The last time I was here, I didn't know what to order and asked the cashier girl if their Guava Citrus Cruiser was good, and she said, "Yes! It's very POPULAR!" I trusted her.. and never again will I trust her, because that drink was just all sugar water and it tasted too too sweet!!! It just tasted bad! I would not recommend it! If you know me then you know I have a sweet tooth, and Paris baguette is the perfect choice for sweet cravings, specially cakes . The one thing I love about asian pastries / cakes / sweet breads etc. is the fact that they don't make them as sweet as the local ones. You can eat them without that much guilt haha. Plus you will be able to actually taste all the elements because they are not heavy on sugars. The place is located on satellite blvd and merchants way in Duluth GA, pretty easy to find since it's a big store. I find the middle table the best spot to sit since it's a huge wooden table that's perfect for pictures lol, joke aside it makes for a great background. My to go desserts are the strawberry shortcake, mocha cake, blueberry sponge cake, and some of their breads. The full size cakes are also perfect for any occasion, and not that expensive. read more

I stumbled across this bakery while dropping off my car for service. I don't know what I was expecting but I was shocked to see how big and beautifully designed the shop was. I grabbed a coffee and some pastries to go but I would have loved to have stayed and enjoyed the space. The pastries were delicious. The Pain au Chocolat and Brûléed Pineapple pastry were both wonderful. I wish this were closer to my house. This would be such a nice place to meet friends for coffee. read more

Bakery items are good: 5/5 stars. I felt the need to leave a comment for my most 2 recent visits to PB, including today for the checkout clerks. BEWARE and BE CAREFUL: All patrons -- please keep an eye out for how much your items are!!! I went 2 weeks ago and a male cashier rung up one of my items for the wrong price (of course for a higher price). On that visit, Justin has to do a refund and correct it. On today's visit, a girl clerk run me up for $3.50/pastry when it was actually $2.75 per pastry. When I corrected her, she looked dumbfounded and the girl next to her bagging the pastries confirmed that I was correct. Also not sure why the person bagging the items didn't say something to the cashier before I had to. PLEASE BEWARE. Always whenever we visit this location, they have good selection of bread and cakes lining up. Since the covid, their bread packed in individual bag in the showcase, so we can safely pick whichever we want. Prices are slightly higher than other similar asian bakery, but tastes are nicer, and it is worth for us to pay extra to them. This is a cute little place to come sit with friends. There is a nice selection of things to snack on and good drinks and lots of places to sit. Unfortunately, that is where the nice part of my review ends. The selection of baked items and sandwiches is limited to what time you arrive in the day as they only have an allotment of items per day, once an item is gone they do not make more. The case for some of these items is refrigerated but other items with cheese and cooked meat are all just left out on shelves unrefrigerated for hours on end. When you walk in it always smells freshly mopped but no one cleans the tables. Not once have I come in and not had to get napkins to wipe crumbs and spilled drinks off a table before I can sit down. Yet the employees behind the counter have more than enough time to stand together and stare at their phones when there are no customers at the register. They also appear to be anti-computer. They have WiFi but if you come in to sit and work on your computer you are limited to your computer's battery life as there are no plugs. There is one single outlet by a window with a tiny table that is not big enough for a computer and papers at the same time and it is just a single plug, the other half is used for the open sign. On top of the lack of power outlets, the WiFi also blocks a ridiculous amount of websites. Review websites (trip advisor, yelp), shopping websites (Amazon, Best Buy, etc), travel websites, automotive websites, and even restaurant websites including their own are all blocked. Back in the early days of WiFi, it was not uncommon to encounter a public WiFi that blocked high bandwidth usage sites like Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu (they block these too) but with more availability of faster connections you don't see that much anymore. Makes doing anything online other than scrolling Facebook almost impossible since you can google something but the chances of the website you need being blocked is incredibly high. read more

Orange Velvet Tea is back on the menuuu! I completely quit coming due to this tea being taken off. Haha. Love their velvet teas. If you're looking for something refreshing and sweet check em out! This PB is pretty large in comparison to the other on Buhi. Tons of seating and lots of good sandwich options. I believe there are more sandwich options here than the smaller location. Same amount of pastries though. Sweets tend to be a little pricier than other bake shops, but it seems the quality is better. I'm a fan of the Pair Baguette bakeries....they seem to know how to keep things on the up and up....everything I've ever had and I've had about 80% of the items on their menu over the past few years....has been pretty good... Now I'm not crazy about their coffee drinks only because I think Asian style coffee tends to be too weak for my taste...I need caffeine baby!! Their pastries is self serve for the most part unless you want a slice of cake which I recommend...their fruit sponge cakes are pretty good...and as Helen H. has mentioned you wanna get here as early as you can before all the good stuff is gone esp on the weekends...where it's crazy packed but I've never had a hard time finding seatings here...parking yes...parking is a big pain in my behind most of the time in Atlanta but hey that's a whole nother yelp entry.... Now we have been to this one a few times, and it has been very good. But lately, I have received spoiled items (Cheese Cake, and other Cakes), and the Manager looked at us like we were crazy so I view this as Poor Management, Poor Service, Bad Food, and a lack of what is required in the Food Industry and a Restaurant for that matter... This is only the second time I've been to this location. We always go to the one of off of Buford hwy. I love the fruit tarts, and royal pudding are my favs. I don't like the Choux Cream bun because it tastes like raw egg yolk. It kinda tastes like an egg tart. I also don't like Mr. Bear (plain, I didn't try chocolate). Mr. Bear tastes & smells too strongly of eggs. The Creme Brule tastes a lot like a Boston Creme Donut. Too sweet, not a fan. I did like the Cronut pastry, sweet like a donut flaky like a croissant. The chocolate croissant are good. The Royal Pudding is amazing, especially the mango one. The vanilla one is good too but it doesnt beat mango. I also like the cakes. I got a blueberry yogurt cake which is tart but good ($32ish). I've only been here a few times. The only photo I have is the Berry Berry Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake, both which are very good!! I'm not a sugary person, so I appreciate how the sweetness level is just right. Not too much, but not too little. My little brother didn't like it because it was not sweet enough for him. So if you're like him, it'll probably not be too great for you, but it honestly doesn't hurt to try because I believe the flavor is there! They have other pastries (sweet and/or savory) and dessert. I've eaten their Royal Pudding when I had my wisdom tooth extracted and oh my. It was delicious!! It came in a cute little glass jar (like a little souvenir). They also have teas and coffee. I tried their velvet almond tea and YUM!! Again, it wasn't too sweet which I like. So please take that into consideration. The place is very cute. Very spacious and well lit. Velvet tea. It will change your life! I really have enjoyed my time at the Paris Baguette cafe each time I visited. The first was a Seoul of the South Tour and so many goodies to try out. Everything is delicious. Love the fruit and egg tarts, the crispy croissants that flake and melt in your mouth. My favorite is the velvet tea. It will blow your mind. Pro tip: get a beverage card - while not cheap, it eases the price hit for the velvet tea craving. The second visit was in between appointments I had. Perfect to spread out my papers on the tables, grab a coffee and get some work done away from my desk and not in the same old crowded coffee shops. The third we brought some friends amd family and it was fun to spread out in a large or smaller group. Just remember sitting for a while on hard benches can wear you out. Out of all the bakeries I've been to, Paris Baguette probably has the freshest and largest number of goods provided to its customers. Before I started working from home, every morning on my way to work I would stop by the bakery for a fresh fruit pastry. I love this bakery because its so different from all the other shops I've shopped at. Its like the Starbucks of Bakeries lol. This place is really big for a bakery, they a bountiful supply of seating and free wifi. Well, everything is pretty! That was my take from the exterior to the dining area of Paris Baguette. Credit where it's due...every pastry here is very beautiful to look at, and the bright lights in each display case makes everything look wonderful. If you've been to any Asian inspired bakery, you know the deal....grab a tray, grab some tongs, get a little sheet for your tray and start picking treats out of their respective cubes. I window shopped for quite a while but put on my tray the following: Cream cheese pie - $2.10 Maple Hand pie - $3.25 Peppermint Mocha (12 oz) - $3.95 The Cream cheese pie had a pretty flaky crust with granulated sugar sprinkled on the outside of it, and a little bit of cream cheese filling inside. Shaped like a triangle, I thought the flavor was just okay and not very cream cheesy. The Maple hand pie honestly was something i've never seen before. A three layer "pie", each layer had a cracker, covered with a maple honey cream. The very top layer is covered with powdered sugar and a single pecan halve. I had to pull this apart before I bit down on it, but the crackers gave way very easy to my bite, and the cream was pretty smooth and not heavy on the maple flavor. I liked this one. The peppermint mocha I tried was not the best one i've had. I would have liked to have had a stronger peppermint flavor, but that wasn't the case with this drink. For the price of it, I would've expected a little more. That ultimately becomes the problem with Paris Baguette for me. You see the price of each item, and you just kinda expect things to taste a little better for the premium. If each item were 1/3 less in price, Paris would easily have four stars, because i'd think, what great value! But everything is just okay for what i'm paying (which ended up being 10 bucks for a couple of pastries and a small drink) Will I come back? Maybe. Customer service was nice enough and I do like the interior of the store. There are a few savory items to order as well if sweets aren't your thing, and parking isn't a problem with a nice sized lot. Excellent presentation, decent flavors, high(er) prices, but with such stiff competition literally all around Paris Baguette however, it may be a while before I get back here. read more

It's only by coincidence that I discovered this place. Georgia French Bakery was closed & Paris Baguette was nearby, so suddenly there I was! With a name like Paris, I was under the impression (wrongly) that they offered French style goods. But no, I was wrong - it's not French. Try Korean! For this girl on her 1st visit, I had no idea where to start. And no one seemed to be aware of my forthcoming misstep & no one really offered to guide me through the set-up & flow at this seemingly friendly cafe. Well I thought it was friendly, maybe not! Lol! I was able to look around & deduce my next step would be to pick up a tray & a pair of tongs. I then looked at the various display cases, seeing who, I mean what!, I wanted to take home with me! I finally selected 2 pastries & when I was done, I didn't know where to go. Sit down? Do I pay at the table? I went to the center & noticed salads & sandwiches. The salads & sandwiches were all already prepared & packaged, which dampened my enthusiasm to try one. Regardless, I ordered the "Fresh" salad with tuna salad & julienned veggies. When I finally interacted with staff, they weren't the most helpful nor were they particularly polite. Whatev. I paid for my order & found a table. I sat down & delved into my generic pre-prepared salad - it was as basic as a salad as you can get. Unfortunately, nothing struck me as really good, must have, would return for. Even the baked goods - I already know they're less sweet than what my American palate is accustomed to, but I was ready to try new things & hopefully like them. I got some kind of a cheese croissant, which was - highly textured (with sugar coating), light, yet crumbly / flaky. The interior was laced with cream cheese, which gave it a nice oomph & really helped gel all the flavors. To my chagrin, I didn't get a specialty coffee or a bubble tea. To be honest, I didn't feel like the young girls behind the counter wanted to be bothered to do their jobs & explain the drink choices to an unknowing customer (who may become your best patron if you treat me better!!!!). They're loss. I'll get them elsewhere. I got a simple water & found an open seat. I want to like this place, I do, but there's something inside my being that disagrees. I'll see if I can get them to reconcile so I can go back. If not, well hey, these types of places are a dime a dozen around here & all around BuHi, so I won't be missing out. If I can get better service elsewhere, so be it. But I might be willing to give Paris Baguette the opportunity to redeem themselves. A manager &/or owner should be aware of their hits & misses & take steps to try to rectify a problem when it exists. You literally see if on every corner there and it was a favorite spot to grab a cake for friend's birthdays and that is why I was pumped to go to Paris Baguette in Duluth. I was not disappointed. The chocolate cake I was got was phenomenal. The worst part was wanting to eat everything and not being able to possibly eat it all! I would come here all the time if I lived in Georgia. Honestly, I always felt Paris Baguette was a bit pricey but I do like their pastries and flavors. A few of my friend's favorite Korean bakery is Paris Baguette compared to the others. Please do not compare it to Sweet Hut cause pastries are totally different! I mean I do like Sweet Hut more but do not compare apples and oranges. Not all Asians look alike. I also felt that Duluth location had more to offer. I mean, why not? It is a lot bigger. I didn't have a problem with any customer service. They weren't dressed up like cute mimes like in Chamblee but they were fine. Yes, they could be friendlier. I agree with that but no one gave me attitude. They did their jobs. Oh boy this place is pretty! I'm an avid PB lover and will come here in a heartbeat just for their strawberry cream croissant, which is what I recommend to everyone to try. But only when you want to indulge yourself and are willing to pay a couple dollars more than other bakeries around Duluth. I haven't really tried anything else other than their croissants, royal puddling and ice lattes. Only because I'm scared to try anything else! I've had their cakes before, I think it was the green tea flavor, and it was amaaaaazing. You'd have to sell an arm and leg to purchase one though, at least I would have to. Parking is ample but it can get packed at night and especially during the weekends. Service is friendly and I've been here a few times to say that I haven't had bad service. New study place maybe? Only if you don't need outlets because I've only seen one towards the wall. Maybe there's more but I haven't found them. Tried studying here once and couldn't get the same atmosphere as Vincent bakery or white windmill. The pastries are great, but the service is awful. My boyfriend and I used to go here often because of the pastries, but the service is consistently disappointing. I've called to order cakes -- no one picks up after multiple tries. I've ordered pastries and asked for water, only to be given a very small cup and told that they can't provide a larger one. Offering water to your customers is just good business practice, especially if they're loyal and come back! Not to mention, we've visited on many Saturday nights only to find that they're completely sold out by 8 p.m., well before their listed closing time. The employees just rolled their eyes at us when we entered and put the few pastries they had left away. To say that the service is lackluster is an understatement. A cronut is their croissant donuts. - maple/lemon cronut ( $4.25 each ) - royal pudding ( $4.25 ) - iced vanilla latte ($4.45 ) My friends got the - milk tea ( $5.40 ) - organic mango smoothie ( $4.90 ) Everything was pretty pricy. The milk tea was just alright for her. Too bitter. The mags smoothie was probably her favorite. Tasted like a lot of mango syrup to me. But she just likes that it wasn't watered down and actually tasted like a fruit. My first time trying the cronuts and it was so greasy. Omg, my whole plate was drenched with oil. I took one bite of the maple and I was done. It was waaaayyyyyyy too sweet for me. It did have a nice texture to the bite. Flaky like a croissant. But it is not for me. The royal pudding was just okay. I should've listened to the cashier and gotten the mango one. It tasted like the cream puffs but with out the puff. I couldn't finish that either. My vanilla latte was the only upside. Not too sweet and not too bitter. If you're the type to like your coffee's sweet then you may was to ask them for an extra pump or so of it. From the wide range of seatings from family benches in the back to window and upholstered seats, PB provides the classic environment for families or friends dropping by for a coffee or students coming in to get some work done. Even the savory treats as well as the classic French desserts are simply average. However, the customer service is consistently bright and cordial, and the atmosphere inside is always jazzy and radiant. This location is close to my house and I have already been there a couple of times. There is a wide range of pastries, cakes and drinks. On my recent visit, I tried their newest addition, the cloud shaved ice, which is really good! It's a bit difficult to eat without spilling at first but it's good size for 1-2 people. I will admit a bit more pricey compared to the bingsu in other cafes which are similar in price but bingsu usually are bigger with more variety of toppings. In general, their items are pricier but well made and tastes great! Some items like the parfaits are sometimes sold out and no longer available later in the afternoon. I have stopped by once specifically for the mango parfaits and all of their flavors were out! Their interior is very spacious with free wifi and plenty of outlets. For some reason my wife had a huge craving for cake tonite so I decide to make a stop at PB. This is the second locations and the others one is in Buford hwy. I went around 9pm and the place was dead. There was a table with some old folks hanging out so that tell you the sad atmosphere. The place is really big and bright and set up beautifully but for some reason I didn't feel like hanging out here like I do at sweet hut. I guess because it is located behind the ghost town Gwinnett Place and it felt kinda creepy outside and not much activity. So when we walk in they were in the process of closing. My wife went to the glass case to pick her dessert and was shock how much it cost. Most of the cake slices were $5 and up and she had a huge craving. I told her to buy 2 slices but she felt it was a better value to buy a whole cake. So we ended up buying a $36 green tea cake. Even though we brought the cake just to eat it they gave us birthday candles so we had a fake birthday for my daughter. They also sell sandwiches and pastry. The pastry and sandwiches look amazing but taste awful. The sandwiches are all serve cold and the pastry taste like old bread. I think they reuses the pastry from the previous day that why it taste so stale. The guy who was cleaning the case was putting the pastry into a basket instead of the trash so that they could reuse it the next day. I just come here for the cakes but for everything else go to the others dozen asian bakery near here. Enjoy read more

Beautiful new cafe that opened up very close to my house. Bread is pretty pricey. I love the ambiance. It's very bright and open with ample seating for parties of all sizes. Staff is ok-- adequately friendly. Free wifi is available and works pretty well. I had a black sesame latte with almond milk. Not impressed and paid around $5. Also got a tiramisu cream puff. The outside was flaky and hard. The inside was filled with regular cream. Didn't get much coffee/tiramisu flavor and consistency wasn't good. Would not order this again. Cost around $3. Good experience wasn't good. Prices seemed high. Music was kind of loud. Seating around perimeter includes very small tables, and those are the only ones with outlets. Two stars is for the awesome space and great wifi. The rest of the experience wasn't good. read more
