If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I live in DTLA but drive all the way to Chatsworth to get my nails done here and it is WORTH IT. Gel X Manicure: Rose does my gel x manicure and she is such a pro. The last time she did it my nails stayed completely intact for 6 weeks until I took them off myself - no chips, no cracks, no lifting, nothing. Rose is also very creative and has a great eye. I came in today and told her to do whatever she wanted...She did this gel x ombré French mani today with a lovely almond shape and I absolutely love it. I can't stop looking at it. Gel polish Pedicure: Kathy has been doing my pedicures and she is wonderful too. I'm self conscious about my feet because they are huge, calloused, and bunion-y from having a physically demanding job, but she is so sweet and makes me feel so comfortable. She is very gentle, conscientious, and caring, and now my feet look great! Other stuff: The salon in general is so much fun! Everybody chats with each other, so it's not like most places where you're sitting around & ignoring everyone else. It's a fun place to joke around, catch up, and chat about life. The older lady with short hair is so rude and ignored me and my request the entire time then tried to up charge me after she had already already said 45. My cuticles are flooded with color I have to go back to another place to get it fixed. She didn't want to clean my cuticles I asked multiple times even during the cleaning process. We will keep in our search for a good nail salon, this is Not the one. Our appointments were changed twice and also the technician requested. Mediocre pedicure was done in 15 minutes. Gel manicure art was terrible, bumpy over coated heavy coats and spilling over the nail beds. This is not a relaxing salon, some people were not wearing masks and doesn't have proper ventilation or is covid compliance. Just a lot of middle age women complaining about their day. This is the second time I've tried this nail shop and both times I've been extremely disappointed. Against my better judgement I went to this place today because my regular nail shop was booked and boy am I disappointed again. The $30 gel manicure looks terrible, sloppy and rushed. First the lady started applying a color that I didn't even pick out then when I brought it to her attention she picked up another color without even asking me if it was okay so I told her to just do white polish. Nice and simple right??? NO! This polish looks so sloppy. And on some nails it's not even applied close to my cuticle. Will never be back. read more

Went here with a group to get mani / pedi's. It was OK. My friends gel's didn't last long whatsoever and her nails took the longest to do. You figure if someone is taking their sweet time doing your nails, those suckers are going to last more than a week. NOPE. My other friends nails had too much polish and it smudged after she got home. Mine were actually decent. No gels. Regular polish. But it wasn't a clean job. You know how you think you have a great mani / pedi, you go home and take a good look at them and feel disappointed? It was like that. Nails weren't fully painted. I've been getting dip powder nails for some quite time. Until I found this gem and the owner Rose helped and came to the rescue. I've always wanted to do gel nails but from previous experience I was allergic to gel. Until, Rose said let me try gel on you and keep me updated over the weekend. So I TRUSTED her on the first try and WOW! She was right. Apparently I'm allergic to "non-brand" gels. So for moi I can only do brand names which by all means it's great. On 5/5 I visited here around 2:30PM. It was moderately busy but I was still sat within 2 minutes. I asked for a pedicure, eyebrow and chin wax which I ended up paying $75 for the service. I'll start off with what was good which was the wax. Susan helped me with my wax and she did really good. My eyebrows still have their shape and thickness but look clean. I love them. She did leave just very few chin hairs left but she did let me know they were ingrown so it could have been that they grew out. Still she did very good. Unfortunately I didnt get the name of who did my pedicure but regardless, it was bad. My nails had no consistent shape to them. Some of my nails were shorter than others. Overall it just wasn't a good pedicure for about $35 considering I also got gel polish. Also I take really good care of my foot skin care and the next day I had a small blister on the side of my left toenail and underneath the same toe it's a hard bump. I'm sure it's a fungal infection at this point which is so frustrating considering I'm new the area and went based on the raving reviews on Yelp. I can realistically see myself going back for only wax. Not pedicures or manicures if they can't clean their tools properly. read more
