I didn't even have to tell him how to cut my hair, he just knew from looking at me what hair would suit me best. so far I've been getting a ton of compliments from family, friends and co workers. His price is also very good compared to these barbers out here charging an arm and a leg for a fade. We had been coming here regularly about once a month, always getting the exact same haircut for my son. This time, before the haircut even started, I simply asked to make the top a little shorter because my son is very active, has thick hair, and his head sweats a lot once the hair gets longer. Instead of responding professionally, he started arguing with me and even began telling me some strange story about how Arabs live in the desert and are fine with the heat. It was completely irrelevant and uncomfortable. When I repeated that I just wanted the top slightly shorter, he became visibly offended, started acting rude and annoyed, and made the whole experience unpleasant. Then, after I questioned why he was being disrespectful, I noticed I was overcharged an extra $15. Very unprofessional behavior, especially toward regular customers and while cutting a child's hair. After this experience, we won't be coming back. read more

Called and walked in same day. This is the no frills, good service I really like. Luke washed and conditioned my hair very thoroughly, gave me some great tips on how to care for my type of hair texture and really listened to what I was looking for and my hair goals. He took his time and made sure to check in while he was working with my hair to make sure I was liking it every step of the way. Plus the price was very reasonable. No pushy sales tactics, just straight to the point good hair cutting and washing and ironing. I will definitely come back! Parking was easy but it was mid day. I'm honestly so impressed. This was my first time in my life at 27, getting my hair styled and cut more than 4 inches at a time. I was really nervous and had been waiting several weeks to get my hair cut from my usual contact so I decided to come to Luke's today. I'm about to start school again and moving from the west coast to the east coast in a week. I was really wanting to get my hair done but was scared to not be happy with the outcome. My hair was great before don't get me wrong but it was so boring, appeared way too thin, and was difficult to even put into a clip which is the only way I do my hair everyday. I walked in and showed him what I wanted and he assured me it would come out good and even gave me a little more length compared to the image which made me less anxious. I called him ahead of time and he saw me right away. I was in and out in about 30 minutes!! The only thing that surprised me was not having many clients around that time so I highly recommend coming here for the quick and great service. He also gave me tips on how to maintain my hair etc which was helpful because I'm so clueless when it comes to that lol. When I was shopping around, the previous quotes I got were insane..them trying to charge you for a "consult" on top of a cut on top of a style...as a broke medical student it just wasn't possible for me. His prices were so reasonable and if I could have tipped him the cost of the overall cut I would have haha (seriously) but he was so grateful for the tip I was able to provide him with. I honestly could go all night so just see for yourself and I hope this helps anyone like me that is also anxious about having your hair touched. I will ONLY follow up with him in the future. I had to update my review to include the great service I've received from Nicole, she waxed my eyebrows and she gave me a great pedicure. The picture of my pedicure is nearly a week old and it still looks great! My husband even came in for help with HIS feet after my great experience. I will add a picture of my eyebrows soon, but she has re-converted me to waxing after nearly a decade of threading. And her pricing is very reasonable. I also have to add that my husband and 2 year old toddler have also been getting haircuts from Luke. This guys doesn't care about your time, he thinks it's okay to "squeeze" people in while you're sitting there waiting. I had to wait 45 min past my appointment time just for him to tell me he doesn't know how to do the haircut I want. This guy only knows how to do one hairstyle so if you're looking for something specific he is not the one, he gives the same haircut to every girl that walks in. Also, while I was sitting there, waiting, he was just trash talking all his clients, one after the other, sharing information that his clients trusted him with. He has no respect for the people that keep his business running! He calls himself a stylist BUT have you seen his haircut? Don't take this guys advise he is so old school.
