This review truly pains me to write. I thought I found a new home. Not too busy. Friendly and accommodating for the most part. I started coming here late 2023 after the customer service at my previous salon began to take a nose dive. My first few visits to this salon were wonderful - no complaints. Around March of this year is when things took a turn. I typically get biogel and have so for the past 2-3 years. I called in and James advised I could come in for my biogel manicure. He proceeded to do my manicure, which resulted in me having to come back 2 days in a row due to it chipping - Never complained. Now, we're in April and my nails are perpetually sore. The area underneath my nail looked like I had dug my hands in ground meat and just left it to dry. Plus, it was so tender. Any little thing touching it sent a chill down my spine - still no complaints. May, right before Mother's Day, I go in for a biogel manicure and notice that some of my nail beds are discolored. This is new to me. I have gotten compliments from salon workers on my natural nails, from the shape to the beds, my whole life. I inquire as to what's this discoloration and they ask if I'm on medication. Ummm...no, but I still don't think anything of it. They finish up my nails and I notice the ground meat situation going on. I inquire about that. They tell me it's normal for biogel manicures. Ummm...no. Never experienced this in my life. James proceeds to drill away some of the dead skin and tells me to use a toothbrush to clean it. Ultimately, the tenderness went away but then I had all of this hard, almost calcified gunk under my nails. Once it calcified completely, it would fall off. This caused my nail to be detached from the nail bed. I can literally pour water between my nail and the bed. I went to a new shop and upon removing the biogel was informed that's it's in fact fungus under my nails. My nails have basically fallen off and began to regrow. All in all, be careful of who you allow to do your nails. I've been getting biogel for years, but ONLY since patronizing this shop late last year have my nails looked so ravaged. My nails are literally regrowing from the bottom. I can only hope for the same health they had previously.

I haven't been in awe in someone's technique for a while this was my first time doing bio gel nails and imma say I found my salon I use to drive all the way to bellflower thank god I found this salon. The outcome is amazing I loved my nails anddd I love the price even more! Please do you're nails a favor and come in.
I'm a licensed cosmetologist and have worked as a nail tech with the best products on the market. The Bio Gel application technique at this venue lasted for over 4 weeks with no lifting or chipping-i got my nails done before going on a month long vacay out of the country and was in water everyday. When i came back i was in desperate need of a fill due to natural nail growth , but absolutely no repairs! I was shocked and impressed to say the least! The next month i needed some serious repair work only because of personal stress had picked some of my gel overlay off-but my natural nails underneath weren't even damaged!!! Im so impressed with this product and all of the technicians!

I was curious about this shop because of its name. I've been getting bio gel on my natural nails for a year now. I called ahead to see if they had time for a bio gel fill walk in on a weekday. I was late but they were accommodating. I'm in search for a new nail tech/salon since August because my previous guy is no longer working. The shop was smaller and cozy but the chair was uncomfortable. I sat down and a lady with glasses started working on my nails. I didn't get her name. She was nice but definitely not a good quality job. She kept forgetting to do a nail, a hand, before proceeding to the next step. She was not precise or accurate in filing short almond shaped nails. One of my nails was crooked and I asked her to refile it to make it straight. And two other nail tips were not filed to an almond tip and was left in a straight line from when she filed it off with her electric filer to shorten the length. She would forget to turn on the gel curing light. And I think her light was weak because one hand was still wet when it came out of the curing machine. Her skills for applying the bio gel for my fills was a fail as well. It's uneven, stuck to my cuticles and on one of my thumbs it seeped over and under the side of my nail in a clump. Her initial French tip was a thin "v" on the tips of my nails. I asked her to make them a little thicker and not have it look like a "v." She was accommodating but overall a fail. Then she double coated my French tips and my nails are bubbly looking and uneven. The tips are thicker. You cannot see it in pictures but you can feel it when you run your finger over the nails. And I see streaks of the white on half of my nails from when she was doing the French tips. Her overall job was not good and I would definitely not recommend her or this shop for that matter.
I love this place! Had a stressful day and a mani pedi is just what I needed! Everyone is so kind and attentive here. I wish you my best on your new business! They just opened last Friday! They have a cool gel for your nails called bio gel that lasts 3 weeks! Give it a try! I know
I started coming here about 3 months ago for BioGel manicures. I've also had two pedicures. James (I believe that is the owner's name) is certified to do BioGel. I have love my biogel nails!! I went an entire month without them lifting or chipping at all. I have attached the pictures of my three manicures to show the growth and their skills.
Can't say enough good stuff about this gem in Porter Ranch!!! Always feel special and they do great work!!!
James and everyone there is amazing I have been going to him since the beginning of the year! My friends and mom started going after they saw how long my nails lasted and how much they have grown out! Bio gel is the best they are also always all so sweet! My mom and my friends go to Queen and Kim they are all awesome
The person who did my pedicure was fantastic. The person who did my manicure was pretty rude. She filed my nails down shorter than they ever have been. I wasn't going to leave a review but within the first 6 hours 5 nails are chipped. 5 nails in 6 hours. Absurd. This has never happened before. I'm leaving on a trip so I can't come back in to ask them to fix it.
Tammy is AMAZING!! she pays such great attention to detail and is a perfectionist in the best way. I got gel x done by her and she really did such a great job. Everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming, my new go to nail spot.

I had an appointment and I didn't wait even a minute before being seen (which as you know can be rare at most nail salons). Quinn did my nails and she was so great! She was gentle and did exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend this salon!

So sad really wanted to like this place people raved about James. But my nails were disappointing to say the least I got gel x and the nails were glued not on line with my finger so they're pointing other directions no consistency with any shape of the nails the French tips were also inconsistent some thin some thick. One side the French tip wen lower and on others the French tip ended high up. I don't think it's fair to have the customer correct and complain about these noticeable imperfections wish I wasn't leaving on a plane tonight would of gone else to have them fix it read more
Reducing to 3 stars. Lost two stars because I had an appointment and they said they didn't have anyone to help me for another 15 min. Okay fine so I waited. 40 min later and my nail tech was just starting on someone else. I'm so sad about this because I really liked them. Maybe they just didn't like me and wanted to lose my business :'( read more

Beautiful work! I got acrylic nails recently at another salon and was very disappointed with how they turned out, but James and his crew gave me the EXACT nails I wanted. Acrylic removal was painless and not damaging to my natural nails. It was my first time getting Gel X and I could not be happier. Reasonable price for the gorgeous nails and attention to detail you receive. read more

My fill cost me $65 + tip. That's average in my opinion. The shop is clean and staff were very friendly. Quinn did a fabulous job replicating the inspiration photo I brought in. My appointment took her about an hour and half. I appreciate her attention to detail. read more

Whose the best biogel technician in the world? James! He has been doing my nails for the last 7 years and i would trust no other. I'm the most pickiest client (the type you never want to come back) and trust me when i say there is no one better. From a very clean facility, perfect nails, perfect experience to best customer service. He has DC and OPI colors. He is a certified Biogel technician who is also a perfectionist. read more

Let's just start off by saying I've been living in porter ranch for 7 months now and I have been dying to find a new nail salon who does bio gel! I had a salon in the city but a 45+ minute drive to get my nails done is a mission.. I went in on opening day, they were offering 10% off all services, so I decided to give it a shot and go in blind with no credibility from anyone about this place. Easy peasy setting up an appointment over the phone. The salon itself is so clean, and they have really fancy massage chairs! Everything inside is white so the place is very bright and welcoming. An adorable salon, really. I brought my mom with and we were greeted right away and our services started almost immediately. JAMES is amazing! He really knows his stuff and really listens to the customers requests. He does a fantastic bio gel! WAAAY better than my nail lady in the city whom I've been seeing for over a year now. Anyways, I am very pleased with this new establishment! So glad I took a chance and went in. We will definitely be back and I most definitely recommend. Not to mention they are 10 mins away from home. Love love love this new gem!! read more

Everything here is clean and service is superb. Quality of work is very high and I'm extremely happy with my pink ombré nails for my wedding. I also got a nice pedicure and one of my broken nails was fixed up perfectly. read more

James has been doing my nails for over 2 years now and I have followed him wherever he's gone. He just opened his own salon and of course I followed him here! I love his work and his attention to detail. He does an amazing job every time. The new salon also looks great! It's clean and super bright/open. I've been coming here since October. Everyone here is extremely talented and sweet. I have been trying to find "my" nail salon for quite some time. After my first visit I called this place home. I came in the first time to see if they could fix a nail (not even a manicure they did). James took me right away, fixed it and wasn't going to charge me. That first act of kindness earned them a lifetime client. They have always been super accommodating and not only that but they are REALLY REALLY good at what they do. I highly recommend calling and making an appointment. Although they do take walk ins sometimes, they can get pretty busy (as they should).
