Nina saved me! She is the best! I have had Nina alter many…read morethings over the years, but she really showed her excellence, wisdom, compassion, and overall know-how and experience when I brought her my mother of the bride dress to fix - exactly one week before the wedding. The upscale store that sold me the gown had free tailoring, and after four or five tries and my despair that it still didn't fit right and they weren't listening to me, I politely gave up and walked the gown over to Tailor Made. Nina thoughtfully figured out what the issue was and dropped everything to fix it for me, which was pretty complicated and took a few days. She solved what seemed like an impossible problem and what the store seamstress had told me was all "in my head." I will never again have that store tailor anything for me but will instead bring it right over to her. Thank heavens for Nina!!

Tailor Maid deserves to lose your business. I loved this tailor and used them innumerable times,…read morebut I stopped after a little spot of red nail polish was on the front of a brand new dress that Tailor Maid finished altering. An apology and even one free hem would have probably placated me (though a fraction of the cost of the dress. Instead she said she was not responsible. I have never used red nail polish in my life but MOST importantly, if I had dropped off the new dress with red polish, the owner (perhaps the person who pinned the dress), would have flagged it!! She and you potential customers know this to be true. I waited an entire year to post this, thinking the owner Marissa mght contact me. They lost my business. BUT I knew I must encourage others to speak up for people who sometimes do not have the words or time to stand for justice. They are very busy and you MUST take your business to Savannah or any other tailor in the area. Again, Tailor Maid deserves to lose your business.

I asked why so much, and he said he had to make sure it's even. Figured that he knows what to do. After taking the dress home the next day, I noticed the bottom was so uneven. I brought it back to show them and instead of apologizing, they shifted blamed me for not trying it on. First of all if you look at the picture , you can see how uneven the fabric is. Secondly, they are the experts, if they think that they can't cut it evenly without me trying it on, they should have told me, instead of blaming me. Their solution was to cut some more fabric to even it out. The dress is ruined and I don't want it to be even shorter. In my picture, look at the measure tape where one side was an inch. And the other side is longer. Therefore, do not bring your alterations here. My event is this week, and I can do anything about the dress looking like this. I am very upset!

Being a petite girl, most clothes don't fit my frame perfectly, but with Savannah's work, they do. Every piece of clothing I've had tailored by her looked like they were made for me. Moreover, Savannah is honest, professional, and kind. She has saved me so many times by a less than 48 (and some times 24!) hour turn around time for presentations and talks. Her prices has always been fair and she has never, ever over charged me. Unfortunately, today's experience completely changed my opinion of this business. When I came to pick up my clothes, I brought another garment that had a tiny loose thread. I politely asked if they could spare about a foot of matching thread so I could repair it myself. It was such a small favor that would have cost virtually nothing. The gentleman I spoke with refused and repeatedly told me to go buy it somewhere else, even after I explained that I had already looked but couldn't find the exact matching color. What disappointed me wasn't the thread--it was the lack of courtesy and consideration shown to a loyal customer. After almost 10 years of bringing my clothes here, I never expected such an unfriendly response to such a simple request. Great customer service isn't just about cleaning clothes--it's about treating people with kindness and making customers feel valued. A tiny act of goodwill could have left a lasting positive impression. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and unappreciated. After nearly a decade of being a loyal customer, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope this business realizes that customer loyalty is earned not only through the quality of the work, but also through kindness, respect, and genuine customer service.
