Great experience for my basic pedicure + gel mani. I don't get mani pedis on a regular basis- just for special events and when I do, I prefer to keep it classic, so this salon does it for me! The folks are nice and attentive. The price is more affordable than most and I'm so happy with my service. Paid in cash and ofc please remember to tip generously where you reasonably can, esp in this economy. The interiors are basic but I'm ok with that because I'm here for the service and to be in and out asap--I've got places to go! I got my mani pedi both done in about an hour. On a super hot day it was cool inside and I even had a personal fan setup blowing while I got my nails done. Made a weekday appointment by calling and had no problems. They answer their phone and also called to remind me of my appointment. Check for the days they are open because it's not everyday. Located next to The Syndicate and parking pretty easy. read more

I've been coming here monthly for about a year now. They do not disappoint! I get the gel manicure every time. Lyn is the best and works her magic. I always tell her I want a design or something, I like to have a little something on my nails. Usual places just leave them plain when you get gel. She goes out of her way to make sure I find the exact color I want. Great price! And they are all just so friendly! read more

***DO NOT GO HERE!!!*** Nikki and this place isn't as good as the other reviews make them out to me. I went to Nikki because she was highly recommend. However, she did such a lousy, rushed, AND terrible job on my nails and my sisters. Nikki rushed us when picking colors and was rushing when she was painting our nails. Although we picked the colors, the end product was completely different because she selected what she thought would look good on us. When we tried to say something Nikki either ignored or just said "trust me, you will like it." UHH NO I DID NOT. THE END PRODUCT WAS DISAPPOINTING AND NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. For my sister's glitter nail (ring fingers), my sister picked a more dark shimmer color- but Nikki selected and applied a glitter color that was way too transparent (my sister's nail was showing underneath. If you look closely you can also tell that my two thumbs (pink nail polish) are not even- not to mention, I picked a more milky/white-ish pink but somehow ended up with a pastel/Barbie pink. *DO NOT GO HERE!* the staff is not friendly or welcoming to begin with. Even with an appointment they make you wait 15-20mins. read more

My first visit was great. I had a simple spa pedicure. Lynn was very welcoming, professional, and efficient. I'll be going back.

3.5 stars. I'm new to the area and was dying to get some pampering and get my nails done; after scouring yelp I decided on visiting Exquisit nails and giving them a shot. I called in to make an appointment for a later time on the day, the woman on the phone was pleasant enough, and I told her that it was my first time and I didn't have anyone specific I wanted to make an appointment with. I was seen by David who did my almond-shaped full set. David was very nice, and made some small talk without being too talkative (I work nights and I'm not always in the mood to have a conversation..). During parts of the full set however he did seem rather heavy-handed. As he was buffering my fingers with the square pumice there felt like points where I couldn't take the pain anymore. My nail treatment was relaxing to this point, but the way my nails throbbed after this put a big damper on the whole experience. I will admit that I am a severe nail biter and David didn't have a lot to work with, my acrylics are still holding on strong however. I also received an eyebrow wax from the pregnant lady (sorry, didn't get her name). The wax was quick, painless, and she took the time to fill in my brows with powder after to accentuate the shape. I appreciated the mini-massage as she rubbed in the lotion (longer pleaaaaaaaaaaase..) and I was overall very pleased with my eyebrow shape and her attention to detail (no stray hairs in the middle..) I noticed that a lot of the nail techs had a good rapport with many of the customers who entered during my visit; that was nice. Overall I was happy with my visit here, the prices were fair and the visit didn't take the whole afternoon. I'm not sure if I'm in love with Exquisite nails however and on my next trip for nails I may try another salon in the area... read more

Please ask for Nikki (not Nicki...not sure why some people on Yelp are spelling her name that way lol) But please ask for her! She does an amazing job and she's such a perfectionist! If you don't trust me go check out her Instagram page: nikki818! I made an appointment to go see her to get my brows done (airbrush tattoo) and she definitely made me feel very comfortable because at first, I was really nervous about getting them done. She draws in the shape first according to your face type and she makes sure that you're happy with it. If not, then no problem she can fix that instantly! I also got my nails done from her and it came out so pretty! And she was fast but it was still perfect! You will love her bubbly, funny personality too so you won't be bored just sitting there. =) Go check her out! She only takes appointments because she's THAT GOOD! read more

Exquisite Nails - Pink nails by Nikki :) - Nail Salons Near Me - Reseda, California

I usually don't give bad reviews and i usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but this place first of all did not listen to anything I was saying and second has the worst way of handling nails. I had previous dip nail on my nails, I asked them if they had dip nails, they said some colors. I asked them if they could take off my previous dip nails and I'll use gel keeping my natural length. The guy started to buff my nail out with his tool and randomly when I thought he was done to put on the foil wraps with acetone he gets a nail cuticle and starts ripping off the dip nail polish!!! He even put his nail in between my nail and the dip nail polish to take them off..... Not only was my nail bed damaged and sore but now my nail looked so messed up they would have be trimmed to short. Honestly who handles nails that way??? I take really good care of my nails and because I have four kids I need a nail polish that last as I don't have time to keep redoing my nails every week. Honestly I didn't even let him finish the job, I walked right out and will not be coming back. read more

I'm usually easy to please. I don't get my nails done because I'm an athlete and my job gets messy. I've been trying to grow my nails out and I asked her to keep them long and shape them squared. She rounded the edges and that made them shorter. When she put the color on she didn't ask if I liked it or not (I guess I could have spoke up). The color is okay. The shape isn't nice at all. The paint job is also very poor. I look pretty young, so I think they just didn't take my business seriously. There were also a lot of flies that kept landing on me. The pedicure is a lot better than the manicure. Also she set my socks aside and somehow ruined them with nail polish (not that it's that big of a deal, but she saw it and didn't say or do anything). read more

Good pedicure however I'm not sure I'll be coming back. I literally has to jump through hoops to pay them. They don't accept any form of money other than cash. I had to go to the donut shop and pay 2.25 to take out money and then had to go to the liquor store to get change. Idk. It's 2016. Terrible. I am very un happy what my experience there today. I walked in with my little daughter at 930, and right away there was a sign posted that said CASH ONLY. I did not have cash. It did not say that on yelp, and they did not mention that to me when I called. Secondly, so I left with my daughter for a few hours to run errands, and then called again to make an apt ( I went and got cash) and the lady on the phone said to come in right now. I drove right over, and then walked in and she just looked at me all rudely, didn't even say hi and said to wait a few minutes. 1O minutes later, I kindly walked over and asked how much longer bc my baby was getting very tired, and she was rude and said " another 10 min or you can go" I was very very shocked with how rude she was to me. The place was gross and run down as well. I want to call social services on this place for being so nasty and dirty The lady was young and not attractive who was nasty to me as well. I ended up just leaving. I felt very uncomfortable and that's not a nice way to run a business. ZERO STARS read more

I love this place. They do a great job and these women are the kindest ladies in The Valley. I leave there with great nails and happy.

Lynn is my go to manicurist. She always is so creative with designs and gives me perfectly shaped nails and cutest designs. I'm always getting compliments! I've been to several nails salons all over the valley for last few years. Since relocating to the valley. After years of hunting I've finally found Lynn. I've been coming to her now for a year. She's reasonably priced and always goes all out to make sure my nails look good. She's amazing at nail art. She can do anything you want. If you don't know what to get. She's the best at letting her just surprise you. She always comes up with the cutest designs. Ladies you have to try Lynn! I also get my eyebrows done here by Kathy. Ladies I'm super picky when it comes to my eyebrows. I use to go to Anastasia Brows. One day I was on a rush and let Kathy do them. Since I would see the girls walk out her station with perfect brows. After I let her do them once. I now only let Kathy touch my brows. read more

Not sure why they have 4 stars. Tried them out and the lady that did my gel mani was awful, really sweet but bad cut, bad polish and I'm pretty easy to please, not picky at all but I had to tell her my polish was bad and she left a pointy piece on my nail.. The pedicure was crappy. They used a bucket of water and not the massage chairs they have. No callus removal either.. the pedicure lady wasn't friendly at all. Flies zapped on a uv light.. just a bad rundown place. Prices are cheap.. maybe people prefer quantity over quality. Also one of the nails techs has a really bad attitude, arguing with a customer over appointment time.. very unprofessional. Not worth it at all. read more

Well I was really hoping to get an exquisite nail job done but all I got was mediocre. When you first walk in to this place you will find that it is not well kept. There is a slight 70's feel to it. The selection of nail polishes is pretty sad. They look kind of old and cheap...and if you want to buy a polish you should really take a look at their fine, DUSTY, OLD, left over polishes in the glass display... oh goodness...that should've been my cue to run. The biggest issue I had was with the gel manicure. They have no color palette!!!! When I asked for one they looked at me like I was crazy and said that I had to open EACH and EVERY color until I found one that I liked!!!! What in 'tarnation!?!?! Seriously???? Last, but not least, was the quality of service. I ended up paying 37 dollars for a mess of nails... ..... FAR FROM EXQUISITE.... read more

Simple and straight to the point facts: Pedi price is great $12. Closes pretty early 7PM. The Pedicure work is "good" not spectacular or exceedingly better than any of the other local shops, just good. One pedicurist (Lily) has a terrible attitude, she's mute, and never smiles... always in a bad mood. I've been to her a handful of times and the attitude is consistently the same. *CASH ONLY* Nikki is awesome at shaping eyebrows, she would be the main reason why I'd continue to come to this shop. 3 stars for Nikki, low rating for the Pedicurist (Lily) with the miserable attitude. Horrible experience. You walk in and the shop needs updating. But sometimes these places do the best work. Well not here. What you see is what you get. I got a gel manicure that started peeling off at the cuticle four days later. It took them about 5 minutes to do my manicure. I appreciate them being fast but not if that means my mani peels off before the week is over. I've had non gel manicures last me longer than this gel one. It's such a waste of money. I originally asked for a mani pedi, and after they finished my hands, all the staff worked on other people for forty minutes. I was going to just pay for my mani and get out. All they care about is making a quick buck. Finally someone started doing my pedi, but wait, we had to get interrupted several more times because people kept coming in to get waxed. So it took them thirty minutes I'd say to do my mani pedi, but I was in there for two hours. I'm never coming here again. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year and a half. I always make sure to book an appointment with LYN because she is the only one I'll go to for my medi pedi. Might be sharing too much but, I've always had issues with ingrown toe nails. Ever since I go to Lyn, I don't have that problem any more. Lyn is so sweet and very creative. I've asked her to do certain designs and she delivers. Or most of the time I just let her know what colors I like and she comes up with the designs herself. read more

*************************{ ONE STOP SHOP }********************* I have been going to Exquisite Nails for about 7 years now. When I mean a one stop shop I mean literally a one stop shop to get all your beautified needs. I am a very meticulous person, so normally I get my eyebrows done somewhere else then my full set in another location and so forth which is time consuming and exhausting. Prior to coming to Exquisite nails that's what I would do, drive all over the valley to different locations because I only liked getting things done in certain places. Then I found this little gem. I can get my full set, pedi and eyebrows all in one location. It made life so much better. My husband even comes and gets a mani and pedi and an occasional eyebrow clean up. The staff is family friendly and I am very comfortable. Nikki is one great nail tech and beautician. She normally does my full set and Kathy and Nikki both do my eyebrows and additional wax services. Overall I am very pleased with there services and I can tell you that they do an amazing job. I can't always make an appointment do to my busy schedule but I just make a quick call and they make an effort to squeeze me in as fast as I can. Nikki is always booked so I highly recommend you make you reserve your appointment a few days in advance. They truly Aim to please. read more

So today, I was in a EMERGENCY status for my eyebrows. I usually go to another place on Etiwanda and Vanowen, but they were closed. So I started to look on Yelp and I ran into Exquisite Nails. It looked like it had pretty good reviews on waxing. So I called and asked if I can come in 5 mins, and Nikki said ok. She was very nice and her eyebrows were on fleek too, so that was a first impression. Second, the salon was nice and clean. As she was doing my eyebrows, I normally have a lot of pain due to my sensitive skin when they do the bottom especially, but today I really didn't feel anything and I was extremely happy with that! She gave me a little mini eye brow massage which has never been done to me before and that made me even more happy! But what knocked it out of the park for me was she took her time to fill them in and what an amazing job she did! I even texted my boyfriend about how happy I was with my experience as if he was one of my girlfriends lol! Highly recommend Nikki for eyebrows ! So I normally go to Nail Spa on Saticoy and Tampa, but when I got there (on a Saturday) they were under construction and wouldn't be open until Monday. I looked at Yelp for a near by nail salon and found Esquire Nails- 4 Stars with 205 reviews. I thought it was worth a shot. As soon as I stepped inside this salon, I immediately had a bad feeling. I used to go to this place in Hollywood when I lived there that wasn't the most glamorous salon but they did fantastic manis. I was strapped for time and I didn't have all day to look around for another nail salon. The overall look of the salon: fly strips hanging everywhere on the ceiling, stuffy and no AC. I can't even tell you how many flies I had to swat out of my face while getting my manicure. My nail tech was horrendous. Very sweet woman but I think even Stevie Wonder could've done a better job at doing my nails. First she argued with me about the shape of my nails, I told her round and she said "No, square." We went back and forth at this each time she started to trim my nails. She could not for the life of her cut or file down nails. They were uneven and looked like a 5 year old cut them. They looked awful. So before she started to paint them, I had to step in and ask to FILE DOWN AND BUFF OUT THE NAILS MYSELF!!! It was that bad and I was not going to walk out of there paying for a manicure that looked sloppy. Honestly, my nails looked better walking in. I can be picky about the shape of my nails because I don't like them very long- shorter nails just work better for me and my lifestyle. However- I'm the customer requesting a certain shape of nails- don't argue with me. I felt like the lady who did my nails was a family member of the business who filled in that day just to help out with doing some manicures. She obviously did not have any kind of training and didn't even take the time to try cleaning off any paint left around my cuticles. That was a first for me. I did walk out of there with half decent nails (thankfully because I had to take the reins and correct the shape of my nails). Paint job was average- didn't look terrible but I've had way better quality at other places, from chain salons to family owned salons. I do not recommend this place- at least just as a "walk in" customer with no nail tech recommendation. It seems this place is a hit or miss, but I will not be returning. If you do decide to go there: You might want to wear a bee keeper hat when getting a mani/pedi to keep the flies away from your face and bring your own water (since they do not offer any like most other places do) but also because it feels so damn humid in there- like you're in Florida during the summertime. Heads up- you may end up having to file and buff your nails, hell...maybe even end up doing the whole manicure yourself! Regular Mani was $10 Cash Only read more

I absolutely LOVE the quality of service that I receive from Katie, Lynn and Nikki!!!!! The pricing is great!!!!!! However it's cash only!!!!! Not only are these ladies amazing but they treat me like family.... I've been coming here for 15 years. I am extremely skeptical of who does my eyebrows and only Katie touches them. Also Lynn is absolutely amazing on making sure my pedicure is perfect! Finally Nikki's great style in acrylics is helpful to me as some times I tend to be indecisive. Most recently I did get my nails done from a very young girl (at a different location) who is helping her father financially and physically raise her siblings.
