I don't usually give a bad review but this isn't a great experience. I ordered a Buche De Noel cake on Monday (12/23) and scheduled to be picked up on Thanksgiving at 9:45am. Showed up at 12pm, told the staff that i'm here to pick up a cake . Stood there for 15 mins and they kept asking if I already ordered the cake, already pay or if i came to the wrong location. But nope, I already paid, came to the right Paris Baguette. I knew they will be busy on Thanksgiving day so I ordered 2 days before. After a long wait they came out and told me that they don't have my cake or either my name but they will give me someone's cake. Also this happened again on the New Year day. Ordered a chocolate strawberry cake to be picked up, came to the store and have to wait 20mins for the same answer that they don't have my name or my cake. If this happens once I understand that they were busy and sometimes they messed up the orders but this was my second time. The staffs weren't really know what they are doing. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a Cappucino cake and some tarts for Thanksgiving. Scheduled to be picked up on Thanksgiving at 2:00. They called me and said I forgot to pick up my tarts last night at 11:52 today on Thanksgiving. I didn't pick up a cake yesterday as it wasn't supposed to even be ready. After multiple holds I was told they didn't have the order. If that were the case how did they call me to let me know I forgot to pick up the tarts? Wrong answer! If they called and said, "We're sorry we didn't make enough cakes to fill your order but you are welcome to come and pick out a different cake." I would have been okay with that ~ we're human, we make mistakes. But to lie and try to shift the blame onto me ~ pissed me off. read more

2 stars cause the cake we bought was good, but atmosphere is not enjoyable at all. They really need to set it up to where people know where to line up to pay, because it gets packed and it's really small. The reason I gave them a one-star is because of how they keyed in the items. We got two twisted donuts and the second donut wasn't charged at $1.95. Instead, we were charged $4.19 for a Snowman King cream donut which we did not buy. You must always ask for a receipt to make sure you are charged accurately. The positive thing about this place is the pastries and the drinks. I called the cafe to fix my transaction and waiting for management to make a correction. Management should look at their cameras to make sure their employees are not cheating the customers. Plus it took us a long way to get to Mesa. read more

I was around the corner and got a chance to take a look at Paris Baguette Located conveniently inside H Mart, went in the morning and there was not much crowd but fresh bakery treats coming out. First impression, super clean, lots of options, made fresh and everyone was wearing mask. I browsed through and picked some items which was on display nicely packaged. Got a piece of cake and a matcha latte as well. I went with Mochi glazed donut, cream filled mini donuts, honey garlic bread, a slice of chocolate cake. The cake was really good delicious soft and not too sweet. I loved the matcha latte, it was creamy and tasty. I was disappointed with mochi donut and cream donuts. Not sure if it was the packing but by the time I got home they were soggy and soft. It was unpleasant to eat. I came here to get a birthday cake and could not decide on only one! The manager/cashier was patient and kind with all my questions about the flavors and selection. Located inside the H Mart grocery store in the front section of the food court. I have been to a few of these cafe pastry bakeries in other parts of the USA. I did not see any gluten free options. To be fair I didn't take the time to ask any of the workers any questions since the one person I talked to seemed to have a hard time understanding me. I don't take "chances " with my celiac. I did order a almond milk latte. It came out fast and quick. It was acceptable. There was very limited seating in the food court. Actually there wasn't any open seating. I was there on a Saturday morning. I didn't see any outdoor seating either. Would be a good place to get coffee and treats to go. Would like to have more seating and gluten free options. read more

I love Asian bakery and the valley could definitely use more of them. Overall I'm a big fan of Paris baguette the cakes , cheesecake , breads are so fresh. I'm glad they have now opened a second location in Scottsdale. My only feedback it would be great if they had like a detailed menu or list of todays specials describing what they offer because I have often seen things that may not be labeled and the staff is pretty clueless about the ingredients. Fri Jul 19, 2024 INADEQUATE LABELS One of the items was labeled as Crab Meat Croquette, the description said it contained imitation crab, and the allergens said it contained crab and fish. Crab Meat can be used to label real crab (which is crustacean shellfish) or imitation crab (which is made of white fish), but the description and allergens had conflicting information. Since real crab would cause an allergic reaction, the friend with me asked the employee behind the counter which one it was since the label was mismatched. MISINFORMED EMPLOYEES The employee claimed that imitation crab and real crab are the same thing and therefore someone with [crustacean] shellfish allergies would have an allergic reaction. This is not accurate, and they did not accurately inform us of the food ingredients in the item. POTENTIAL BREACH OF DUTY OF CARE Since I am deathly allergic to real crab, I asked them if the item contained imitation crab (fish, which I'm not allergic to) or real crab (which I'm allergic to). The person explained that they were the same thing, and after I explained the difference briefly, they claimed that, "It doesn't matter and that I shouldn't eat it just incase it had real crab". OVERALL I know it doesn't seem like much, but being informed about allergens is a difference between a customer in the hospital and suing your business versus a customer not doing that. I hope this is helpful. ********************************** Sat Jul 20, 2024 UPDATE: A day after posting my review, I received a response from Paris Baguette America with a robotic "[we're sorry] for the confusion" and then asking me to send a note with my review to them. Your review is right here on Yelp. I'm informing others so they make good buying decisions in addition to offering ways for the company to fix the problem (hence I outlined the review with "INADEQUATE LABELS" and "MISINFORMED EMPLOYEES"). This is a very easy fix; 1) correct the labels to match the allergens and descriptions and 2) train and or have an allergen manual on hand so employees know what they have. If you had read the review, these would have been very obvious solutions, especially because they are already legally required for a food business. read more

The disappointing thing for me was there were a lot of empty shelves and I know they were bagging delicious looking treats but I couldn't be there to wait for all the treats to be put out. Love Paris Baguette! I love how they have so many cute and delish cakes, as well as, grab and go pastries. I got their milk cream strawberry cake for my friend's birthday, and everyone loved it. By the way, if you like chewy tapioca, try their tapioca bread. It's so chewy and satisfying. It doesn't taste like sweat cream or whatever, kinda bland - but that's why I like it! Not a stranger to the Paris Baguette Las Vegas location, I decided to place my dad's birthday cake order here instead of the competitor (TLJ). I ordered a Green Tea Chiffon cake by phone on Tuesday to pick it up on Saturday and everything went smoothly. The guy on the phone was super polite! As for taste? Not bad! The cream they used was a dream. It was light, airy, and wasn't as sweet as TLJ but the cake itself wasn't as great. The cake, while spongey in appearance, was dry and the green tea flavor was almost undetectable. It was a lot bigger in size for its price though so choose how you want to spend your money in terms of size vs. flavor. If I can get the Paris Baguette cream on a TLJ cake, it would be the ultimate cake. As for their other pastries and baked goods, they're pretty on par with TLJ but for a little cheaper. I'm still not super impressed with Paris Baguette but they get the job done when you want a sweet and/or savory snack! This location is super cozy with a limited amount of goods, all individually wrapped and ready for you to purchase. They have trays for you to use and everything is packaged separately. Makes sense cuz of COVID-19 but in ideal times would love to see less waste. I gravitated towards the chocolate pastries and got two to try. Checking out was simple and the gal was friendly. Tried the goods when I got home and the dough is so soft and fresh, and the chocolate is yummy. Just a note: we came on a Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., not crowded at all, all restaurant workers wearing mask and had plenty of hand sanitizer on counters, Tables in the food court all spread out with sanitizing station in between tables. I arrived here as my last stop. Ate lunch in the H Mart food court first, then shopped in the grocery store and on my way out went to the bakery. By the time I got there, not a lot left, though. I bought a Plain and Almond Croissant along with an Egg Tart. I brought them home for next morning's breakfast, warmed up perfectly in the toaster oven. Hooray for another Asian bakery! I'm not really a big fan of their existing competitor, also set inside another Korean market so I was excited to see Paris Baguette in the newly opened H Mart plaza. Sadly, this location isn't as big as others I've been to and the selection seems more limited I feel like as a result. As a Covid related side note, since this location is smaller it's also hard to socially distance when it's busy since the aisles are pretty narrow. I had to back out of the aisle a few times just to let some other customers get past me. While selection may not be as diverse, the quality still seems to be there as well as the reasonable prices. I'm so excited to have Paris Baguette in AZ. This location is smaller than the ones I've been to in CA, but they try to pack in as much selection as possible with given space. The line was long but it moved fast. People weren't very mindful about social distancing but glad everyone had on masks. They have variety of cakes which would be perfect for special occasions. Great bakery!! I came across Paris Baguette when I was in Seoul so needless to say I was over the moon when they opened one here in Phoenix. Why? Because the have the softest, pillowy, melt in your mouth bun! One of the complaints about this place is pricey, which I can relate. But I am one who is willing to pay a bit more for good, quality food - and this bakery bakes really good pastries. Maybe not all of them but definitely majority of their offerings. I almost bought one of everything the first time I was there. I ended up with: Strawberry croissant- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You can find this in the refrigerated section. Beautiful wrapped but most importantly it tasted as good as it looked. The croissant was flaky, filled with some sweet cream and top with fresh strawberries. My daughter and I couldn't have enough of it! Chocolate croissant- surprisingly it wasn't as flaky as the strawberry one. Not our fave. Pulled apart milk/butter bun (I think) - the bread itself is very soft, and pillowy. The butter/milk they put on top is delish. My only complaint- not enough of the sweet butter! It'll be awesome if they can put some of it in the middle too. Sweet Cream Bun - really good but of course I can always use more filling! Hot dog bun - also delish. Chocolate ganache cake - yum!! I'm a total snob when it comes to chocolate cake and this one is totally worth the calories! The cake is soft and moist, not too sweet but still have the rich chocolate flavor from the ganache. Strawberry cake - this is one of my all time fave dessert. I like to get them from Japanese bakery because they are usually not too sweet. I think they need some time to expand their current selection. I'm a huge fan of Paris Baguette and honestly prefer them over 85 Degrees C (W and E Coast) and Six Ping (Houston, TX). Right now they have a little bit of everything but everything is missing something. Their cake case does not have the same variety as other Paris Baguettes and their bun selection is okay. My all time favorite cake is the blueberry chiffon, so if you see a slice of this, definitely recommend if you like lighter desserts. The sweet potato bun, which I tried today, had a delicious filling. It was plentiful too and would choose their buns over AA Oozy's. Hopefully as time passes theh will get the hang of things and expand their selection and find a better way to manage the weekend lines. read more
