I'm hesitant to give this place a 4. It lives as 3.5 in my heart but honestly I'm pretty biased because I do love this chain in South Korea. This PB is the second PB in Georgia (following a third location set to open in Dunwoody later this year!) and it's also the biggest location. Considering how big the brand is in Korea, when they first opened, I always get excited. The thing that I like about PB is that their breads and cakes are made fresh in house. I believe the dough is pre-made and shipped from the headquarters, but PB is known to have amazing bread. Their bread does taste good, but over the last few years, the selection has gradually decreased. There was COVID and also the bread was pretty pricy as it has a brand value, causing locals to find other bakeries for their baked goods. I do really enjoy their loaf bread, cakes as well as their Korean donuts, so sometimes I do go to purchase those. Unfortunately, considering the size of the cafe, their drink selection is very limited.. and it is frankly not that good. Their coffee is honestly not good at all; the only good drinks are the iced velvet tea. I also tried the matcha latte; it wasn't bad but just alright. This is a chain and I've visited locations in Duluth and Doraville. They have croissants and different types of Danish etc.,, danish with sweet potato or green pea fillings, little cake or tart deserts as well as delicious breads. Nice fresh sandwich as well. My favorite place to go get Cakes. My favorite is blueberry cake and Cheesecake, Cream Cheese Pastry & Green tea cake. I do not recommend drinks here, unless simple coffee. Still one of the largest and prettiest cafes in the area; however, a group of girlfriends and I were disappointed on our last visit. We went last week on a week night well before they closed for some desserts and coffee. I arrived about an 1 hr and 45 minutes before they were closing. Noticed that most of their pastries were sold out along with a number of single sliced cakes/desserts. Their cakes are really good here by the way. The drinks are hit or miss and tends to hug the sweeter side. The employees could use a refresher customer service and closing procedures training. One of our friends came in a little later than us and when she was placing her order at the counter she was asked if it's for here or to go. She said it was for here and the person taking her order proceeded to tell her that they were closing soon... On top of that while we were hanging out there in the evening/night some of the workers started cleaning up (brooding and putting up some of the chairs on top of the tables) in the dining area. Thought that was a bit tacky and disruptive to start their closing procedures way before they were closed. Then when it came to be 10 pm or close to that they turned off the lights in the cafe. Not joking. We took that cue that it was time to leave. Who wouldn't? Lol. As soon as we walked out they promptly locked the front doors. Not joking again. Times like this I really wish the owners or a manager was there... someone that's invested in the business and would operate in a better business manner. I doubt the owners know their employees are cleaning up while it's still business hours as well as abruptly closing up near or right at 10 pm (weeknights) Although I was impressed with their cleaning procedures, it was not a memorable cafe or a good customer experience. Hope they don't continue their cleaning process/closing time tasks before they are actually closed. If not, perhaps they should change their operating hours to 30 min-1 hour earlier. Amazing how they transformed the Talbots Outlet into something so much more inviting and delicious :) I like that their space is more open compared to their Buford Hwy cafe, esp. the seating area and more conducive for larger group meetups. As the other reviews mention, the selection may be better on the weekends. And they are made fresh - you can see them making the pastries behind the display cases. I love just window shopping their desserts -- they're almost too beautiful to eat but those feelings don't last long, lol. A couple recent favorites are the sweet potato pastries that are long and kinda twisty, and the croissant with fresh strawberries & cream. I'v always been a fan of their Velvet Almond Iced Tea too. I am always looking for a good pastry and bakery shop. There are not many around. I have had a terrible experience with Mozzart bakery shop and I have stayed away from it. This Paris Baguette is not any better. I bought an 8" Mocha cake for almost $50 and it wasn't worth a damn. It was a total rip off. When I picked up the box , I felt it was so light and I thought what did they put in it that was worth $50? It was a tasteless light and puffy pastry with no flavor with some lightly flavored butter in between and on too. The cake was also poorly designed and decorated. A $15 cale at Costco could have been more satisfying. Almost eveybody in our party took a bite and left the rest on their plate. I am going to stay away from this pastry shop as well and I think you should too until they get their act together. read more

I'm actually sitting here right now "working from home". This is probably the biggest Korean bakery/cafe I've ever been to. There is ample seating (high seats with stools and cute circle tables and comfortable seats along the windows and plenty of tables and chairs in the middle. This is carb heaven. They have so many options for bakery items and drinks. The cake display is calling out to me, but I must resist, as I know I can finish it in one day. I'm enjoying a delicious large chai latte (~$5), which isn't really large, but it will do. So I came to this place being really skeptical. I seen it's like most pastry joints that's popped up around here. But upon checking it out I see it's a well established business. So it's standards are up there in quality. Going for 70 years it has to be really good and it is. A bit more open floored and brighter then Hansel and Gretel. Paris Baguette is a chain so they're kind of everywhere, but they're pretty consistent. Their pastries are a bit expensive, but I think it's good for a once in a while treat! Over the years, I've tried a lot of different pastries from Paris Baguette but for this one location specifically, I've only had their mini croissants and their cakes. My favorite is their Mocha Cake! I love coffee flavored pastries so this one really hits home for me. When we pre-ordered one for Mother's Day, they even gave us a rose when we picked it up. Great place for working or hanging out, but I've never stayed long enough to sit. I usually take my treats to go. I've tried a few of their pastries and coffee. My go to is usually a macaron and a cappuccino. I get the macaron for the large size more than the actual flavor. Most of the pastries I tried I really enjoyed. The coffee is decent, too. The original location on Buford Highway was a stretch, so everyone in the Duluth Koreatown area is grateful to have PB now at an arm's reach. Paris Baguette is known for their attention to detail, and strict quality guidelines. Their flavors, while still catering to the Korean palette, are more influenced by European tastes. Where not everything is sweet, and real butter is used as opposed to margarine. Here, you can buy a true croissant or baguette and not even know that the chain originates from East Asia. PB's design aesthetic and branding is also top notch, always hailing a clean palette or white and cobalt blue. You will notice as soon as you enter their locations the cleanliness, special interior design, and product design. Their cakes are beautiful and their packaging inspires you to buy more. Marketing all things European, even down to PB chocolate bars for sale imported from Belgium. This location is almost as large as the Flushing location, wrapping around the corner lot of a strip mall near the parking lot of Gwinnett Place Mall off of Satellite Blvd. They open at 8:00AM, just in time for some awesome breakfast and loading up on carbs to take home for the day or week. I visit PB for all of the below, not even kidding: - Thick sliced breads- specifically their loafs of butter bread and their loaf of sweet potato bread (go-gu-ma). - Croissants - plain, garlic, fruity, chocolate--- all are great - Curry Pan- soft rolls stuffed with curry - Savory items- there is always something new. Some form of sausage bread or sliced egg on toast covered in cheese is what I go for. - Rice Flour Donuts- balls of chewy goodness, coated in cinnamon and sugar, sometimes filled with cream cheese. - Teas and coffees- their most popular being their Americano, but my favorite drink here is their iced Almond Silk Tea (black sweet tea with a cream top). I love this location! There is so much more space than the Buford Highway spot! This is a great place to catch up with a friend, grab a snack, or get some work done. On my most recent visit, I had a paper to write. I needed a spot that had plenty of seats (I don't want to hog space if it is limited) and lots of caffeine to help keep me motivated. This place fit the bill. It's easy to get to with plenty of parking. When I walked in, there were several tables occupied, but lots were available, too. Today, I had one of my favorites - the almond velvet iced tea. It really is a special drink - I absolutely love it. I also tried to the taro bubble tea. It was good, but not my favorite. I'll be sticking with the velvet tea going forward, In fact, I want to try the orange velvet tea, but the almond is so good, I never want to stray from it. All of the pastries are fantastic. I have never had a bad one. Today, I had the blueberry mini-pastry. I am also a HUGE fan of the royal pudding. For working, I think it is a pretty good space. If you are bothered by noise, you will definitely want to take headphones. It gets a bit noisy. Paris Baguette opened its second Southeast location in Duluth, Atlanta's Koreatown, in July 2016. In size, it's significantly bigger than Georgia's first Paris Baguette which opened on Buford Highway in Doraville in January 2014. For those that don't know, Paris Baguette is a French-themed bakery-cafe chain with thousands of locations in South Korea and hundreds abroad including many in the US. I love the clean and modern look of this brand. Its stores are bright and shiny and the workers wear neat French baker-inspired uniforms with pinstriped aprons and standard-issue berets. This location in Duluth looks fantastic. The inside is one large, open, and almost cavernous space with plenty of seating, making it a great place for group meetups. There's a variety of seating options from cute and intimate two-top tables with cushioned button chairs to a sizable wooden communal table with matching bench seating. The floors are tile or polished concrete. Big exterior windows allow lots of natural light in while several interior windows show off the kitchen and bakery in the back. Most of what Paris Baguette sells is made in-house, though I believe some items are shipped from a distributor. Examples of these may include the prepackaged stuff you see on the tables such as truffle gift boxes, cookie canisters, fruit jam, and individual bagged portions of cheesecake. That's not to say they're bad, but just something to note. Like other Asian bakery-cafes, Paris Baguette has a self-serve system for obtaining pastries. You get a tray, line it with paper, and use tongs to grab what you want. If you're getting your pastries to go, the staff will box and bag up your items at checkout. The self-serve display cases have all sorts of fresh-baked breads and pastries like baguettes (various), croissants, loaves of bread (various types like milk, multigrain, and raisin bread), donuts, buns, muffins, and croquettes. One of Paris Baguette's most popular pastries is the croissant donut (cronut). If you get one thing here, it should be the cronut. They have different kinds and they're delicious (though heavy). There are also savory items like the sausage stick bread which is similar to a glorified corn dog. The refrigerated display cases contain sweet treats such as flan and individual servings of pudding (e.g. mango and royal flavors at $3.95 per individual serving), three-packs of macarons (raspberry, blueberry, and coconut for $4.25), cheese souffle cake ($2.25 for a single serving), red velvet cupcakes ($4.25 each), and rose grand macarons ($2.75 each). I've ordered or had cake from both Georgia locations of Paris Baguette and the cakes consistently look and taste good. From this location, I've had Green Tea Blueberry Cake, which I recommend. The cafe also sells packaged grab-and-go sandwiches. They're made fresh daily and include sandwiches such as a spicy Crab Salad Sandwich (made with imitation crab and wasabi, $6.50), a Crunch Sandwich (made with coconut crunch bread and ham, $5.95), a Caesar Chicken Baguette Sandwich and a Tuna Baguette Sandwich. Both baguette sandwiches are relatively new additions. They're $6.95 each and can be toasted by the staff. Beverage-wise, Paris Baguette offers a nice variety of espresso-based coffee drinks and different types of coffee brews as well as teas, frappes, smoothies, and seasonal selections like Peppermint Mocha, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, and Pumpkin Spice Latte. Most drinks come in 16 or 20 ounce sizes, hot or iced, and cost about $4-6 each. I recommend one of the Velvet Iced Teas, either the Almond or Orange. Both are quite smooth, tasty, and refreshing. I've also had the Green Tea Frappe (made with soy milk) at this location and enjoyed it. Service is fine. Store hours are Sunday-Thursday, 8am-10pm, and Friday-Saturday, 8am-11pm. It's better to visit during the daytime. At night, most of the day's stock has been sold and won't be refilled until the following day. During one trip after 9pm, remaining pastries had been relegated, unlabeled, to one corner of the display case. They are ideal for drinks, cakes, and other pastries. The interior is spacious and large. The open space design gives it a very free and welcoming atmosphere. Whoa, this place is huge! Nice, open seating area, clean and white throughout - very modern and chic! I am a regular patron of the Doraville location but after eating dinner in the area, my girlfriend and I decided to patron this location. Immediately I noticed the contrast: for one, this location is double (maybe triple??) the size of the intimate Doraville location. At 9pm on a Saturday, it was still very busy with many patrons at their tables. Another thing I immediately noticed and loved about this location is their display cases -- all the pastries are encased and not exposed to air and germs. A++ for this one. The layout of the cafe is not intuitive. Once walking in, go past the middle of the dining room to reach the far back counter of the display case. From there, grab a tray and tongs if you're purchasing a self-serve pastry, or continue walking to their cooler of refrigerated cakes. Next stop is the register where you'll order your drinks and pay for your treats and after that is the pickup area. Scattered throughout are tables of random items you may also purchase, such as a Paris Baguette insulated tumbler, or different baked pastries. I'm sure this layout helps with the flow of traffic and keeps everyone in line when they get busy, but the cafeteria line style of service is not my preference. My girlfriend and I tried a variety of treats: a condensed milk toast, cheesecake, and the usual Very Berry Cake. I accompanied my treats with my favorite PB drink, the Orange Velvet Iced Tea. The treats were delicious! Even so late at night, everything seemed fresh satisfied our sweets cravings. Came here for Christmas cake and Paris baguette didn't disappoint. We got the chocolate cake house and it was super cute. The lady fingers were crispy and light but unfortunately the cream was very mediocre and the cake itself was a little too light and fluffy. Skin is crispy and flaky with right amount of chocolate filling. The sausage pastry thing is good also, instead of regular bread they use croissant type of pastry. The castella is spongy and not over sweet. Soft cream red bean brioche on the other hand I found it a bit too sweet for me. Been to many of Paris baguette location both in LA and ATL. By far this location I think has the biggest venue. High ceiling with lot of table seatings. Big windows hence it feels spacious and bright inside. I've never try their drinks menu, I heard good and bad reviews on it. I am solely here for their pastries but I might try their drinks menu next time. Price wise I think it's a bit pricey. So I can officially say I've been to all the major cafe's and bakeries of Asian Pleasant Hill Road. I am going to compare Paris Baguette vs. Mozart vs. White Windmill vs. Sweet Hut vs. Sweet Rice etc etc based on the following caterories: clientiele, bang for buck, quality of ingredients, staff/hospitality, and novelty of creations. Short summary: An upper scale Boutique bakery that serves Parisian like pastries minus the true Parisan Baguette that seeks to serve the Bougie group of people, staffed with friendly looking Eflian Manga looking staff, and pricy pastries that def get a A for winning aesthetics and creativity. Clientele: usually a more chic, bougie kind of crowd of people ranging from all girls fancy tea time to middle aged couples with children and def popular. It attracts a higher end crowd compared to the rest of the bakeries on Pleasanthill. And it is the best staffed and most busy out of all the places. People are more likely to buy and sit vs. Sweet Hut where a lot of people just sit. Quality: Ingredients are fancier and the goods are aesthetically more pleasing- this store put more time into making their goods look European and Paris like- now if only they had the REAL baguettes they had at Paul in Paris. Then they'd win. So that's why I gave them a 4/5. Of course the crowd this place caters to, 35$ is probably ok. I imagine it's still kinda stale cake inside with lots of cream on top to look good since cream preserves the inside staleness longer- a trick I learned from people who work in all 5 bakeries. Breads are ok priced. you can get the pretty breads for about 3$ or4$ each and this stuff looks like it can keep you full for a few hours so not too bad. Staff/Hospitality: Generally friendly group of people- they have that delicate European manners that go along with the kind of bread they are going for. Not the messy highschooler in t shirt and messy hair kind of staff. Usually Elfian features Asian girls with Manga looking males as their main get up. Novelty of creations: A plus. The art and toppings on this stuff is pretty commendable; a little safe on the novelty of taste. This place didn't reinvent the wheel in terms of taste. White Windmill, Paris Baguette, Mozart all have similar European light buttery tastes with fruit tarts. But the art here on foods wins over the others. read more

This location is so much more spacious than the Buford Hwy location! The interior is beautiful and clean. Lots of seating, including for big groups! This is my new study spot. Free wifi and a couple of plug ins on the outer window wall seating. On weekdays they aren't busy so this is a great spot to get homework done, especially since they don't really blast loud music. Don't let the prettiness fool you lol. I've decided I'm not so fond of their pasties. Very many pretty pastries lined up in glass box displays, it's easy to want to grab one of each! I saw the coffee cronut and knew I had to have one. I mean, being a coffee lover I didn't think I would be disappointed, right? Think of it as a croissant and a donut having a baby, then filled with coffee creme. Sounds good, huh lol. Anyways, I took one bite and had to quickly set it down on a stack of napkins - it was saturated in oil. I opted to drink my coffee and 20 mins later looked at the cronut and to my surprise, it had this hugeee oil ring around it! I checked to see how many folded napkins the oil seeped through and I counted 6. Sorry for being too descriptive, I've just never bit into a pastry full of oil before lol. Needless to say I chucked that thing in the trash. That was a waste of $4.25. I hear their shaved ice is really good here. I believe it, mainly because that's all I see ppl eating here! I got the vanilla latte and tiramisu. The cafe looked really cool. Nice interior with lots of seating. I wouldn't study here because it's too loud. The tiramisu was good. Thanks vanilla latte tasted way too sweet at first then tasted a bit bitter. It's a bit pricey. read more

This is a bigger space as compared to its other outlets. Parking was ample and huge seating space. There were no covid measures that I saw being followed inside the store. There was no mask mandate followed, everyone was using same tongs and trays, no tray sheets or disposable gloves were kept. No was wiping the tables after customers were leaving. From covid aspect I did not feel safe to visit again. Everything is displaced, you can keep whatever you want on your tray and go directly for billing. Most of the things I tried were not fresh. Cream over the cakes had dried up making it look not fresh. Most of the bakery items were in the range of 2.99 however their version of Cronut was 4.99. Exorbitant price which is not worth it. It was soggy, no visible flaky layers, full of oil with no flavor. My hands were full of oil after taking a bite. Billing was done promptly. read more

Modern interior , fairly spacious seating inside , so it's a convenient place to grab what you want and sit down and eat.they provide trays and tongs , you grab whatever pastry you want and load it into your tray take it up to the counter and pay.
