The venue is clean and inviting. We stopped to pick up a couple of sweets to munch on. Tried items from a Paris Baguette in Southeast Asia last year, so thought to try it locally. The display cases are eye-catching, but I felt both times it was just okay for the price. I think that the goods from smaller bakeries taste fresher. Still, in a pinch, you can get something to tide you over 'til the need meal.

Love the ability to pick and choose, combine breakfast items with dessert items. The pastries are light and fluffy - so delish! Several locations - pick one and go!

We came in to redeem the BOGO Cake Slice reward and tried the Fig Jam Layer Cake and the Mango Coconut Cake. The flavors were good, but the quality control definitely needs attention. In the fig cake, they used whole figs because I ended up biting into not one, but two rock-hard fig stems. It hurt my teeth, and it was really disappointing. I wish they had removed the stems before mashing the figs into the jam. For the mango coconut cake, there was a single massive piece of mango, about the size of three or four quarters stacked in the cake. It was impossible to cut through with a fork, and the piece was unripen and tough. It really threw off the texture and balance of the slice. If it weren't for the BOGO deal, these slices are around $7 each, so I'd expect much better quality control. On the positive side, the staff were friendly. When you walk in, you ring the bell, let them know what you want, and they assign you a number. Someone takes your order, and at the register you just give them the number, which does make the checkout process quicker.

The food here is absolutely amazing and the service is just as great. The environment is calm and welcoming which I really loved and it made the experience even better. Everything was enjoyable from start to finish and I will definitely be coming back for more treats. It can be a bit on the pricey side but the quality and overall experience make it worth it.

Let me preface this review by saying that we did come to try out their bakery goods in the evening. So, I was going to give them a by if the texture of the baked goods was not at its peak. But, the issue I had was really these baked goods lacked flavor. We tried their fluffy cheesecake and coffee cronut. The fluffy cheesecake tasted only like angel food cake with no cheese flavor. I was chewing the cronut for a while to see if I could taste any coffee flavor - nothing. Their original mini croissants tasted fine, but just nothing different than the butter croissants I get at Costco. I think because of the price point of these baked goods, it's just pricey for what it is. Granted, I haven't tried all their pastries, I'd give them another go next time I'm in the area. But, currently, I'd rather go to 85 degree bakery for my baked goods fix.

I needed to pick up pastries for a brunch I was hosting at home. My family had mentioned Paris Baguette before so I decided this would be a perfect time to try. I got there around 8:30 am Saturday. I was quickly welcomed in. The cafe was very spacious and a separate dining area which looked very clean and tidy. The decor was pretty. There was a huge selection. It took me a while just to walk around and look at everything. The Dubai chocolate items were all gone. There was also a refrigerated section with macarons, cream puffs and cheesecake. I got the 4 cheese quiche and cheesecake tarts. Both were a hit with my friends.

Wandered into this café after a heavy lunch, the kind where you swear you're done eating... until you're not. First impression? Honestly--breathtaking. The kind of place that hits you before you even sit down. The pastries selection reads like someone actually cares, like they baked with intention instead of a committee. And the service, impeccable. No forced smiles, no theatrics. Just people who know what they're doing and do it well.

I was out one day for lunch and a friend of mine happened to notice Paris over just yonder while we were passing by, and as someone who LOVES their food and content, I said that we must stop before we go back to work and stop is what we did!!! Just a few blocks over from Westheimer, we walk into this bakery and I feel transported. Maybe not quite to Paris, but definitely not the Houston vibe, more of a Parisian vibe! As we walked in, the place just lit up with bright lights and all the delicious pastries that there were to offer. I hadn't been to one of their locations before, I had only gotten to try them through a prior event, so I didn't even know where to start! We walked around and gazed upon all the cases to see what would catch my eye, but everything, and I mean everything did! We walked in circles for about 10 mins before I finally said, we must choose!!! Hah, so you grab a tray and some tongs, and you pick out the items that you'd like. I went with two items, one was a chocolate croissant, it is my favorite and a classic go to. The second was a chocolate something of a pastry, a lot bigger than the croissant I had, and could've been a cross between croissant and donut, I don't know, but looked amazing. I took my food up to the counter, where the cashier greeted me promptly and asked if I found what I was looking for and if I'd like to order a beverage. I told her no on the beverage, but next time will definitely try some of the espresso options, and was sad to not be walking away with more, but I didn't need more!!! I need a reason to come back! We made it back to the office with our treats. My intent was to give one pastry to my son, and eat only half the chocolate croissant, but when I warmed up the croissant, it was so friggin good!! I couldn't stop eating it. The chocolate was just the right amount, and the bread was so soft and delicious and buttery and flaky, and before I knew it, after each bite, it was gone!!! Gone!!! Suffice to say, I'll be back! So good, and awesome to know it is so close to the office!

Larger location with more options and good seating, located in scenic DiHo Square. As always, good coffee, tea, pastries, and lunch items.

I first tried Paris Baguette at a baby shower when a friend brought a good selection of different pastries for everyone to sample. I was hooked! Everything I tried was delicious. Fast forward a few months, I finally stepped into an actual Paris Baguette and was overwhelmed by the number of delectable pastries and cakes the store had to offer. There were savory pastries, different types of croissants, fruit pastries, donuts...something for everyone. They even had pre-packed sandwiches that you can just pick up and go. I wanted to buy the whole store to try everything! However, one only has limited funds and limited stomach real estate, and we had just finished lunch, so we opt for a few favorites, including the sausage pastry and strawberries croissant pastry. Despite having just ate lunch, we still devoured everything on site. The pastry was buttery and flaky, so so good. The strawberries paired perfectly with the custard that was just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone left satisfied. On a side note, we sat on the couch area with a beautifully decorated ceiling foliage on top. Definitely appreciated the details that Paris Baguette put into their store ambiance and decor that really elevates customer experience. If you are a pastry lover, I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Out of the 4 locations I've visited so far, the Bellaire one is the BEST in terms of space and selection. Once I got hooked onto Paris baguette, I could never go back to any of the other bakeries like tous les jours and 85 degrees LOL. Paris baguette has good beverages, bread, pastries, cakes. The tiramisu cake is one of my favorites - light and creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet!! As for drinks, I recommend the iced milk coffee and their flavored lattes! Their cronuts will always be my top choice along with their berry/fruit pastries. Service is great, and the employees are extra friendly here! Super spacious inside, and I think they even added more seating in the back with couches. Parking can be iffy since it's Bellaire, but there's usually a spot somewhere haha.

I really loved the vibes of this Paris Baguette location. The interior was spacious, clean, and there were many tables and nooks for both those that wanted to sip and yap and those that wanted to get work done. Paris Baguette offers many pastries, breads, deserts, drinks, and more. We got a tray full of goodies and almost everything tasted just as good as it looks. Some of our favorites were the fruit tarts, croissants, and the sticky milk bread. This is one of those places where you eat with your eyes, and the more you walk around the store, the more that you want to buy. Come in here for a fun adventure as your post meal snack. I promise the vibes, food, and service are all pristine and will make your experience quite enjoyable.

5 stars for ambiance - large seating area. There are very specific things I like here - the sticky milk bread, honey garlic toast, and mochi donuts. Personally the pastries (croissants, fruit tarts, etc.) do not taste the most fresh. I do stop by whenever I'm eating in the shopping center.

On the other side of the cafe, there are tables to sit and eat, and there are menus stacked up on the counter to view. When I walked in, there were two guys sitting at a table, so there was no service or staff to wait on them at all (probably not needed). The cashier at the counter was quick in totaling up the cost and packaging of my containers into a bag, so it was an easy 'get and go' deal for me. I tried the fried rice, which was mixed with vegetables and tofu, and it was a little bland - had to add black pepper and spicy sauce to eat it. The stir fried beans, carrots, and tofu was lightly seasoned as well, so if you like well seasoned dishes, this would not be the ideal location. I have yet to try the variety of other dishes and desserts they offer, but they do offer clean and healthy vegan options.

It's a cute cozy family owned shop kinda hidden away from the main street but they got everything! It's a small dining area with a small grocery section when you enter. The aunties can't speak English but lucky me there was a young man working who can, he speaks mandarin too. He recommended me to get this plate of spring rolls. They have this one in my picture and another box that's with the vegetarian meats. The spring rolls' texture is nothing what I expected. From the look of it I thought it's got crispy filling but it was rather tasting stale. So I took a closer look, I think there are dried carrots and shallots or onions, and a lot of vermicelli. Personally, I would like the fresh veggies over the dried ones, because when they turn moist they become little too chewy for me. Also I wish the ratio of the vermicelli and veggies are more balanced, the rolls' flavor overall is still very refreshing to eat though. The fish sauce was good too, not too salty and fishy, it's on the more fragrant side. For this box of rolls I paid $10, which is little pricey for me since I have tried better for half that price. But maybe I will be back again and try other things on the menu one day.

The baguette here was solid -- crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside, which is always the most important part of a banh mi. They definitely got the bread right. The fillings, however, could've been more bountiful. I found the meat-to-bread ratio a bit light for my liking. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi, mainly because I like that lemongrass flavor. It was decent, but I'm not sure it's their go-to sandwich. Flavor was okay for me -- enjoyable, just not something that immediately wowed me. My wife had the shredded chicken banh mi, which she seemed to enjoy more than I did mine. A couple of friends ordered the meatball banh mi, and in hindsight, that might've been the move. It seems like the popular choice here and probably what I should've tried. One thing that stood out: this is the first banh mi shop I've been to that offers multiple sandwich sizes, which I thought was interesting and kind of nice depending on how hungry you are. Overall, good bread, decent execution, and a convenient stop -- especially if you're in the area or grabbing brunch before heading somewhere nearby (like Space Center Houston). It may not beat LA banh mi, but it holds its own depending on what you order.

Nguyen Ngo was our first banh mi stop and also our last. I'm really very particular about my banh mi and have a firm POV on what a great dac biet (combo/special) should include (and accept that this is my own preference and that others may disagree!). My checklist below is typically where I find the most variance from shop-to-shop, as almost all places include the requisite jalapeños and cilantro: - Bread: soft with a thin, crispy crust and the crust should not be so hard that it scratches the top of your mouth - Condiments: pate should be fairly generous and flavorful and there shouldn't be so much mayo that it's dripping out of the bread - Pickled veggies: should be close to 50/50 between carrots and daikon - Cold cuts: has to have cha lua (steamed pork sausage) and gio thu (Vietnamese head cheese, preferably one that doesn't have much of the ear as it's too crunchy). I'm fine if it also includes thit nguoi, but don't require it. I don't like thit nuong is included though, as I find it makes the sandwich too heavy So how does Nguyen Ngo stack up against my list? - Bread: 10/10, probably the best bread I've had for banh mi. No idea if they bake it themselves or if they purchase it, but they're definitely doing it right - Condiments: 10/10, perfect balance, but the standout was definitely the pate. It was creamy with a strong flavor, but not overly liver-tasting. I thought about it all week and even considered flying a tub of it back home with me (I did not, but might do it next time) - Pickled veggies: 5/10, mostly carrots with a tiny bit of daikon. Also leaned a touch more sweet than I prefer and maybe not pickled for quite long enough? It was nice and crunchy, but the main drawback was not having enough daikon in the mix - Cold cuts: 8/10, they don't offer gio thu or the kind of cha lua that I like in my banh mi, but the thit, jambon, and saucisson were a good enough combo that it didn't throw me off too much We ordered their dac biet on the first day, which includes this shredded chicken that I really didn't care for. The consistency was almost like pork floss, but less tasty. On the last day, we chose the 4 ingredient banh mi and got it with pate, thit, jambon, and saucisson and that was much more to our liking. We bought 9 to take back home to share with our families (plus a couple extra for us), and they did an excellent job of packing the veggies separately!

I just wish that they would do the same to the ceiling and not just the base of the baguette. Fair warning, if you drop by later on in the day, close to their closing hours, the baguette may not be as moist, still somewhat crunchy though. I highly recommend going earlier on the day to catch the baguette when it's made fresh. Service is standard for this area of town. They'll prepare the baguette in less than 5 minutes and will call your name when ready. Another fair warning, this place was cash only. Come prepared.
