I had been wanting to try this place for some time as I kept driving by it. I'm so glad I tried it because I was really impressed! Not only was the service great as everyone who works there was very nice. But their banh mi sandwiches are quite large with a bunch of delicious fillings AND the bread is the best I've ever had! Since the sandwich was so big, I was not able to finish it in one sitting so I put it in the refrigerator to eat the rest the next morning. If you've ever had a banh mi, you know that typically the bread is so hard the next day you cannot eat it. However, this one was still soft! The place was very inviting and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. I like that the place is basically a one stop shop. They have everything from different sandwiches, pho, drinks and desserts too. My husband got the large PN2. He said the soup was good. I got the Vietnamese sandwich plate pork bbq. It was delicious and I like that the bread was thin. I ordered spring rolls to go for my son since it's his favorite. I will be coming back to try the dessert and drinks next time. I've ordered the special combination bahn mi and Vietnamese iced coffee a few times through Doordash and decided to dine in before and as much as I love it, I won't be ordering/dining again. We seated ourselves and a staff brought us menus then another took our orders. Today I brought my sister from out of town, toddler niece and daughter's here and we didn't have the best experience. My sister ordered the creme brûlée matcha drink and they were out of it, so she got the regular matcha drink which she said wasn't good. We ordered mozzarella sticks, two pork vermicelli salad, chicken fried rice and other drinks they had for the kiddos. Half an hour later, the second "server" brought out our drinks and vermicelli salads (who never came back to check on us) but didn't bring the mozzarella sticks. I went up to the front counter patiently waiting, two staff came to the front and just waved me down for me to wait for one of the "server" to help me out. Told her we didn't receive the mozzarella sticks and would like to add one order of egg rolls. She said the mozzarella sticks were never added to our order but she would add it. 5 minutes later she came to let me know they ran out of mozzarella sticks and egg rolls. The girl who took our orders never came back to let me know they were out. Also, how do you run out of many items you have on your own menu.... Especially when we received two egg rolls each with our vermicelli salads. Wondering if they didn't want to serve us cause we had kids with us or if they were really out, or they just really have terrible services! But for sure won't be getting our services again! We were greeted as we walked in. Very friendly and fast service. Lots of space to sit, hangout, and eat. The music was nice and relaxing. Noise level was average. Ordered shredded chicken banh mi sandwich, lemon berry cake, cream brûlée, and coconut smoothie. The sandwich was warm and light on flavor. The lemon berry was a little dense, but I was able to get both lemon and berry flavors so that was good. The cream brûlée cheesecake was delicious, creamy and light. The coconut drink sweet and creamy, but I would've like it to have a much flavorful coconut taste. It seemed a little on the watered down side. Location is on Shaw in a plaza that I wasn't familiar with. The interior is surprisingly cute. However they were playing Vietnamese hip hop or something and it was really loud for us. Hubby got the grilled pork bahn mi. He said the bread was good. I got the croissant special sandwich. Croissant was good. The sauce was a little too much for me at this point in life lol. I also got the matcha crème brûlée. I don't know if there was any matcha to taste. It tasted more like a black milk tea to me. It wasn't bad though. I've been wanting to try this place and was waiting for it to open. While in the area, we went and ordered a Thai iced tea and crème brûlée cheesecake. The shop had good decor and staff was nice. However, the Thai tea didn't have strong tea flavor and the cheesecake had a somewhat floral perfume flavor. They said they recently started offering Pho too so might try that one day. read more

I'm always looking for the next good Banh Mi and this missed it for me. I have a regular place for Banh Mi and it's still going to be my go to place. I was worried when I saw that the chicken Banh Mi says that the chicken was shredded. I knew that the chicken was going to be dry and it was. The saving grace was the special butter mayo that they use to keep the sandwich moist. The bread was nicely toasted but this sandwich needed help from the butter mayo to save it. Since, already this sandwich is a "no go" again for me. I'll stick to the better places since the price of the others are about the same price. I really wanted to like this place. They're made to order and are perfectly and VERY nearly wrapped and assemble in the French bread. Not overflowing or too big to eat in one bite like others and which I actually prefer. Combo includes multiple different meats which was good but the whole grilled pork was superior. Drinks- Thai iced tea and taro slushie both with boba. I'd come back even if just for the drinks. Bobas are chewy. Thai tea was well sweetened and not overly so. Taro slushie was very good and could really taste the taro essence. Interior- many tables and clean and modern. This is probably one of the better banh mi place compared to the others locally. Growing up, I enjoyed eating banh mi for breakfast and lunch. I had tried their grilled pork, bbq pork, and shredded chicken. Out of the three, I liked the grilled pork the most. The flavor of the grilled pork was there and the bread was just right.
