When I first came in, I get greeted immediately by staff and the decor was very good inviting like a night out in Paris, only thing missing was some music to bring it altogether. It was a bit quiet and made it kinda feel awkward hearing every conversation. I went towards the dessert display first where they had a variety of cheesecakes and cakes. Then I go for the main attraction, The Banh Mi! Which sits right at home with my Vietnamese culture. I'm a classic type so I go for the Original #1 with the cold cuts, pate, mayo and pickled veggies on a baguette. I really like the fact that the baguette isn't too thick and the meat to bread ratio is good. I'm use to having my banh mi cut in half so you're going to have to ask to do that as they usually leave it whole. It looks more aesthetically appetizing seeing all the layers in this way. Idk why the reviews only give a place a 4. This place is own and run by Vietnamese people from Vietnam. The food here is real, tasty, and super friendly. I got the banh mi B7 and B1. It came with a lot pate, the vegetables were perfect crunchy and sweet, the meat was generous and my bread was perfectly crunchy. 100% recommend. This is my new go to for sandwiches now. From the second we walked through the doors, we were impressed with the door and cleanliness of the cafe. The staff's customer service is top notch. The server came over several times to make sure that we didn't need anything else. We have been eating Banh Mi sandwiches when they were on $1.50 in San Jose. I mention this because Paris Banh Mi has the best sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was fresh and had a nice crunch. I had the veggie Banh Mi with tofu skin which was so delicious. The veggies were expertly marinated and crispy. My husband had the grilled pork which was moist and juicy. The sandwiches are put on what looked like a panini press which makes the sandwich toasty. Banh mi tastes fine, location is good but service? I always order online for pickup, usually one or 2 banh mi's to go. The first few times we let it slide after they told us "our printer is broken so we didn't see your online order" but after maybe the 8th, 9th time, but 10th time through a span of a few months? Is it really broken? I dont know how many times they've failed to "print their online orders" but getting there then having to wait there again is annoying. Please fix your online order issue. I've been waiting for Paris Banh Mi Cafe and Bakery to open. They have a reputation for fresh ingredients and delightful Bakery. Today I tried the Matcha Brûlée Boba and the UBE Cheesecake. I have to say it's so good. Boba price $7.50 for the matcha and milk Tea with cheese was $6.50. That's comparable to others Boba shops in the area. Next time I'll try the Banh Mi. I've tried Paris a few times and its one of the better places in town. The sandwiches may look slim, but its longer than the football looking norm in Fresno. It's similar in style to Lee's Sandwich, except the bread has more of a crunch on the exterior shell, where as Lee's is just all soft. Paris's bread might be hit or miss sometimes. But when its good, its really good, crisp crunch, soft interior. The grilled pork isn't lemon grass, its like a 5 spice flavor, it's not that great. Your better off getting the BBQ pork or the cold cut meats. The veggie's have a nice pickle, the mayo is good, the pate is good, taste like what a banh mi is suppose to taste like. I have enjoyed the dishes at this restaurant. My most recent purchase was the beef flank Pho. It was amazing! The meat is lean, not fatty, the broth is refreshing, not greasy, they had the flat rice noodles which I enjoy because they are a little bigger and they supplied a healthy amount of veggies to be added to the broth. They bring your food out to the counter and call out your #.. not sure if they do this for the pho too since it's hot and soupy. We ordered two banh mi sandwiches and a drink. I also wanted to order desserts however there was little to choose from. Like I mentioned, it was busy so there was no where to sit.. but when people started leaving the tables were left dirty because the lack of workers?? We stood for a few minutes to wait for some tables to get cleaned which they didn't get to so we ended up sliding the old dishes and food to the side from the previous party. My daughter and I tried the bbq pork bahn mi sandwich with two drinks. I'm no expert in bahn mi sandwiches, but I did not like the flavor, it has a strong Maagi or seasoning sauce flavor that was too overwhelming for me, I couldn't finish my half of the sandwich. I've been here about 5 times now with no review written down but it's finally time to because I've been recommending them in general. Only downfall is there's no reward points because I would've built quite a few by now. I will say I've only really got 2-3 things here. I haven't tried the desserts, and only 1 drink and 2 sandwiches. My biggest recommendation is their combination banh mi, that is my favorite, my obsession (-jalapeño). It's big enough that I usually save the other half of it for the next day, but then I'd also be so hungry to finish it all. My last visit had the buns a bit hard to chew but their other times didn't so I'd just think it's a one time thing. My favorite drink to get here is the ice sea salt coffee! I've gotten it for myself and my family loved it as well that they stole sips from it! Those two would be my combos every time and I'm probably going to get them both again in a few days! The food is absolutely amazing. I've never heard of this place before and I was browsing on door dash. I'm like hey let me try this out this looks good. I got the B2 and their crème brûlée matcha. The B2 was absolutely delicious the pork was flavorful and the veggies were an excellent touch. The drink was yummy just more on the floral plant flavor but is a taste to accustom too but overall delicious food! Such an amazing experience. The noddles were hard like it was straight out of a ramen package. They poured the broth over it without actually cooking it. The broth didn't taste like a usual Korean soup base. Finally I tried the pho and it was really good the first time. The second time was still good just the noodle wasn't soft enough. I didn't try any drinks but my daughter love the Paris by Night. They also have a majestic like natured greenery backdrop area, that would be perfect to snap a selfie. I was welcomed in with vibrant light energy from the employees-service and I ordered the Paris At Night boba tea and it was extremely delicious. The menu also includes Pho, Vietnamese sandwiches, croissants etc. I genuinely had a wholesome mini self care/boba tea type of experience and I truly enjoyed myself. Such a cute spot! One of the best banh mi I've had! The baguette was fresh and still warm when my sandwich was brought out to me. Just the right amount of meat and other fillings. Bummer they didn't have their tapioca pearls ready when we got there first at opening. No fear- had the lychee slush and it was excellent. I had the B2 Grilled Pork. It was amazing. I thought it was well seasoned and the meat was tender. The bread was soft. I prefer it that way. The flavors weren't too over powering. Amazing experience! It's been my second time here now. I love the unique interior and the ambience. The staff were helpful and quick although it's their first week opening. It's spacious so great for large groups to hang out and catch up. A lot of people are complaining about their prices but honestly I think it's reasonable. Their sandwiches fill you up! There was a lot of meat in my sandwich. I love that more Asian foods are being brought to Clovis. Hopefully this place reaches more people. People need to be more understanding that they are fairly new so many things are still lacking but I believe that after a few months they'll be running efficiently. Highly recommend! read more
