Overpriced, I was charged $100 for A FILL and the design was not worth $100, majority if not all of my nails aren't filed straight and the french tips aren't painted straight either. I wanted to give a full 5, and I'm trying to be as honest and calm about it. I went to get a full French ombré set. They had to take my old acrylics off for this specific design--cool no problem. They informed me that set was $50 before they did anything. I got two gold details. They were $5 each--which honestly is a little steep since mine was just a glitter strip on two nails. I get it, some ppl go crazy with designs and expect it to be like a dollar. Setting the appointment was simple. The number they provide is responsive and want to always fit you in the schedule. I wanted to add a pedicure but they were honest and already had people waiting and said I would have to wait behind them (20-30mins) and I thought that was really fair. I denied to wait cause I had to be somewhere but I appreciate their honesty. The girl that did mine (she never mentioned her name so I'm not sure she had the chin length reddish brown hair) was kind of really rough with the filing and everything. So rough that she filed through my skin and sanded my skin off. I didn't lash out. I just said ouch and she apologized and went to put some solution on it. People make mistakes I wanted to be understanding but i guess it doesn't always pay off. I wasn't going to make a huge deal, and get all crazy like I've seen some people. I figured if I stayed calm, they would address the situation. But in the end still paid the full $60. She was sorry but I think at least a discount would have sufficed for being hurt. I did still tip her well cause everyone has bills to pay. But she should have notified the supervisor/manager about what happened as soon as she did. I knew she kind of freaked out and didn't know what to do, so I knew she was concerned. Honestly, maybe it's my fault cause I didn't speak further on the issue. But my nails never hurt his bad after a full set nor have I ever been cut so bad. Next time I'll speak up. All in all they do WONDERFUL work and have the MOST OPTIONS for nail designs. So if you conjure up a design/color/stone they probably have it and will do it well. Just don't be afraid to say something if it goes wrong cause they might try and get away with it. I get it though. A lot of customers that frequent nail spots get crazy just for the sake of getting free shit--especially with this Yelp app. I've seen people try to talk down to managers for things the technician did and I'm not about that. But they do great work. I wouldn't give them less than a 4 start purely based on the talent that's sitting in those chairs. It's real talent and I appreciate the work they do. There's always room for improvement though, right? To the lady that cut me, I forgive ya! I happen to have a higher pain tolerance and a little more patience. He has no excuse cuz he knows the the prices really well and got the nail polish for me so I don't know how he could accidentally mistaken I got design... So after I got my first manicure I made an appointment that day two weeks from then to get another set and I showed him a picture and they said okay. Requested a deposit I said no problem. There are some positives and negatives about my experience. For one, I was so happy that they could take me for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I work close by and had an hour to get everything done and they said it was no problem. This of course was true but I think they didn't spend enough time on me thinking they didn't have it. Everything was done with in 30 minutes. Gel manicure, pedicure and paying. The first mistake I made was not asking the prices. I have been doing my nails long enough to pretty much guess what the prices are. I went in knowing i was just doing gel and a regular pedicure with no frills. I assumed it would be about 38 or so maybe $40. When i went to pay I was told it was $50. That completely threw me for a loop. My pedicure had nothing but the basics and my gel nails were about as simple as they get. The gel is pretty light so you can see where old nail polish was not taken off and where there are different color tones. The service was ok and the end result was fine but I was not blown away. You for sure are paying for more than you get. Again, I should have asked about the prices but there is clearly a large markup on their services. I don't mind paying a higher dollar for certain perks and outcomes but when its just the bare minimum $50 is pretty steep in my book. read more

I came here to do Gel x and the place was nasty. Very unclean environment. The person next to me was getting their nails done and the manicurist was using a brush to clean up the nail polish. The person who was doing my nails couldn't find the brush so the manicurist next to her handed her the brush and used it on me which I think is so unsanitary. I was getting anxious and wondered if they even clean their equipment before hand because most places have the nail clippers and nail equipment in a package. This is my UPDATED review: After I posted my original review they removed me from their Instagram page. Talk about unprofessional. My review was honest & not even rude or bad. But, if I am being SO HONEST, the lady cut my cuticles so many times & would NOT stop talking. The OWNER kept rushing her, which resulted in my nail polish coming out spotty. I had to go to a different nail salon to get them fixed days later. Pedicure was the WORST I've ever had. She basically just re-polished my toes & I paid $20 for that? I could've done it myself. It's upsetting because I was so excited about this place, followed them on IG & all. Only to get banned from their social media because of an HONEST & not at all rude review. I got my nails done here three weeks ago, I waited to post a review because I wanted to see how they were after three weeks. I got a new set from Tuan here and it was actually really good. Usually after getting a full set my nail beds ache for a couple days, but not from Tuan. The gel color I picked never peeled or chipped. I got gold foil on my accent nails and those never chipped off either. Only thing I will say is that 75% of my nails lifted by the end of the three weeks.
