As a mother of the bride, I needed a dress altered for my daughter's wedding. Ann is that fairy…read moregodmother we all wish we had. She transformed a dress that was not right; one which I was ready to return to the store. With Ann's recommendation and her alterations, my family said they now loved the dress. My husband said it was "elegant". You can see before and after photos. Before: no shoulder straps, a bit bare-chested, dress too long, bust not right. After: dress hemmed, including the lining. With the material cut from the extra long length, Ann made removable shoulder straps. Added bra cups, and took in the chest portion. Thank you, Ann! Lucille

I asked why so much, and he said he had to make sure it's even. Figured that he knows what to do. After taking the dress home the next day, I noticed the bottom was so uneven. I brought it back to show them and instead of apologizing, they shifted blamed me for not trying it on. First of all if you look at the picture , you can see how uneven the fabric is. Secondly, they are the experts, if they think that they can't cut it evenly without me trying it on, they should have told me, instead of blaming me. Their solution was to cut some more fabric to even it out. The dress is ruined and I don't want it to be even shorter. In my picture, look at the measure tape where one side was an inch. And the other side is longer. Therefore, do not bring your alterations here. My event is this week, and I can do anything about the dress looking like this. I am very upset!

Not bad, because patches these days have glue on the back. That would've been hard to sew myself. Because she had a line the day I went, I told her no rush, and gave her 2 weeks to finish my project. Thank goodness I did, because there was a massive wind storm that shut the power down for two days! She needed that time to catch up on her orders. It is true, the shop doesn't open up when the sign says. Get there say 30 minutes after. I spent time walking around JoAnn's Fabric, and was lucky that when I got out, the shop was open. I have been a loyal customer of this dry cleaner for nearly 10 years and have trusted them with my…read moreclothes for many years. Unfortunately, today's experience completely changed my opinion of this business. When I came to pick up my clothes, I brought another garment that had a tiny loose thread. I politely asked if they could spare about a foot of matching thread so I could repair it myself. It was such a small favor that would have cost virtually nothing. The gentleman I spoke with refused and repeatedly told me to go buy it somewhere else, even after I explained that I had already looked but couldn't find the exact matching color. What disappointed me wasn't the thread--it was the lack of courtesy and consideration shown to a loyal customer. After almost 10 years of bringing my clothes here, I never expected such an unfriendly response to such a simple request. Great customer service isn't just about cleaning clothes--it's about treating people with kindness and making customers feel valued. A tiny act of goodwill could have left a lasting positive impression. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and unappreciated. After nearly a decade of being a loyal customer, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope this business realizes that customer loyalty is earned not only through the quality of the work, but also through kindness, respect, and genuine customer service.

I wanted to like this place because a friend recommended them to me my initial reaction was that I…read moredid like them because they had me try on the clothes and showed me how I was wearing one wrong instead of altering so I figured wow! Helping me to save money! However, when I did come to pick up my other dress that I did leave for them to alter, they didn't do much. They stitched 4 stitches per black cup onto my white dress. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that using black cups on white material means it can show easily through the dress. 4 stitches means those stitches can get undone easily, things can get caught underneath, and it can tear far too easily. I paid $45 for shoddy work and didn't feel like getting charged more. I cannot recommend this place because the quality of work is simply too low to justify paying for it. The only good thing about this place: They are responsive over the phone. Parking isn't too hard to find but it is a little hidden so keep that in mind. Edit: still comfortable with this review though appreciate the reminder there was taking in the sides. However, I was not offered a different cup color and the work is still, not great for the cup.
