This was no accidental cut, this was solid proof of not knowing technique because the nail tech was unlicensed, unprofessional and most importantly she possessed no experience what so ever. The owner takes no accountability for his staff. I asked if the tech was licensed, he avoided the question, wouldn't give the tech's name and will also take no responsibility. *Be warned about this nail salon, the services they provide, the technicians, customer service. This review starts with the conclusion then breaks it down.* -My pertinent background: I've been getting my nails done and also doing my own nails (from painting to extensions) for over 20 years. I am not one who complains about services easily/comfortably/frequently. I generally will just make a mental note to self and not go back to places if I have a bad experience. It takes a significantly bad experience for me to leave a bad Yelp review and request a refund for services already provided. -Conclusion: It seems the priority is placed on booking as many people as they can, trying to get them in and out, and favor revenue/money over quality service and customer experience. They overpromise and underdeliver. Their product doesn't match the brand they want to be. Feels like you're getting a fast food drive through experience/service (like McDonalds) and being charged for a proper sit down restaurant (like Mastro's). Obviously will never go back to this place and would like to warn other customers regarding what they may experience here. Read the reviews (especially bad ones) to manage your expectations and determine if you actually want to spend your money here. -Making an appointment: they tried to get a deposit when making an appt via text for gel x extension in Aug 2022. The way we're going about it seemed shady. It was my first time at this salon and maybe that's normal for them. Not a dealbreaker. Some places may do this to balance lost revenue with cancellations or no shows. -During the appt: the woman nail technician seemed INEXPERIENCED with gel x extensions. She seemed confused and like she was trying to remember how to remove the set I had on and how to put on the new set. She told me to dunk my nails in a bowl of acetone despite me telling her I had a cut on one of my fingers a couple times (she literally laughed and said, "IT WILL ONLY HURT A LITTLE"). From her putting acetone on my cut twice, using the e-file in high speed and using excessive pressure on my nail bed (to the point of it BURNING), putting excessive amount of extend gel (aka the glue) on my nails which caused burning sensations multiple times under the lamp, the whole process was PAINFUL from beginning to end. I told her a number of times that it HURT and vocalized (in case there was a language barrier) and she kept going. You should note that I have a higher than normal pain tolerance. There were a few times that when I felt a sharp pain, my hands instinctively pulled away and I let out an "ouch!" that got neighboring nail techs and customers to look our way (despite me trying to make my pain seem less obvious). She also lacked attention to detail. The only thing she was good at was the polish portion where she paints the nails. If she is going to continuing providing the service of gel x extension, she clearly needs further training and more experience before working with actual customers and hurting them. Otherwise, she needs to stick with painting nails. The owner needs to reassess the types of services being offered to clients and the employees who are offering those services (whether they have appropriate training, experience, expertise, etc). The fact that my nail technician provided me with this service is a SCAM. -Customer service: the WORST experience from any nail salon or other service industry in my experience. They gaslit me, saying no one noticed my painful experience, offered a full refund only if I came back in for them to remove the nail set (which I obviously declined as I was not about to have anyone touch my super sensitive and painful nails after the painful removal that just occurred), manager said he (or she) will tell the owner to give full refund, proceeded to give me partial refund saying that's the best they can do, then stopped responding to me altogether. They also refused to provide me with the names of the owner, my nail technician, and the manager (or another employee) with whom I texted multiple times. -Aftermath: my nail beds were very thin, sensitive, and painful until fully grown out. I allowed the gel x extension to grow out and carefully removed the remainder myself at home. I have yet to hear back from them and have not received the remainder of my refund. read more

I could list several things wrong... where do I start? First - I made an appointment and requested a specific technician (conf of appointment is in writing). When I arrived, they were not expecting me at all and let me know they double-booked and I would have to wait to be seen. I waited half an hour for my appointment. Second - if you dont mind your 'coffin' shaped nails being shaped like mine (see attached pic) then go for it. In my opinion, it looked like only half of the nail was coffin shaped. I'm not going to post 10 photos but this is what most of my fingers looked like. When I mentioned something to him, he brushed it off saying it'd be fixed. Obviously, it never got fixed. Third - I showed the tech a photo of exactly what I wanted (a basic natural to white ombre) and he took it upon himself to use glitter in the natural tone acrylic powder. I didnt notice until he was adding it to the last finger on the 1st hand and when I said that's not what I wanted, he said it was too late for anything to be done. I'd recommend you pay attention while they do your nails if you go. I, however, thought this was the most basic request/design and therefore goof proof... unfortunately, this was not the case. Fourth - in addition to a full set. I got the most painful pedicure of my life. I believe the young man who did it was an apprentice still learning? Not sure, nor do I care, I just know it was not a pleasant experience as he was very rough with the tools. Fifth - about 5-6 days after I left the salon, my nails lifted near the cuticles. Before I came to the salon, I had read the many reviews noting the same thing and expressed my concern to the friend who recommended me and she assured me it wouldn't happen (although she had a broken nail herself.. which I ignored) so I decided to continue with my appointment. They have page on instagram and believe me on instagram whatever u see it's totally different, i followed them and wanted to go there so badly. So finally i made appt with my sister( i insist her to go to new place) i told them that i m so excited to come there. We went there , when we open the main door the room had rubbing alcohol smell all over the place, they gave us 2 forms to fill, and said sensitize your hands and we did it i thought they r clean. So finally my sister and i sat and put our feet in the water . For me a old lady came to do my padicure. She use the same tool that she use on her customer before me, i thought maybe she clean it i ignored it. She didn't even clean her hands after finish with her customer before me. She was so busy to know the election result, she talk talk talk and every 5 min call someone and then she poke my toe and she did it two three times then i said plz don't do it , it hurts she stoped then when it came to put nail polish , that lady she doesn't know how to put nailpolish as you guys see in the pictures, the second coat was half of my nail , i showed her 2..3 times , anyhow she finished padicure , when she came to manicure i can't explain i have worse experience with her, she doesn't know how to make shape , she doesn't know how to put gel nail polish. She removed my cuticle and put it in the bowl and told me to wash my hand in the same bowl i said , no i will clean hands in the sink , i went there she came also , she wash the same bowl in water for one two second and put the bowl in that place where all the bowls were. She start putting gel nail polish , believe me or not she doesn't know how to put get polish at the end i said remove all the nail polish and she made deep lines and scratches on my nail. All she did was talking talking talking with others or on phone she doesn't care about her customer. When it came to pay , the short man came and in their language talked with her and ask me to pay for padi manicure and i said why for manicure , i showed her my nails , he said i will talked to her but they both talked in there language . He didn't say a single word to that stupid careless woman . He charged me 38$ for no reason instead of 33$(simple padicure , it was not gel padi) and he charged my sister 48$ (no gel) so basically they charged my sister only 10$ for manicure. Their regular padicure is 25$ and callus remove is 8$ total is 33$ they charge me 38$. What they gonna do with 5$ ? Moreover they callus are still on my feet. Should i charge you what you guys did with my toe which is full of pus now. What about pain i have. Plz ask them about her state certificate before taking any service from her. i m 1000% sure they don't have it. Soon i m gonna complaint against them because that place is not clean at all , no body has board certificate. And they use the same tools for everyone. I could sue you bcoz they have cameras and i can ask them to see how she did my padicure and manicure . They are more then worse in the town. Two stars because I love how van does my nails. But their receptionist is dreadful. She always confirms my appointment 1 minute before the appointment and when I tell her I was not scheduled for that time she said they have a recording of me saying I wanted an appointment at 10:00 am. They never answer the phone and if I don't make my appointment before I leave I literally have to text and DM them to get another appointment. Sometimes I won't here back from them for 3-5 days. The receptionist doesn't do anything besides collect payments at the end of each hour so I don't understand why she can't get back to clients in a timely manner. I wish I could give less stars , on Instagram this shop seems amazing but it's not at all. A business is run on customer satisfaction. I did not get my nails done by the owner but the other guy. The whole time I'm telling him how to do the nails, I asked for a fill and after he was done applying the powder it looked like I still needed a fill. And my middle finger was extremely crooked, I waited maybe thinking he would file them down and make it blend into my cuticle and he didn't so before he applied polish I got up. As I was walking out the owner asked me "are you new ?" I said "yes and I'm leaving and I'm not paying." He said "okay." I left. The other guy comes outside and starts saying "fuck you bitch!" And getting in my Face and balling up his fist like he was going to hit me and I told him "I'm a female you're going to hit me?" then the owner comes out and starts video taping me until I explained and showed him why I didn't want to pay and he took his aggressive little friend and went back in the salon. This is extremely unprofessional and disgusting. I felt extremely threatened by this little man, this business should be shut down, no matter how nice your nails seem over social media that is not acceptable . The WORSE Experience I've had at a nail salon.!!! I had two appointments at two different times one for my Mom and myself. We arrived there right before the first appointment and checked in with the woman at the reception to which she rudely replied we are "behind" right now and can't help anyone. They WAY OVER CHARGE for sloppy/ mediocre nails. I was charged $110 for a full set of acrylics that came out... cheap looking. Chloe rushed through the entire set. I don't mind paying $110 but it was NOT up to par with the way the nails came out. at the end i mentioned I wanted very thin lines of glitter and she made it super thick & uneven. i then ask if she's going to put a clear coat over the glitter to make the the glittler stays she said no to not worry the glitter will stick and not come off. My Nails were completely dry at this point. I go home and half the glitter had already came off my nails. I reach out to them and the guy who's in charge of the Instagram account, Brian i believe gave me attitude asking why I didn't say anything before I left. I explained that I expressed my concern about the glitter to the nail Tech & she said it was fine. I'm not one to negotiate price even tho the service was poor I'll pay the price for her time but I left very unhappy. he said he could give me a $10 discount. When I walked in I had my temperature checked and everyone was wearing their masks properly covering their mouth and nose. My pedicure had all disposable lining around and there was plastic shields around every seat. The seats were sprayed and wiped down after every customer. I felt so incredibly safe! I got Bryan and omg my nails could not be happier. First he removed my old set then shaped and designed a whole new set in under an hour. He hand drew all my designs and I paid less for a set that looks a million times better. Super random but I also fell off a horse the next day and not one single nail broke so I'm not going anywhere else lol thank you guys! I love my nails so much! read more
