The first alteration shop I visited immediately tried to discourage me from doing the alteration and suggested I buy new jackets instead. They repeatedly emphasized how difficult it would be to cut the zipper and work with suede. Then I went to Kim's, and the experience was completely different. I was welcomed with a positive, can-do attitude right away. She was confident about the work and even quoted me a lower price than the first shop. One week later, I picked up two perfectly fitted suede zipper jackets. The quality of the work is fantastic. I've already received several compliments on them, and I was especially impressed that the original zippers were preserved. they didn't alter the look of the jackets at all. I brought it back to show them and instead of apologizing, they shifted blamed me for not trying it on. First of all if you look at the picture , you can see how uneven the fabric is. Secondly, they are the experts, if they think that they can't cut it evenly without me trying it on, they should have told me, instead of blaming me. Their solution was to cut some more fabric to even it out. The dress is ruined and I don't want it to be even shorter. In my picture, look at the measure tape where one side was an inch. And the other side is longer. Therefore, do not bring your alterations here. My event is this week, and I can do anything about the dress looking like this. I am very upset!

She took care of it all. She's expensive; however she's far cheaper than getting your clothes made bespoke. I know others who go to her too.
