Yummy pastry and cakes! Friendly staff, I am always greeted with professional customer service and smiles.

For some reason my wife had a huge craving for cake tonite so I decide to make a stop at PB. This is the second locations and the others one is in Buford hwy. I went around 9pm and the place was dead. There was a table with some old folks hanging out so that tell you the sad atmosphere. The place is really big and bright and set up beautifully but for some reason I didn't feel like hanging out here like I do at sweet hut. I guess because it is located behind the ghost town Gwinnett Place and it felt kinda creepy outside and not much activity. So when we walk in they were in the process of closing. My wife went to the glass case to pick her dessert and was shock how much it cost. Most of the cake slices were $5 and up and she had a huge craving. I told her to buy 2 slices but she felt it was a better value to buy a whole cake. So we ended up buying a $36 green tea cake. Even though we brought the cake just to eat it they gave us birthday candles so we had a fake birthday for my daughter. They also sell sandwiches and pastry. The pastry and sandwiches look amazing but taste awful. The sandwiches are all serve cold and the pastry taste like old bread. I think they reuses the pastry from the previous day that why it taste so stale. The guy who was cleaning the case was putting the pastry into a basket instead of the trash so that they could reuse it the next day. I absolutely love the open space and the minimalism! I think this may be the largest Korean bakery in Duluth. LOTS of seating! There is a wide selection of pastries! I tried 3 or 4 pastries and thought they were all delicious. But man...those prices. It might be worth it the first time but I don't think I can justify paying that much for a tiny pastry. My mom wanted to try their egg salad sandwich which was tasty but again SO EXPENSIVE. Paris Baguette would definitely get a 5 star if it wasn't for the price. read more

This place was huge and well lit! The pastry and treat selections seem to be about the same amount compare to their Buford location though. Nothing seemed super unique. I did see some new items like the jars of jams. It seems like the crowd here are for the drinks versus baked goods and due to the new-ness of this location. Drinks: by far it's good. Sandwiches: they say they offer "fresh" sandwiches, but they are not made to the orders. They are pre-made and prepackaged in a cellphone bags. Ambience: they are vying. Spacious, and jazz is being played. Nice. Pricing: breads are good, but super overpriced. I picked a large latte and 4 breads, and that's $16. My absolute favorite Korean Bakery in town. This location is huge compared to the Buford Hwy location. However, there is only one outlet in the entire place! How can a place be so big, but have no outlets?? You can get some work or do some studying but the music is pretty loud. I usually zone it out by listening to my own music. There are so many food items to choose from, including sweets pastries, savory pastries, salads, and sandwiches. My favorite drink is the caramel macchiato. I love how strong their coffee is. I have ordered the coconut mango cake & the chocolate cake from here before. Very interesting cakes. I still prefer the green tea cake over the rest of the cakes. These cakes are delicious. They are absolutely gorgeous and so light and airy. If you are a fan of very delicate Cates with a whipped cream frosting these are perfect. The strawberry is the best. Unfortunately one star is lost for the chocolate cake because it just wasn't quite as flavorful as I had hoped id would be. read more

We've been going to Paris Baguette for years back in California. So there is a bias in my review. This location is very spacious, crew is courteous and fast. Cold water on the side wall. Lots of windows. Comfortable chairs. The window seats are perfect for toddlers, far enough from disrupting other customers. There is a changing table in the very clean restroom. Yay! 80s music play in the background. Not as big a selection as the other locations. I asked why everything is pre-wrapped and the reply was it's for our convenience. I fail to see why we need all that plastic. The dining area is spacious and inviting so I'm likely to linger and enjoy my pastry here. The baked goods smell lovely. Why use so much plastic wrap? If it's for my convenience, grocery stores leave a stack of plastic bags on the side (Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc) and I can wrap on my own. Similar to donut shops. I personally enjoyed their bread. Between my husband and I we ordered 5 different things. A turkey sandwich, a king cream donut, strawberry filled donut, pizza, and a sausage and pepper pastry, and the bread was some of the best I've ever tasted. But the reason for the cup was because the tea was suppose to be iced but not wanting to make a fuss I just got a separate cup of ice. She gave me a tiny cup and didn't say anything to me at all. So me and my friends came to visit Duluth and enjoy the yummy food around the area and let me tell you how amazing this place is. It's selection style so you grab a tray and tongs, choose what pastries you want and head to the register. I loved this serve yourself type, I didn't know what I wanted so I went back and forth with out the hassle of annoying the cashiers with being indecisive lol. The coffee is amazing too we got the caramel latte and it was to die for. The pasties alone speak for themselves which means that are so worth it! Very reasonably priced for the size of the items too. It's a must see place too. The esthetics are great. Very simple and laid back vibe, high ceilings, large windows and natural lighting( great for photos!). read more

I've been to this location on two separate occasions. It's nice and spacious inside. Lots of room and seating as well. The first time I came here, I tried the lemon cronut. It was tasty, but very very greasy. My boyfriend got the apple pastry which kind of resembles a mini apple pie. He really enjoyed it. On our second trip, I had a hankering for tiramisu which was our reason for coming. The tiramisu cup isn't very big. However, it was really delicious, but a bit pricey (about $6.00). I really this new Paris Baguette location more the Doraville location. Not only is it larger in size, but it has free wifi unlike the Doraville location. I also like this location as it's very bright and clean inside. Lots of parking. There are varying sizes of tables to fit parties of 1 to 20. The very large table has a reserved sign for large parties. I like that they provide complimentary water that you can help yourself to at the condiment bar. My usual orders: - Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake Slice: very light cake. Not too sweet. My favorite cake. - Green Tea Fresh Cream Cake Slice: if they run out of the strawberry fresh cream cake, I would then go for the green tea version. It's just as good. - House Coffee: pretty standard coffee. Hot and fresh. You can add sugar and cream (milk, half & half, skim, etc) at the condiment bar. Today is the first time I went check out this location of Paris Baguette. - Drink: I got the Orange Velvet Green Tea and I loved it. The whipped cream on top tasted like orange flavor and I kept wondering how they can make it like that. Definitely loved it!! My husband got Tropical Smoothies and I tried it and it was good too. - Space: I like the space here a lot. Many seatings offered and the ambience was definitely nice for a person like me who loves bringing computer to work and read at a coffee shop. High open ceiling with cement floor is definitely my taste. - Service: the guy that took our order was generally nice and attentive. I'm always a big fan of Paris Baguette but the customer service this time really let me down. Came to pick up a birthday cake on Wednesday ( 9/30) around 6:00pm. I asked a cashier ( young skinny guy with really long hair) what if they still had another cake flavors.He gave me attitude and seemed like unhappy to answer. He rudely responded YES-NO!. He gave me the birthday cake with a BAD and UNACCEPTABLE behavior .I don't care what if he was in a bad mood but I don't think that how customer service was supposed to be. This is a well appointed institution that has wide variety for different snacks and beverages. It is way more of a pastry shop rather than a coffeehouse. I started out with an earl grey latte, which I enjoyed. I did forget which tea shop that it was sourced from. They did not use the cheap tea bags that we are all familiar with, this one had the nice silk-like packaging, allowing the tea oils to fully seep through. I've also been here on separate occasions, enjoying things such as the mango slushies. I found these much better than the competitor's versions, this one definitely did not taste of artificial mangos and was quite convincing. Baked goods were alright. I had the mascarpone cheesecake version of tiramisu. It was alright and slightly in my opinion overpriced. I did appreciate their attempts to innovate. Can't say much for the rest of the baked goods, but I they do have tons of variety so everyone should be satisfied. Service is good especially for the baked goods. They do not hesitate to package everything quickly. Everything is quite clean as well. Parking is slightly tight but should be OK. Bottom line: it's alright for the beverages! read more

I've never wrote a bad review before and I normally wouldn't do this but im really upset at how my friends were treated. Long story short. My friend was rudely accused of stealing pastries. I can see why they were confused but it could've been handled differently. Instead of politely asking to see the receipt she was accused then they threatened to check the cameras and finally demanded that she payed for it again. After all the accusations she brought up the receipt and they saw the pastry was payed for. The lady didn't offer an apology and when asked her response was "do I really have to." Worst customer service ever. I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone. I'm Korean and my friends with me were not, it was obvious that race and skin color played a role. Stopped here after dropping my car off at Gwinnett Place Honda since it's right down the road. I had the Strawberry green tea drink which was refreshing. The food is good overall, but certain pastries can be hit or miss. The egg salad sandwich is good but a bit overpriced or what it is - you're essentially paying for beautiful packaging with the meal. I really love the curry pastry and hash brown pastries the most, but if you don't get there early, they often sell out. The location is spacious and clean with nice restrooms. So mom and I are at Paris having coffee and pastries. This is a great tasting cafe we enjoy in Duluth and is quite pricey (i.e more than Starbucks). I'm very willing to pay that when they deliver on cuisine AND service. This morning my mom ordered her pastry, but just wanted a cup of ice water to go with it (she asked for a large water with ice). I ordered my ridiculously overpriced Velvet Almond Iced Tea (again it's yumminess is worth the $$$). So back to the ice water....the man behind the counter served her water in a cup about the size of a dixie cup used in bathrooms with no ice. Needless to say she politely asked him again for the large cup of ice water she ordered. He promptly told her no and that they are reserved for blended beverage orders only. So if you're going to charge $$$ for your menu items the least you can do is offer your customer the option of purchasing a cup of ice water. The only way this restaurant will do that is if you pay full price for a beverage that you're not even getting. I have a lot in life to be grateful for, but as a person and a professional I expect the same service I deliver. We are here now finishing our brunch but WILL NEVER BE BACK! My favorite item at Paris Baguette is the Mango Royal Pudding. Nice and creamy with a super tart mango filling on top. They don't always have it but I'm glad that they did today! The Berry Matcha latte is a matcha latte with a strawberry syrup, it's nice and refreshing without being overly sweet. I had a bite of the smoked sausage bread and it was really nice. Really enjoyed the bread with the sausage. The Croque Monsieur was okay. I usually love Croque monsieur but I think I'll get the sausage next time! Overall, enjoy snacks and drinks! Paris Baguette was my all time favorite cafe/ bread store. They have all the korean breads and I really enjoyed having sweet desserts there. However as I got older Paris Baguette's variety decreased. I am kinda disappointed in the bread variety and I feel like it is overpriced. The quality of the bread is still very fresh and I would recommend new customers to try it out. However, I do not see myself studying there because it is very loud. Overall I think it is an aesthetically pleasing place to go on dates and a one-on-one! read more

Paris Baguette is definitely the place to go when you're craving European-style pastries. All the baked goods I've had here have always tasted fresh. A favorite of mine are the croissants! The drinks in my opinion are just okay. I've gotten the iced green tea latte a few times and the quality has not been consistent each time. However, their cakes are always a good choice! So far I've had their strawberry and blueberry chiffon cakes on multiple occasions and they have always been delicious. Highly recommend the cakes here above everything else. Recommendations for what to get: I like their almond velvet iced tea! Except I feel like it is overpriced :'o( sweet potato twisty pastry is yummy and so are a lot of their other pastries! I've heard the cronuts are good too in the mornings, when fresh. Make sure to visit before 8pm because by 9pm a lot of the pastries are gone. Cakes are pretty good also so stop by if you wanna buy someone a cake or if you wanna eat cake just cuz :o) I did take off a few stars because sometimes I'll see flies/gnats inside the glass casings which is very gross!!!!! I assume it happens because the workers leave the casing on their side open..... I know a lot of people say this is a good study spot, but I have to disagree!!! A lot of people come here especially on weekends so it gets very loud, and since the place is big, sound echoes :/ but if you are okay with studying in noisy environments, then this might be the place for you! Paris baguette is definitely a very nice bakery hidden in a corner. My first impression of this bakery was that it was quite large and clean, definitely a "French like" Starbucks but instead of coffee it sells French pastries and goodies. I only got an egg tart and a condensed milk cake. The egg tart was about 3 dollars and the condensed milk cake was about 4 dollars. For these prices I think that Paris baguette is a pretty good place for a quick bite for a pastry and sit down talking to friends. The egg tart that I ordered was sweet and creamy definitely not what I'm used to as egg tarts come but still quite tasty. The condensed milk cake was drizzled with condensed milk and the inside was squishy and fluffy while being a little crunchy on the top. Overall, I would come here for a quieter area to sit around and enjoy French pastries. read more

I didn't want to do this.. but I'm gonna have to leave a feedback. A friend of mine traveled across the united states to meet with me and a few other people for business purposes and decided to meet up and Paris Baguette. The atmosphere was amazing and everything but while I was picking out my pastries, we saw something very unpleasant. Some short lady baker wearing white attire was being incredibly toxic. While in the middle of making her cake, she was swearing/cursing (incredible foul language) at other employees screaming and everything. Not only did it look unprofessional but we caught a glimpse of some of her spit splattering all over the cake!! What if she had a virus?? like that's just gross! I don't know what her problem is but she needs to calm down because otherwise I don't think that is very appropriate for the working environment and also a very bad sight for the customers to see. I do not want my food mixed with other people's spit and I don't think anyone else does either. We were totally grossed out so we just left and my friend who came so far away left with a very bad impression of one of my favorite places to snack at and it embarrassed me as I was the one that recommended this place for our meeting.
