Don't bother looking up another lash artist or reading another review. Jenny is hands down, by far the most amazing lash technician in the world. Do yourself a favor and book your appointment. Before Jenny, I had gone to about 7 different lash technicians. All the nightmares you read about, I experienced. Significant natural lash damage/loss. Reactions to poor quality glue or lashes being glued directly to the eyelid. Painful fills. The works. I had almost given up on getting lash extensions. It just wasn't worth it anymore. I never got the look I wanted and they never lasted more than a week at a time. It took months for my lashes to grow back after I finally had them removed and they were so weak and brittle, I couldn't even really wear mascara. So I did exactly what you're doing now. Read through hundreds of reviews for hundreds of businesses. Somehow, I landed on Jenny. I was extremely anxious when I went in. I had lash PTSD! Within five minutes into the appointment, I was completely at ease. She is so knowledgeable, its crazy. She was able to explain how lashing works, what causes it to be painful or irritating, how to avoid damaging your natural lashes, etc. My lashes came out wonderfully and I have been a faithful client ever since. That was over 2 years ago now. My natural lashes are still growing, healthy and strong. She always gives me exactly the look I'm going for and gives me tips and tricks for keeping my lashes clean. She's honest and will let you know if your lashes need a break or if you need to start taking biotin. Not to mention, she's a total doll. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty and clean the salon is. The space is modern, and the staff are very friendly. They also offer a nice variety of services, which I appreciated. I went in for short black Gel-X nails. While the nail tech was patient and put in effort, the overall result wasn't what I expected. The shape was a bit uneven and one nail came out crooked despite restoration efforts. What disappointed me the most was that the polish began chipping the same day. I had made an appointment for my Eyelashes. Patricia did my Eyelashes. She was really sweet, but very slow. Took about 3 1/2 hours and my Eyelashes look very empty. Nothing What I expected. I figured it's two hours. It might look very full, but now they looked very minimal, and they fell off within the next two days. I rarely write reviews unless that business has truly made a strong impression on me, and Oomph Beauty definitely hit that mark consistently & on multiple occasions. A couple months back, I asked my younger cousin what she wanted for her birthday & she said she wanted to update her "Beauty Game". So, we called a good amount of Beauty Studios in LA & came across Oomph. When we arrived, the vibe & staff was extremely welcoming & warming the minute we stepped in. I was just my baby cousin's personal uber & bill payer that day, but their staff treated me like a customer & made sure I was comfortable as well. My cousin was scheduled with Jenny to get her lashes done, and once finished she came out with the BIGGEST smile on her face. She told me that she has been to a handful of other studios, but they aren't this good with time, quality of lashes, knowledge, & scheduling. Her exact words were - "Jenny is LEGIT", and that I need to bring her back here (which then I realized my cousin my have tricked me & didn't tell me this a reoccurring thing). On the next appointment I took her to, I made use of my time there & did a pedicure. This is when I was really impressed, because I've had at least 20+ pedicures all over & I am a HAWK on cleanliness, service levels, comfort, and end results. I'll save everyone the pain of seeing a before & after picture of my feet, but take my word when I say Oomph hit the mark. I also tried the Skin Tightening Treatment, and I'll be honest to say I thought it was complete bullshit. However, literally a week ago my no verbal filter mother who typically calls out all my flaws, said my face looks "Brighter". Now, I don't know if my mother needs something for me, but she NEVER gives me compliments (like never ever ever).
