My friend and I wanted to try a new nail salon because our usual place was closed in a Monday. My friend got a pedicure and gel manicure and I got gel x. As I was getting my nails done, I noticed my nail lady working really fast which I don't mind but when it came to painting the design, it ended up backfiring because it came out very messy. The chrome powder was all over the nail and it doesn't look clean. Especially for the price of 120$! I would expect it to look more polished. Also when I was getting my nails done, I saw my friend was filing her own nails because her nail tech didn't shape them properly and was using the wrong drill to prep her nails so it was a painful experience for her as well. After 3 days her nails look like in the picture below. Overall, we paid for the service but we would not go back. read more

However, when I arrived I came with a simple nail design that took over an hour to complete and a week later my acrylics started lifting which I never experienced. I came to try the place, and did not enjoy the experience, this place might have seen better days, it was not as clean as I would expect for a nail place, it did not have a good ventilation so the smell of the chemicals was very strong. The person who work on my nails was very sweet but still fell short on my expectations; for a reason everywhere I go they always hurt my feet when doing the pedicure, this was no exception, and the worst I had to request a band aid because the cut would not stop bleeding and they wouldn't even offer it. There were some other health safe things I did not like, for instance I did not see the tools being removed from a sterilize pouch; needless to say I try the place and did not like it, maybe they are better with the acrylic stuff hence not giving them 0 stars, still giving the benefit of doubt. Price like I consider them average for a regular mani & pedi. Over all I wouldn't recommend the place.....but hey you might have a different opinion! read more

I've been going to We Nails for 5+ years now because they have the best quality nails and this really put it to the test. I've had this set for 3 weeks and I got in a horrible accident, but I walked out with my nails not even chipped. All 10 nails are in shape and still have the best designs. On a daily basis I workout, work with kids, and work with dogs, and never break my nails. She was extremely rough in my hands and kept signaling to me like a dog Instead of speaking to me. I understood her perfectly. She treated me poorly. No customer courtesy whatsoever!! My Godmom/patient recently moved to the area from Sherman Oaks. She was so afraid to try someone new, butI found that We Nails was in the area, close by her NORTHRIDGE neighborhood. I am a regular customer & this Friday was my breaking point. I came in for a Gel x pedicure. I've had issues with the woman who regularly does pedicures as she is VERY rude & doesn't know how to fix or take any criticism. She will berate you, if you give any or are unhappy with your pedicure making you very uncomfortable. I finished my pedicure with a crooked Gel x nail & left in tears because she would not fix it. Within 7 hours of leaving BOTH nails had came off. it was so disappointing and they would only issue half a refund...which is beyond me. Please save your time & find a nail salon that will care about your nails and you as a customer. Don't waste your time or energy at this spot. I am so disappointed and will never be coming back for nails or a pedicure after this terrible experience. read more

TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I saw on IG they had a slot open, so I went ahead and sent a message and we secured a slot. Woman running the IG asked me what length, shape and if I wanted any designs. I sent her a picture for reference. When I arrived to my appointment, I also let my nail tech know the shape, length and design. She took a picture of the picture I had for reference. We were less than halfway done and she said she over booked me. That she had another appointment in less than 10 MINUTES. That she had absolutely no time for the design I wanted which was acrylic flowers. She then proceeded to try and convince me for a different design of her choice, and if I didn't choose another design that I would have to come back another day for her to finish. The drive there was 45 minutes away :((( frustrating part was that she was AWARE that she overbooked but she thought I would go with something simpler instead and that she would have time. SMH. I let her know she should have communicated that with me in the beginning so I had some time to at least search for another design as she was worked on everything else. I want to say I reached out to we nails when Nail salons were able to open for about like a week and let me just say they're usually pretty busy so it was a little hard to schedule some thing initially however it was Right at the beginning of all the Covid chaos! I found one of the nail techs and schedule directly with him and Boy I found my guy and my nail Spot. I am one of those people who usually get my nails done longer. I'm very particular about my shape the texture of my nail And the edges. Oh I am usually always able to find at least five things wrong with my nails. I went to see Aaron and had no idea what I wanted on my nails and just let him do his thing and let me tell you this guy is no joke. Aaron is literally the best Nail Tech I've ever come across and mind you I just moved here from Vegas. I've always gotten a pedicure every time I get my nails done. Are usually have really bad ingrown toenails and rough heels because of the high heels that I wear at work but yes the ladies that do my pedicure always have my feet super soft. I live in Moorpark out by Simi Valley and make the trip to Northridge because it is so worth it. Everyone there is really nice and super helpful. Got a chance to meet Bryan and he was super super nice and funny as well. Even the receptionist was super sweet the moment I walked in. Long over due review. This shop is great if you don't mind not being able to call and make an appointment. Well, they don't take walk-ins either so be prepared to send a text only(no calls) to a google voice number and hope that you get a reply. I started going to Bryan (owner) when they were located on Parthenia. They actually had a real shop phone back then and made appointments. Since the shop has moved to Lindley Ave. they never got a shop phone line. Which would be ok if you could actually get a timely response when wanting to make an appointment. But texting and not getting a response for days or not at all??? This is one of the reasons I left after months of dealing with the lack of organization and lack of respect for my time. I always had to wait at least 10 min past my appointment time also. We all have our lives too and our time is also valuable. Not even valued or respected here. Bryan does amazing work, has many clients and followers from IG. If you like long and unique designs, he is the master. Prices are very reasonable also. Aaron, Chloe, and Tuan do great nails too. Tuan left the shop though. The quality of work is not the issue here. If you don't mind chasing them down making endless texts with little or no response then it's all good. I really hate writing bad reviews but this is deserving of just that. I asked and showed my nail lady what I wanted and she didn't listen at all. Instead gave me what she wanted to do and pushed back when I told her this wasn't what I asked for. I ended leaving unhappy, called to complain, they offered to fix them but didn't do that either. This was my first time here, first time getting acrylic in over 10 years and it was a terrible experience. I'm a cosmetologist so I know a thing or two about service. I went here with my mom for a foot spa. The place was kind of dirty, the chairs were super old and the massage feature didn't work. The lady who did my nails was nice but very fast. Her work wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best either. Mine started chipping off the next day and I didn't really do much. I chose this place because I saw the amazing nail art they did and assumed that all there other services was going to be good. When my mom got her nails done, it was poorly done. The woman that did her nails was yet again kind but also did it very fast. When the lady that did my nails finished, she just sat next to me and went on her phone on TikTok.... It was just very unprofessional to me tbh. Unfortunately that was on me to assume that the place was nice just because they do great acrylic art. I don't doubt that their acrylic nails are nice but there other services like there spas definitely lack. read more

I went to another salon & absolutely hated how they left my nails. I needed a fill & I called We Nails asking it they thought there was a way to fix them, & if not then if there was a way to take them off & just completely redo them. The girl on the phone told me text her a picture & she said they could be fixed with a fill & reshape. I went in & filled out a COVID waiver, waited for the station to be sanitized, & was told to wash my hands. Everyone is wearing masks, the stations have glass between them & also between you & the nail tech. Van SAVED my nails. The last salon I went to I told the girl I wanted coffin, & she left them super thick & they were basically square. Van took so much time reshaping them, being super careful & making sure they were all even. Even when she was painting them she made sure the layers were even & that there wasnt any polish building up on the edges. They are PERFECT. She left them exactly how I wanted- really thin & super sharp & I couldn't be happier. I will absolutely be coming back to her. I wanted to give a better review. The staff is very nice. However, do NOT go here for a manicure, it is literally a polish, no hand soak in water cleaning or removal of cuticles, definitely not a manicure. We just returned from the Burbank Airport from receiving my best friends boyfriend from Las Vegas. First thing that came to our mind was of course we should all go get Manny Petty's. We nails was the first place that popped in our head. Known for doing 3-D printing. I heard the most prettiest girls talking about it in the mall the other day I added it to my Yelp bookmark. Brought it up to my best friend and she said that's where I get my nails done ! Great minds think a like! Called in an appointment for three people and I said no problem we can see you in 20 minutes. It's like all the stars align just perfectly for us we walked in we all got seated at the same time and we were all almost done at the same time. Let me tell you about my favorite things about this place. A pet peeve of mine is listening to commercials on the radio on TV anywhere I can't stand them. I hate when I walk into a nail place and they're watching TV with commercials I just want to die. Not in this place! They were playing videos. Of all my favorite artist! Then I realized that we were on the Justin Bieber channel. I don't care how old I am I am such a believer! I love Justin Bieber. I can't believe how many videos of his I really haven't seen . Everybody at we nails seemed all very hip. There was even an old lady there who's vibe was very much on point too . I got blessed with the lovely Anna. Turns out it was her first day. I got a little bit of a backstory Story she just came from Washington . Been doing nails for two years . It was literally her first day.
