Ron and Mary were very kind and helpful. I've been here twice now. The first time, I used the wash and fold service (well, just the wash, I skipped the fold) and it was $1 per pound. I was in a rush that day, so it was really helpful to drop off my clothes and pick them up about an hour later. The second time, I did my laundry myself and was glad to see they have tap to pay and credit card swipe. Super convenient. The place is very clean, which I appreciated. If I dropped a piece of clothing, I didn't feel gross about picking it up off the floor. The washers come in different sizes and prices, so I was able to do fewer loads. Owner's reply is very misleading. The employee was screaming repeatedly "You touched me!" while I did not. It was very shocking to me the way she acted. ===================== Recently I visited this laundromat and had a shocking experience. Unintentionally I was late to pick up my laundry from washing due to house chores, arriving about 1.5 hours later than expected. My stuff was put away, which I had no complaint, and there were quite a few washers unoccupied when I was searching my laundry. Then a female employee (gray hair, short stature) began yelling at me aggressively before I could say a word. I was given no chance to explain and was immediately threatened. When I tried to leave to avoid further conflict, she continued yelling and threatened to call 911. When I turned back toward the store, she photographed me and my car -- including my license plate -- without my consent, while calling me "bitch." When I asked her to stop, she called 911 and told police I had touched her. I did not touch her. What struck me most: she was screaming and threatening throughout the incident, but when she was speaking with police, I could hear her laughing -- completely calm and cooperative. The contrast was stark and deeply unsettling. Police came, heard both sides separately, and asked me not to return. The owner also showed up. When I described what happened, he told me he didn't believe I could have said nothing to set her off -- essentially dismissing my account on the spot and siding with his employee without looking at any evidence. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I live nearby and I'm concerned about my safety -- she has photos of me and my license plate. Other customers in the area should be aware. When I lived in Mountain View, I used this laundromat to do my own laundry. It was kept very clean and the people who run it are very helpful. And the prices are reasonable. Now that I have moved, I wanted to use a service I could trust. My laundry is picked up and delivered and done by Ron and his wife. I have not used the machines. I went here to wash a machine washable rug but the only machines they have that are large enough for rugs say no rugs on them. I wish there was more clarity that they limit what you are able to wash before you go. Seems clean enough and has free WiFi. You can use change or card with the machines. I dropped off about 17lbs of laundry that included some very stinky poly blend athletic clothes, and they came back unbelievably clean and fresh, no lingering odors at all. fyi- Last wash 9:30pm-We've been patronizing this business for 6 years, although it's the cleanest one in MV, unfortunately the change of hours for last wash leaves us in search of another laundromat gem with later hours that accommodate our scheduling needs. We have one around the corner from us, but have always have chosen this one even after moving from the Rengstorff Area for the last 4 years when we are need of using larger capacity. Just wanted to put this out there so someone doesn't experience the disgruntled cleaning crew when your last wash is exactly at 9:30pm. Please make sure you give yourself 10 more mins before 9:30pm. A middle aged Filipino gentleman that worked there (edited from owner) was gracious enough to have me pay via cashapp and he gave me cash to go ahead with my laundry. Last time I visited was late but today was able to see everything in full swing. The place is well maintained by owner who is working on location. Everything is convenient, clean, and makes it so easy for everyone who comes here seeking to get some laundry done. Good location, lots of parking space, covid-prepared, and the vibe is good. We were in a hurry and needed to wash a bunch of clothes. The wash and fold service was terrific. He patiently listened to our special instructions, including using our own hypoallergenic detergent. We came back the next day and everything was neatly folded. I was worried that some of the clothes would be worn out in an industrial washer, but everything looked fresh. No frayed edges or missing items. To our surprise, the cost was very reasonable. I'd never been here before so I took a quick look around. There were plenty of machines available, and the equipment was clean and in good condition. All the folding tables looked new too. If you're going to be spending time here, you should know the strip mall is nice and feels safe, with plenty of parking. There's a CVS if you want to buy snacks while you wait. I brought everything from my apartment to get cleaned, like everything. The business seems clean, has a lot of washers of different sizes and many dryers. So getting a couple of them was no problem at all. (They also have some top loader washers, but the majority are side loaders.) I like that it's modern and don't need to load a card, you can go straight to using your credit card. You only need quarters for drying! Finally, they have a long table next to the dryers where you can chill and watch the tv or do some work. Oh and they have good wifi! A must when waiting around. read more

Wow, really knowing that you guys owned a couple of laundromats and I only bring my dog inside because your wife said it was OK when she first met my dog I am not here to go back-and-forth and argue. My laundry machine broke so I had to bring my sopping wet clothes into the laundromat to finish up! I came to El Camino Laundromat from a recommendation from my sister. In addition, I didn't find any other local laundromats that took credit cards so this was a win. Came here on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking in the plaza. Parked right in front! When you walk in there's a section of small washers. I was like ok these might be too small so I kept walking and there were more sizes of washers to choose from. I chose the medium one that cost $3.50 for a cycle, and added deluxe to pay $3.75 total. I also noticed they had dispensers for detergent if you don't have any / forget yours which was super nice. Very airy inside; really good temperature. There was definitely good business / a good number of people inside but not too many that I could easily find a machine. The facility is clean, there are great vacation-spot posters on the walls, there are a variety of washer and dryer sizes, its open later than most (maybe all) competitors in the area, there are places to sit, and a few books provided for you to read. This place is generally clean and typically has plenty of machines available. The wifi also works, so those are good things. My one complaint is that I came in late to do laundry and was told it was too late since last load was at 9:30. I was a little confused hearing that and was told there was a sign outside saying so. After I looked around outside, I did see that sign, which would be easy to see if you came in from the north. The attached photos gave me the impression that last load was at 10pm (to be fair, I think I got there a few minutes after 10 but still would have comfortably left before closing time, unless that's also different than the hours I saw out front).
