveee jasmine tea and it's so fragrant and pairs well with the matcha-- so unique and my go-to matcha drink most days I come here! When i'm craving a sweeter matcha, I go for their banana matcha. The banana pudding/cream and biscoff crumble is so yummy and you still taste a lot of the matcha flavor too! Most of the time, cream tops overpower the matcha but this place nails the balance down! Love love love their matcha!! Service can be a bit slow because they use one iPad kiosk for orders and the workers stay in the back behind the curtains to make drinks. Every matcha is hand-whisked per order so they have signs around the store letting us know it might be a wait if busy! I do like the music they play whenever I wait for my drinks. Otherwise I just walk around the plaza until my drink is ready! :)

Really lovely little coffee shop that leans into that industrial warehouse vibe in the best way…read more The coffee was great--I ended up trying both on-tap cold brews on the day we went because I didn't realize that buying a bag of whole bean coffee came with a free coffee drink. With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

Lots of spaces to sit, interactive puzzles, and plenty of things to browse. The service was quick and efficient, and came with a friendly smile. We got two espresso and a cookie. It would've been nice to have a warmed cookie, but it was good nonetheless. The espressos came with bubbles (a must) and had a nice acidity. However, they lose a point for not having cups for here ‍ Espresso served in a to go cup should be illegal. I said what I said.
