I have 6 clothes cleaned at the shop, and my husband helped me to get the cleaned clothes back today. When I checked the sweaters at home, the stains are still there and not get cleaned at all!! I came by in September 2021 to get my husband's dress shirt and tie dry cleaned. The last time he wore it was for an event in December 2020 (ah, pre-pandemic gatherings). The collar of his shirt had some sweat stains and the tie had some oil stains from food. I showed the items to Ann and she said it wouldn't be a problem to get out the stains. I believe getting both items dry cleaned was approximately $12. Ann asked me to pay cash upfront, which I was fine with since it wasn't a high amount. Normally I'd prefer to pay after completion of services. I wanted to support local small businesses and was happy to pay with cash instead of credit card. I dropped off the items on a Saturday afternoon and they were ready by the following Wednesday. I think if you were in a hurry, you could probably pay a fee for expedited services. I will likely come back to get other things dry cleaned if needed since this is in a convenient location with fair pricing. read more

I was recommended by a friend from my unit here in Mountain View and I was impressed with the quality of the service I received and the end result of my uniform. Cons: They did a 2 star job on a tie, mainly because they didn't press the tie correctly after cleaning. It looks unpressed in some areas and pressed at the wrong angle in others. Had good experiences with their dry cleaning services. But today's experience totally upsets me... Last week, I picked up some dry cleaned clothes and dropped off a pair of good jeans to be hemmed. I asked Ann to do a raw hem, 1.5 inch. I went to pick up the jeans today and asked to try them on, length was perfect, but the hem was kind crooked... I asked her if she can fix it and she said ok. I thought maybe it's easier to just hem it, so I politely asked if she can hem it, and I'm willing to pay extra for her time. I'm not trying to get a perfect straight line, I just feel like the hem could use more work. She suddenly got mad and told me to do it somewhere else, she said she can't deal with a picky and detailed person like me. I should go to another shop and pay more if I want perfect service...? She also said I was "MEAN" because I gave her a hard time when I picked up my stuff last week. I got really confused, all I can recall was I took the jacket out and asked with my boyfriend to make sure that's the way he want to fix it. He confirmed then we left. I'm sorry if I made it look like I was giving you a hard time but I swear I was not! I didn't say anything mean or complain to you! I just expected a different way to fix it and wanted to confirm with my boyfriend. Ann, I understand things seem small to me can matter to you. That's why I feel sorry if I made you feel bad last time. But today, all I did was trying to communicate with you, ask you nicely. But you just kept blaming me for what I didn't intend to do last time... ALSO, if I asked for something you can't do, you can explain how it should work or give me some other suggestions instead of trying to kick me out, because I'm not familiar with all the techniques! Such a hidden gem for dry cleaning! I came to this place since it's nearby my work and my usual dry cleaners are closed by the time I get home from work. I brought in couple of things that were time-sensitive for an engagement party, but Ann was able to get it done fast! I brought some of my dad's clothes in (shirt, slacks, ties) and some of my own (dress and sweater) on Tuesday afternoon to be done before Friday. She was able to get all of my dad's stuff completely clean and ready to go AND my stuff as well by Thursday! Everything looked freshly pressed and clean, all the stains were gone! Ann is so nice to all of her customers - I was so impressed on my first visit here when she would greet other customers by name as they walked in. They totally saved me tonight - the zipper on my winter coat broke just two days before my flight to Chicago and I was kind of panicking a bit. I came in here, and they fixed it up for me for $9 in just 15 minutes, while I sat on their couch chatting with Ann. I was so impressed with that amazing speed and level of service! I also came here one other time for a standard cleaning of dress shirts, which was simple and easy. While I don't have a personal need to come here very often, any time I do have the need for a cleaner or alteration, I'm not planning on going anywhere else. I have had a number of skirts and, most recently, a cocktail dress altered here. Their attention to detail is impeccable! The dress fit me like a glove at the wedding I attended. I'm honestly writing this review not because of their excellent dry cleaning and alteration services but because of their attention to detail. After altering and dry cleaning my dress, they attached three safety pins to the tag on the inside of my dress. Initially I didn't know what they were for :). Then my cousin needed Bobby pins to hide and secure her bra in place under her dress at the wedding. These Bobby pins would have helped me ensure my dress and strapless bra were secured to a tee. I found Courtesy Cleaners through YELP! and I have to say that their cleaning rates are probably one of the lowest in town! I recently got married and thus, had to look for a place to clean my wedding dress. I was planning to donate my dress, thus, I just needed a place that could clean the dress and didn't care much for the "dress-preservation" service. Since the dress had to be ship to Portland (where the donation place was), I even told them that I didn't need pressing, just cleaning! I took my dress there on a Friday morning and there was a young asian man who took the dress (and gave me a receipt) but he couldn't give me a price for the charge. A woman named Ann, later called me and quoted me $60 for the dress cleaning. WOW, so cheap!! (YAY!!!). She told me it should be ready in a week (she said, came by next Friday, should be done!). I didn't come until 3 days after the promised date and I met Ann in person. She was very very sweet and friendly and she told me that she decided to press my dress and she just finished it that morning. She didn't charge me extra and asked me to just pay her $60 (the quoted price). She said the pressing made the dress a lot nicer...ok, thank you Ann! (but in my head, well, if I would have come by on Friday, I guess, my dress was not ready yet???? a phone call to let me know of the delays would be nice!!) Unfortunately, my dress had a lace corset back and I forgot to ask for the "lace/string" back from them upon picking up my dress (they forgot to return it to me). I called Ann and she said she had to look for it!!! and would call me back. Ann never called me back but I called her the next day and she said she had the lace/string and asked me to pick it up. When I picked up the lace/string, unfortunately, it wasn't the correct lace!! (yeah, I started to get nervous and annoyed, honestly!). Ann told me she would check again with her husband and mentioned that they had two dresses with lace/string, so they might have accidentally gotten swapped. Ann said she would call me!!! and she never did! A few days later, I called to check about the lace/string and Ann said they found it. I went back and picked it up and this time, it was the correct one!!! pheeeewwwwwhh!! Overall, regarding the cleaning, they did a great job! The bottom of my dress had lots of dirts due to dragging it on the floor for photos at the garden/outdoors. In addition, the dress was a floor sample, meaning some people tried it on before and perhaps there were some additional dirts/blemishes (though not very noticeable). When I got the dress back, it was sparkling clean and there was no damage to the dress (my dress was fully beaded on the top with fluffy ruffly organza bottoms), I was very very satisfied with how well the cleaning service was. However, I wish that they would have paid a bit more attention to detail regarding the lace/string as it was certainly an important part of the dress!!!! Courtesy cleaner is locally owned, so I would like to support them as a local business. I will come back for cleaning service but I just have to keep in mind that they may not be best for rush/timely service. read more
