Would have been better if they actually greeted me when I walked into the shop and was looking around. They wouldn't take my order or asked me what I wanted. The person behind the counter seemed like they didn't even want to talk to me. Such a shame because I really wanted to try their items. We ended up just walking out. Waste of time. I haven't been treated like that in a long time. Definitely do not recommend and would never come back.

A fantastic little bakery in Del Mar with the spirit of France in every breath. The pastries were buttery and delicious with a nice crisp texture and delicious flavorings. The staff were friendly and helpful. While a small space, it doesn't hold back on its French patisserie charm. Whether it's a buttery croissant, sweet macaron, savory coffee or some French delicacy, Paris En Rose has something for you.

Chocolate croissant was perfect. Also had the seasonal danish with whipped marscipone. Yahoo! amazing. Cute store. Neat and tidy and elegantly simple. Service was outstanding. Latte and cappuccino were good.

Small amount of chocolate inside the croissant.

I was in the center for lunch and decided to pick up a sweet treat before heading home. Small shop located on the top level of the center with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. During my midweek visit it was already slim pickings. I gravitate towards anything chocolate and the only chocolate treat I saw. Was the chocolate croissant. It looked appetizing and pretty. I asked the employee how much chocolate the croissant had inside since I prefer a lot of chocolate. She mentioned 3 bars. I took a chance and made the purchase for $6. I toasted my croissant when I got home, took a bite, and was disappointed with the amount of chocolate on the inside. It was a bare sliver. I was bummed.

A colleague of mine has a big sweet tooth, so I promised her she had no idea what surprise I had in store: a Tour de France pastry experience. I knew exactly who to reach out to and I was lucky enough to meet the owner herself. She is such a down-to-earth soul, and when I asked her to surprise me with her favorite pastries for a custom preorder, she set aside time to make the whole experience truly special. I've been here a few times before, but the consistency continues to amaze me. The staff are knowledgeable about ingredients and policy, something so refreshing in a world where too many places sell frozen, pre-packed food. For this order, I needed pastries to impress a production team at a business meeting, and I just knew Paris en Rose would deliver exactly what I envisioned. The pastries themselves looked like they belonged on the set of Bridgerton, with stunning presentation, delicate colors, perfect textures, and flavors that felt like a dream. Everyone at the meeting was taking photos of the desserts before even tasting them. The joy they brought to the table was priceless. Even the pickup process was thoughtful. Parking at LAX is never easy, but an employee helped me park safely on the side since he knew I'd be in and out quickly. Inside, I noticed even more giftable items and details I hadn't before. At sunset, the store glows with the most feminine ambiance, down to the pointed-toe heeled shoe door handle and perfectly complementary décor. From the kind service to the artistry of the pastries, Paris en Rose gave me an experience of a lifetime. My vision came to life without me even having to explain it. There truly aren't enough words to capture how special this place is.

Beautiful French Bakery & Cafe! So Aesthetically pleasing! The Raspberry Danish is Delicious!!!! The Energy in this cafe is the best! The two Baristas there were super friendly !! I asked for there names but of course i forgot, but i did get an iced vanilla latte with oat milk that was Delicious as well!! Made my visit to Delmar better (: All there Bakes Goods look amazing !! They were almost out ! So they didn't have a lot, but i was able to get the raspberry Danish which was also recommended by the Baristas (: Totally my to go Cafe whenever i come to Del Mar !!

Came there to get few pastries and of course some coffee. Me and my wife both opted for a pistachio iced lattes and they were good. Maybe a little bit too sweet for my taste but still good. For pastries we got matcha, raspberry, and raspberry rose croissants. Kids loved the matcha one. Filling amount was great. As for texture and taste we had slight differences of opinion. Wife loved it as it is, I felt like I'd prefer it to be a little less buttery but still enjoyed it. It is a bit of a walk to get to the storefront And parking could be a little easier.

Delicious pastries, cakes and beverages! Attached to a parking garage (first hour free). Located on the top floor of the building, plenty of seating on the same floor.

This was my first visit to Paris En Rose, and I had heard great things about their pastries. I stopped by with my mother and daughter for a little treat. While they don't offer indoor seating, there are a couple of small tables out front, and a nearby patio in the shopping center provides additional seating. The shop appears to offer a variety of pastries, but when we arrived, the selection was quite limited. I ordered the pistachio croissant, which unfortunately was dry, and my mother felt the same about her pastry. We were hoping for a more impressive experience, but overall, we were a bit disappointed.

Stumbled upon this shop randomly when I was craving for some good croissant and matcha. Unfortunately, the croissants tasted terrible despite looking super gorgeous. Ordered: pistachio croissant, matcha spiral croissant, and matcha latte. Both croissants are very stale. Pistachio is pistachio cream inside but barely any of that nutty flavor. Matcha croissant has matcha cream inside but again the flavor is very weak. Matcha latte is good (ceremonial grade and you can customize however you want, extra charge for oat milk). The entire order is $25

The shop is tucked into a quiet corner of the center and has a clean, cozy, slightly nostalgic feel to it. Everything looked well kept and inviting, and the cookie display definitely pulls you in. The cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. We ordered the classic chocolate chip and the Dubai cookie. Both were really well done with soft centers, great texture, and not overly sweet. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the chocolate. The Dubai cookie stood out with its richer, more indulgent flavor, but the classic chocolate chip was just as satisfying. An easy spot to pop into for a treat while shopping or to grab cookies to-go. But today I needed a little extra je ne sais quoi because my morning was annoying, so I decided to splurge on lunch and not just a pastry here. I asked Steve, the (très beau et gentille!) co-owner what the quiche of the day was. There were two: one with jambon (ham) and one with épinards et fromage de chèvre (spinach and goat cheese). When I hesitated, he told me that the spinach one was amazing. Even though it's $20 for a quiche plate, I decided to go for it. I thought I was going to get a sad little quiche slice for that amount and might regret it. But OMG, it was more than worth it! Already they have a lovely patio on this pretty street in this fancy design district. But it was also a HUGE and exceptionally savory rectangular slice, alongside a DELECTEABLE petite salade. I asked Steve what mustard they use in the vinaigrette, and he said plain old Dijon - but the proportions and the seasoning were EXCELLENT. So it was salad perfection, not heavily dressed at all, just delightful. The patio was full on a Friday with ladies who lunch - but did that include me, as a solo diner, since I am a lady who had lunch? I'm not sure, but you can feel comfortable here no matter what. I arrived around 7:55 AM, well after the posted 7:30 AM opening time, and the store was clearly not ready--almost no bread was available for purchase, and an employee named Savannah was still stocking shelves while talking on the phone. That alone is disappointing, but what followed was worse. When I asked her for help finding a specific bread, I was met with a rude and dismissive response that it would take another 25 minutes. When I questioned why the store wasn't ready despite being open, she became defensive and started blaming others instead of helping or taking any responsibility. The situation escalated unnecessarily due to her attitude. Another employee then stepped in and found the bread within seconds, proving the issue wasn't availability--it was poor customer service. There was no apology, no attempt to de-escalate, and no sense of accountability. This reflects poorly on staff training and management oversight. Opening hours should mean the store is ready to serve customers, and basic professionalism should be the standard. Management needs to address both operational readiness and customer service training. Based on this experience, I would hesitate to return.
