    Winter melon with green tea.
    Julie T.

I was craving a banh mi sandwich and came across this place. The price was reasonable and they sell all the "Asian Fast Food" snacks here. From a variety of Banh Mi sandwiches to Korean corn dogs. The service was excellent and fast. I ordered special combination banh mi with special combination pho and ended with a fried eggroll. For the price, the quality was excellent. I will be back for more! Oh yeah, I also ordered wintermelon with green tea and no sugar. It was a great cup of tea!

The food here is excellent, with plenty of options for BTT. I tried the banh mi, and it was delicious. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is also fantastic--bold and strong.

The first thing you see when you walk into Paris Banh Mi in Duluth is a vast, empty hall. I should have noticed the warning signs then--like maybe they spent their whole budget on floor space instead of quality. I ordered the sugarcane kumquat drink, and being the ice-hater I am, I politely asked for no ice. The cashier smiled sweetly and said, "Sure! That'll be an extra $4." Excuse me, what?! Four extra dollars for... no ice? Do I get a discount if I ask for more ice? Will they pay me if I ask for only ice? Then, as if the absurd ice charge wasn't enough, I watched them craft my "fresh" drink. Spoiler alert: The fresh kumquat came straight from a bottle! I was expecting a farm-to-cup experience, but I guess they ran out of farm and just went straight to the bottle aisle. Fresh? Try "fresh out of the convenience store!" The drink? Meh. Not worth the $7.99 price tag. I would've been better off sticking to my good ol' Starbucks coffee--at least there's no bottled kumquat involved! But hey, if you're feeling generous, feel free to donate that $7.99. Maybe it'll go toward buying a fresh kumquat or, you know, more empty floor space.

Paris banh Mi is where the old blazin cajun was Located in the I Luv Pho, Sri Thai, I luv bowling and many others business.. The setup inside of the restaurant is very spacious and nice. It's a definitely a great hang out spot. Music is there is very low and atmosphere is chilled. Service was not the greatest. When we walked in no one greeted us and when I was ready to order they still didn't greet us just said " what can we get for you?" I was planning on ordering different items to give it a try but after the way the person took my older I went ahead and just ordered one sandwich and one drink. I ordered the strawberry lychee tea and the special combination sandwich. The drink was good, very refreshing. However, the sandwich was okay. The bread was super hard, and the flavor was not there.... Definitely over price for the size of the sandwich

Very nicely decorated and furnished. Nice ambiance. I ordered 6 sandwiches including special cold cut, shredded chicken, and grilled pork. All are good. Bread was freshly baked. I wanted about 15-20 minutes. Bread was crispy and made just right. The bread was thinner than expected but no worries I loaded it with fresh veggies. I requested the veggies on the side so that I can eat the sandwiches the next day as well. Day two sandwiches were still good after being toasted in the oven. They also had other pastries and I have yet to try them. I also got some pate puffs and my sister said it was good. The sandwiches were wrapped up good and labeled. The only thing is maybe a paper bag is more suitable than a plastic bag. They have many items on the menu so maybe I'll be back sometime to try other food or drinks.

I've been wanting to try this place and was exited it came to Atlanta. My sister loves the one in Orlando. I like how they have different options where you can get a burger or croissant with the Vietnamese meats. However, it was very bland and mediocre. The pate chaud need more seasoning and the meat inside it was hard. I also go Vietnamese coffee and it didn't taste like coffee at all. More like a milk tea. I give it two stars for the cleanliness and nice decor.

We haven't even taken a sip from this yet.

Went to the one in Orlando and loved it so we decided to try this place. Everything was either mid or worse. We bought drinks, snacks, and banh mis. First banh mis were bland, bread tasted like it wasn't fresh, pate was bland, didn't taste the butter and it was just bleh. The nuggets were seasoned in a very interesting way, I guess it wasn't too bad. The pate chaud was alright, but also pretty bland. Lastly, the drinks were VERY disappointing. I'd like to reiterate we tried this place in Orlando(also short staffed with 2-3 workers) and LOVED EVERYTHING. Especially the drinks. At this location however, they left an inch gap at the top for an unknown reason. I watched them make it and it's premade so it's not like they freshly made the drink and didn't have enough. They purposely left a gap. If you're going to do that, use a smaller cup. I guess they were trained to skimp you out or the economy really is in shambles and they're trying to cut cost. Either way, very disappointed. The prices were around the same as the orlando's branch so it's not like we're paying less. We're paying the same to get less which is mind boggling.

Paid $672 and gave an extra $28 tip bc I know they always give excellent customer service!

My wife and absolutely love this place! When walking in you immediately get a relaxing European boutique bakery! You definitely get the bang for your buck as you're paying for a little more than one sandwich but you literally get almost TWO sandwiches! We brought some home to our parents and dad gave it THREE thumbs up! He said it was the best bánh mì in atlanta that we've ever brought home to them! We love it so much that we just ordered another 100 sandwich's for our even this weekend! Check out the receipt! No cap! Customer service is super on point as their entire staff are always friendly, energetic, and helpful!

Could be spicier but good crunch

I have tried their Banh mi but I tried their drinking food that they have nightly. Stepping into the shop you think it's just a typical small Banh mi shop but then on the right it's a whole dining area beautifully decorated. Service was nice and friendly. Food was alright. The clams was a bit too sweet, the rare beef salad was not sour or spicy, the conch and mango salad was alright. I love the fried shrimp chips that accompanied the Bo tai chanh and salad. Chicken feet in lemongrass was an 8/10, could use more lemongrass and sourness but crunch was on point, not super soft.

Sooo let's start this review. Pros: decor super aesthetic, clean and organized Cons: food is mid, Banh mi bread is kinda doughy, nothing is spectacular. The drinks for some reason is not fill all the way to the top! These drinks are not cheap. They range from 5-7 dollars per drink and for that price I expect it to be filled to the top. Overall I feel as though all the money went into the decor and not into the food. It's not worth the price. Especially with so many better options out there. I've been to other location of this franchise for instance the Paris Banh mi at Kissimmee and it was so much better. So I think this is just a specific location thing. So disappointed and I Will not be coming back

The bahn mi was on point and the croissant and burger bun came toasted. The service was amazing as we were greeted when we entered and the server made suggestions on what was good and what she also enjoyed - which helped greatly. The ambiance is fresh and new. A nice spot to sit for a few hours with plenty of space to not feel so on top of other people. Would highly recommend.

I want to be upfront with this review and call out my experience honestly…read more Personally, I'm sensitive to heavy MSG usage. When I eat at many Japanese or Korean soup restaurants that don't rely heavily on MSG, I rarely get headaches afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I ordered the bún bò Huế, a spicy and rich Vietnamese noodle soup originating from the central city of Huế. Traditionally, it features a bold, savory broth flavored with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with thick rice vermicelli noodles, sliced beef, pork (often shank or knuckle), and fresh herbs with crunchy vegetables like banana blossom or cabbage. The portion was generous and visually accurate to the dish, but the broth felt extremely heavy and overpowering for me, and I left with a noticeable headache--something that doesn't usually happen to me at similar soup-focused restaurants. As a side note, the restaurant had a health inspection score of 81 (low B) the last time I checked, which is fairly in line with many older, high-volume ethnic restaurants, but still worth mentioning for transparency. The location is also something to be aware of. It's in a busy parking lot with a lot of reckless driving activity, so be careful when walking--this isn't the kind of place where you can casually stroll through the lot like you might at Whole Foods or Publix. You definitely need to watch left and right. The surrounding businesses include an American Deli and a pizza buffet, which gives you an idea of the overall environment. Overall, Pho Dai Lo serves authentic, bold-flavored Vietnamese dishes, and fans of strong, intense broths may enjoy it. However, if you're sensitive to very rich seasoning or additives, your experience may vary. Im Asian btw I know msg is used in a lot of viet and Chinese dishes and maybe the reasons why I enjoyed this dish. But I do have regret after coming out. It's not cheap either for two person with tip roughly $20 pp. u can get all you can eat buffet or even the Gohan seafood buffet if you think about it.

She's been there so long that I just call her my aunty at this point. Today, I did a little takeout haul--grabbed five banh mi sandwiches (Shrimp, Steak, Chicken, Special Combo & BBQ Pork). The wait time was super chill, maybe 15-20 minutes max. My usual go-to is the Special Combo, but since I was ordering for friends, I let them pick first. Ended up with the Shrimp Banh Mi today, which I hadn't had in forever. Solid 7/10. My dad knows I'm obsessed with the Special Combo, so he shared some with me, and yep--still a 10/10, no question. Aunty also has a deal where if you buy five items, you get one free, so I went for the spring rolls. They were pretty simple--just shrimp, carrots, and noodles--good but nothing crazy. 6/10. Now, back to the sandwiches! My friends gave the Chicken and BBQ Pork both an 8/10. The bread was soft, the meat and veggies were balanced just right, and overall, it was just chef's kiss. I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. Unfortunately, tonight was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We arrived almost two hours before closing, and the restaurant was not busy. Despite that, our food came out very late, with half of it being served when we were already preparing to leave. It was also my husband's birthday, and since we run a business ourselves, it's hard for us to plan outings--so this was meant to be a simple, enjoyable dinner. I ordered a chocolate cake, which arrived completely frozen. I let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and it was still rock solid, so I had to send it back. On top of that, as we were leaving, we were still waiting on spring rolls and a chicken baguette. It also took a long time just to get the check so we could leave. The most upsetting part: As we were walking out, an older gentleman and our usual server stopped us and asked for a tip. My husband explained that we weren't leaving a tip because the service was poor and extremely slow--specifically mentioning that the younger server never came to our table until around 2:05 AM. Instead of handling this professionally, the server became angry, started kicking us out, and even called us "cheap." We have never been confronted like this before. Business owner to business owner, I would NEVER speak to a customer this way. If service isn't up to standard, getting upset at customers for not tipping is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The food is still good, and I've always recommended this place to others--but treating loyal customers this way is ridiculous and avoidable. Did they lose a customer? Yes. Will I miss coming here? Yes. Could this have been handled better? Absolutely.
