Amy did this gel manicure on friday 11/20 and today 11/23 all of the color started to remove itself. Amy was in such a rush that didnt even try to finish her job properly !!! it didnt even lasted full 3 days!!! I wont recommend anyone this place at all Im so disappointed that I wasted my time and money read more

Honestly soooooo happy. My nails were raggedy! Amy and MY brought me back to life. Sad I didn't have before pictures. They were so nice they took me in last min! MY cleaned up my toes sooo damn good! That's the main thing for me is cleaning and taking the extra skin off my nails and they took their time with that. Loved it! Very professional and super nice and clean! Takes COVID protocol which is great. I'm very simple when it comes to my nails but the cleaning is everything. Will be going to them from now on. read more

I've been trying out a few salons in my area. Most have left me disappointed because the gel would chip or my nails would break. My friend recommended me this place because she got a great price for a full set gel. I arrived with 2 broken nails and gel chipped off after 9 days since my last nail appointment. Amy was very helpful, sweet and listened to my concerns. I wanted a full set acrylics because my nails weren't strong. She recommended I do the powder so I can keep my natural nails. Amy is amazing! It was a lot of work, but I loved my nails after my appointment. She was able to do the design I asked for and I have had them for 15 days without any chips or issues. Thanks Amy! After being a loyal customer for almost two years, I can't honestly say I WILL NEVER BE BACK. I was ten minutes late to my appointment for a fill and pedicure, when I made the appointment told someone would do my pedicure first and Tammy would do my fill after my pedicure... when I walked in ten minutes late they told me I missed my chance and they could not see me at all. I asked if I could just get my fill as I understood if my pedicure lady was no longer available but my fill was not supposed to be until later anyways... Tammy told me to go to another salon because I was late and she would not take me. SO RUDE. I would expect that after being such a loyal customer they would at least try to work with me to make another appointment but no, they pushed me out the door and told me to take my business elsewhere so that's exactly what I did. So for the people who look below to the lady that just wrote 1star I was in this establishment getting my nails done. She is so falsely wrong about new style nails!!! There is no walk ins welcome due to Covid restrictions from the cosmetology bored! So it's appointments only. The owner Amy from my experience has always been very nice and helpful. I get that sometimes we want something now but this Covid stuff is more important!! I'm a repeat customer here and always treated nice! read more

Please DON'T come to this nail salon. I got a gel manicure less than a week ago and my nails are already chipping, scratched, and look horrible. The lady was also very rude to me and especially to a customer that had walked in. She finished my manicure in 30 minutes and extremely rushed since she had another customer. It was a very poor job and I'm disappointed in it. read more

This review is only based on one visit. I have had horrible experiences with gel manicures/pedicures, which is a blessing in disguise because it led me to start doing my own gel nails, saving me a lot of money. However, being 35 weeks pregnant and not able to reach my toes, I decided to say a prayer and get a gel pedicure for an upcoming wedding. Tina did suuuch an amazing job, I couldn't be happier with the results. Partially through my pedicure, she had another customer to attend to, and then came back. I was a little worried because I thought she would do s rush job, but she really took her time and made sure I was satisfied with the color choices that she recommended. I can't vouch for any of the other manicurists, but Tina was amazing!! read more

I was referred here by my cousin & decided to do a walk in. Amy greeted me did my gel acrylics & gel pedicure. She was nothing short of amazing! She's extremely detail oriented, took her time, was professional, and very sweet. I am particular when it comes to my nails and was very pleased with the finished product. Not to mention I didn't realize it was Chinese New Year and they closed early and she stayed open even later just to do my nails which I really appreciated. Yesterday, 1 day later one of my nails broke, I didn't even feel it, it just fell off. I went back this morning to get it fixed right away. It came out a bit crooked. Compared to the original set. Sooo after being snubbed by that other horrible nail place I decided to come here I was in need of a manicure bad since I was going to a wedding. Anyhow called them up said I need a manicure they took me in right away. I just sat there and just had them do my manicure, no conversation no nothing, just asked me to pick my color. Either way the place was okay, I wasn't asking for a full on conversation or anything but at least how are you or something. Pretty much just chirped crickets the whole time, I would have expected some conversation especially from the owner Lisa and being that it was my first time. Anyways overall manicure looked nice but the nail polish SMELLS really bad, even after it was all dry I still smelled it when I got home, yuck. Decent prices, would I go back..Maybe... This certainly isn't my favorite place to get my nails done, but it's a close second when my regular place is closed or I'm in this area as opposed to close to home. It's also about $10 more expensive than my regular place. The reason it's not my favorite is that I oftentimes feel rushed here, the staff aren't very friendly and don't make much conversation (and yes, I understand the language barrier could be why, but s smile and hello go a long way). I always feel like a part of good costumer service is making a person feel welcome and comfortable at your establishment. Beyond that, their swift nail jobs might not be worth it if you're a a stickler for attention to detail. Let's just say they don't always paint in the lines. Happy manis and pedis! read more

I personally love this place. I come here almost every weekend. Although the prices are a little high they do a wonderful job. I love the nail art they do and it's always worth it. I tried going to several different places after going here to see if there was any better places and each time I wasn't as satisfied as I was going to New Style Nails. It is a little upsetting that they talk in a different language around me and the other customers but I worry more about my nails. I definitely recommend them. read more

One of the best nail salons out there. I could never get my nails done before because they would always fall off after a few days, I've been to countless of nail salons and I've always had the same problem until I went here. I've found my new nail place!! The shop is nice and clean as well. They have a water dispenser and complimentary coffee. They have a ton of regular and gel polish to choose from. Came here because I saw recommendations on yelp for Amy and she definitely did not disappoint. I wanted to get a full set in coffin style and they came out absolutely perfect. She is very detailed in her work and makes sure that it's perfect! She also makes the nails look natural and thin. She honestly the best nail tech that I've found in the valley. I came in with no appointment and was seen right away...I was a little skeptic when I got there only because they may have been having a slow morning and it's not the most warmest welcome. I came in for a pedicure (8 1/2 months pregnant can't reach my toes anymore) and was seen by My. She was so attentive to her work. Quiet but I loved the way she did her work nonetheless. As for my nails I had a set that was just terrible elsewhere and had Amy give me a new set. She was wonderful as well. She was detailed to her work (got coffin shaped gel set) and I paid less than where I got my previous set and pedicure even with a tip! DO NOT COME HERE!! I Think Amy or Tammy helped me cause I came here thanks to yelp and the reviews but This place fucked up my skin/nails! I called to complain and they literally hung up on me, it's been 1week 3 days and I paid $70 for a full set/mani w/gel and she gave me a good looking set but today my skins literally falling apart! I moisturize religiously so it's not dry skin or the constant washing of my hands due to corona prevention! Since the day after my fingers have been itchy and bumpy, I thought it was from the dryer they put me under but no, my cuticle and nails are peeling and falling off, underneath my acrylic nail my finger tip skin?? Not sure what to call it but it's separating from my nail, lifting off and falling off it hurts. I've started going here since December 2016...I started going to Amy and she does a great job. Make sure you call ahead of time to make an appointment with her cause she does get pretty busy...I can go weeks with my nails and they don't lift at all. These are my most recent nails at the moment, I got so many compliments on them and to this day they still haven't lifted. read more

yay! finally found a new nail salon in the valley thats actually good! TINA did my gel mani and she SNAPPED! my nails have literally never been this perfect. will definitely be back! it was $35 for the gel set (the glitter is considered a design so its an additional $10 on top of the $25 gel mani fee) and gel removal! super affordable and i don't think my nails have ever looked better! read more

Somewhere along the way, there was a miscommunication and I ended up receiving a Brazilian instead. I want to be clear that Jazlyn herself was very attentive, kind, and reassuring throughout my appointment. I understand that miscommunications happen, and I did not blame her for the situation. My frustration was with how the front desk attendant, Zoe, handled it. I was told I had to pay the Brazilian price even though I had booked and communicated that I wanted a Bikini Full. When I questioned this, Zoe brought Jazlyn to the front to discuss what happened in front of several other customers. Given the personal nature of the service, this made me extremely uncomfortable and felt unnecessary. I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of the booking/miscommunication issue and a private, professional attempt to resolve it. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated over how the situation was handled. I hope management uses this as an opportunity to provide additional training on customer service, discretion, and de-escalation.

After my visit, I developed an issue on my right toe, which is completely unacceptable and honestly alarming. From what I observed during my appointment, hygiene practices were not being followed properly. I personally saw tools being reused on multiple clients without being properly sanitized, despite the fact that they clearly have sanitation machines available. That alone is a serious violation and puts customers at risk. When I brought this issue up, the man at the front with the thick eyebrows did absolutely nothing to help. There was no concern, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering the severity of what happened. Because of this, I will be reporting this salon to the Board of Cosmetology. No one should have to worry about infections or unsafe practices when getting something as routine as a nail service. Please be careful if you are considering coming here. Your health and safety should always come first, and based on my experience, this place does not meet those standards.

Unfortunately, my experience today was very different. The nail technician who did my nails seemed rushed, aggressive, and dismissive. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted my nails done because he kept trying to do them his own way instead of listening to what I was asking for. There was also a moment where I thought three coats of polish had been applied, but when I asked about it, I was told only two coats were done and was told I could "look at the cameras" if I wanted to verify it, which felt unnecessary and rude. Overall, my nails turned out okay in the end, but only because I had to repeatedly speak up and guide the process myself. The biggest issue wasn't the final result, it was the attitude and overall experience. Getting your nails done is supposed to feel relaxing, and unfortunately today it was stressful instead.

John and Tracy are husband and wife. When I tell you that they are both beyond creative and talented, it doesn't begin to describe the level that they are on. They are good enough to complete in those fancy nail art design competitions. They use the best products out there and because of that, my acrylics last a month most of the time with no lifting or breakage whatsoever. They are two of the kindest people to ever work in customer service. They treat their clients like royalty and because of that, they've developed a clientele list that will last and stand the test of time. It is beautiful and exceptionally clean and hygienic in there. This level of care and professionalism is very hard to come by. Please check them out. I will add a picture, but keep in mind I'm not the most fancy....
