UPDATED January 27, 2025 Since there are no 12-step programs for leather motorcycle jackets or custom-painted helmets, I have a problem. I recently purchased yet another motorcycle jacket, this time one that was custom fit. But the maker F'd up on the sleeve length. It was 1.75" too long, so I looked like I was wearing my father's jacket. The issue is the sleeves are zippered and have snaps at the cuffs. So I knew this would be a bitch to change. May told me she could take the sleeve apart from the shoulder, gave me a VERY REASONABLE price and I said no. It's too much work. So I asked if she could remove the sleeve zippers, remove the snaps, and do a simple cuff on the sleeve. The price she quoted me was very reasonable. So I took the jacket to her. This is my third jacket, all leather that she has altered for me. When I returned to her shop, she was still working on it. I asked if I could stay and watch her, and of course, she said yes. As I watched what was involved in my 'simple' fix I thought OMG, I know SO LITTLE about what goes into this. So when she was done, I paid her 140% of what she quoted. She tried to fight me on this and negotiate with me. Nope take the effing money May, OMG you are SO WORTH IT. If a service or product is average I don't return. I'm now a three-timer with May. That says it all.

May did a great job, she is very professional. I'm a small lady, my suits sleeves are always too long, tried other places too, but definitely May is most professional tailor I know so far. Thanx May.

    Before adding laces

May provides great service to my alteration request. I got this dress and the neck line was way too revealing. She helped me find the trim/lace that would go well with dress. And she's also meticulous in tailoring the outlay to fit the body shape better, it's all in the details! I love how the dress turned out and will wear on my vacation! May is very professional, prompt and have a great eye for design!

Very attentive to customer needs. She went to my elderly mother's home to do the fitting. Very skilled work.

Vogue Cleaners does a great job and they keep their word. I came to Luke with several blazer jackets that had been either ruined or improperly cleaned by Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff. There were two blazers where Green and Fresh put NEW stains on my jackets, and you can see they were clearly put there with their ironing press, because the press marks are in the exact same place on both jackets. Those jackets sadly were ruined, but there was a cream white blazer that looked grey and dingey after it was cleaned by Green and Fresh, and Luke told me he might be able to fix it. I had one other grey double breasted blazer that had stains that were NOT removed after Green and Fresh "cleaned" it, and Luke also said he'd work on removing those stains. For the cream white one, he told me if he couldn't fix it, he'd waive the charge. A week later I came to pick up my two blazers and lo and behold, the old stains on the grey double breasted blazer were gone! Imagine that, bringing your blazer to be dry cleaned and the stains actually getting removed. Vogue Cleaners successfully got the job done and removed the stains, when Green and Fresh could not. For the cream white blazer, there was still a subtle greyish tint to it, but honestly Luke made it so much better that it's at least wearable again. Because he wasn't able to get it back to its original state, he kept his word and waived the charge. I will be coming back to this shop because they take their work seriously and treat their customers fairly. I've been going to the same dry cleaners Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff for years and know the family there. As a result even though I frequently noticed subpar results, (e.g. I pay for the dry cleaning but all the original the stains on my items are still there), I just assumed the they had done their best but the stain was "too tough" to remove. I let it go on too long. I even started to question, what's the point of dry cleaning when it either makes the stains worse or my clothes look the same before and after cleaning. The answer is, Green and Fresh don't do the cleaning themselves and don't care if they damage your items. When I talked to the owner's son and asked him how often they replace or check their solvent, he told me he didn't know because he doesn't do the cleaning and brushed me off, even after their dirty solvent had turned my cream white blazer into a greyish white blazer. When I questioned why my blazers looked worse and were damaged from the cleaning process, he gaslighted me and acted as if they had nothing to do with it, like "not my problem." No apology, no offer to waive the cleaning fee or compensate me for the damaged items. It wasn't until I went home, angry and shocked at how I was treated, and then finally came to my senses and went back and demanded the refund because they had not only ruined two jackets but also improperly cleaned the other two, that he gave me the full refund. It was so disappointing, how the entire situation was handled. Fifteen years of trust and repeated business from me-- broken in 15 minutes. Luke, on the other hand, listened to my concerns, empathized with the situation, offered solutions, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I talked to him about the solvent, because he understands the dry cleaning process and manages the machines himself. That's what you need when you go to a dry cleaner. Knowledge, honesty, and a dedication to great customer service. Highly recommend Vogue Cleaners, and especially Luke.

Helping me to save money! However, when I did come to pick up my other dress that I did leave for them to alter, they didn't do much. They stitched 4 stitches per black cup onto my white dress. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that using black cups on white material means it can show easily through the dress. 4 stitches means those stitches can get undone easily, things can get caught underneath, and it can tear far too easily. I paid $45 for shoddy work and didn't feel like getting charged more. I cannot recommend this place because the quality of work is simply too low to justify paying for it. The only good thing about this place: They are responsive over the phone. Parking isn't too hard to find but it is a little hidden so keep that in mind. Edit: still comfortable with this review though appreciate the reminder there was taking in the sides. However, I was not offered a different cup color and the work is still, not great for the cup.

I was amused that this operation is patronized by some Silicon Valley giants such as Ms Sheryl Sandberg-as I've learned reading other testimonials here. Well-if it's good enough for them, it must be good enough for me-albeit on a pay day. Their pricing is-yes, to the untrained eye, a tad pricey-but you get what you pay for. For special items, this is the place to be. I brought a silk dress that needed to be hemmed and the bust adjusted. I regret not remembering the lady who helped me but she was very friendly, gave me her expert recommendation, had a little chat and she sent me away. I did ask for a quote before I left and I felt it was reasonable given the delicate material and significant adjustments. I appreciated having a private room to myself and seamstress. I noticed they had shoes available of varying heights to simulate what it might look like alog with hair clips etc. Theres a platform they have you stand on so they can be at eye level to the hem if needed without crouching too low. These ladies/ folks are the real deal. Pro tip: there is parking available for customers past their shop in case street parking is complicated.
