Our experience with Pardini Appliance actually goes beyond exceptional! We have bought most all of our appliances from them for over 50 years and some also at my business over the same period. Mark, the owner, sees the bigger picture and knows that customer service is the most important item a business has to offer. We bought an induction cooktop from him and due to a unique breaker and wiring situation, the cooktop would not function. It seemed like the stove was faulty and Mark immediately got in a replacement that also did not function. Ergo, the problem was from our end. After sending out a service rep (over 50 miles away), and testing both stoves in his shop experiencing both working fine, my contractor discovered the issue. Mark would not let me reimburse him for any of his expenses. His comment, "I'm just pleased you have a working cooktop!" That's excellent service!! The repair experience is a joke. My parents (around 80 years old) bought a new dishwasher. The door never seats correctly, so it turns off mid-cycle and drips on the floor. They've had a repair guy come out THREE TIMES, each time they've been billed, and each time it's still a problem. It's always the same guy. Every time he does something that doesn't fix the issue (replace the latch, install some kind of latch cover, tell them to not use some cycles (wtf?)). My parents noticed he shuts the door very hard and "it's fine". Home for the holidays, go to use the dishwasher, and door doesn't shut easily. Look inside, and it's plain as day the top rack doesn't retract all the way on the left side. Looks like it was assembled wrong. Was it assembled at Pardini too? Force the door closed, and for the five minutes it ran before it paused on its own because of the door, it's been dripping on the floor on the left side. Holy shit, Pardini repair, you've billed octogenarians THREE TIMES for a latch issue and didn't notice the rack doesn't seat? It's either incompetence or taking advantage of older people. Sure, my 3-year-old Samsung washing machine had all the bells and whistles, but had problems within a year. I was so incredibly frustrated with the constant maintenance, that I decided to give it the heave-ho and upgraded to a Speed Queen. Let me tell you...BEST. DECISION. EVER! I had to make a decision between two brands and I'm so happy I went with the Speed Queen! It's a fantastic, "old school" machine that is built like a tank. I am new to the area and was in need of a mattress and stove. I always try to shop "local" and was referred to Pardini's by the owner of the local furniture store in my previous community. Pardini's did not disappoint. With the price match savings, I added a dishwasher to my order. On delivery day, the installation team arrived exactly on time. They were polite, courteous, and cleaned up all of their "stuff." My refrigerator is now in the fritz due to the PSPS events and I will definitely be shopping for a new one with Pardini's again. read more

I purchased my Bosch Dishwasher from Pardini about 3 years ago and no problems whatsoever. It was installed in a fairly short time too. Then last year (in the middle of the Pandemic!), I bought a new GE smoothtop electric range from them and it was also quickly installed and has had no problems either. This rating is for my mother who went 1 1/2 months without a working stove & oven! She had gone to her Dr. and he found a high level of carbon monoxide in her blood! Called PG&E they came out & red tagged her stove because of it leaking too much carbon monoxide when turned on!! She had to make many phone calls and wait for Jim to get off of vacation before they could get her new stove ordered and delivered! It was set for last Friday 3-5 but they called at 3:30 and rescheduled for today 9-11! Very sad that a 75 year old woman has to go 1 1/2 months without a stove! Shame on you!! read more

Charged more then half of what a new Dishwasher would cost and did NOTHING! charged 58.00 for trip charge charged 83.50 labor and a 40.00 diagnostic charge. what is diagnostic charge for? shouldn't that be part of the labor fee? or even part of the service call fee? washer had same problem after being told they didn't find anything wrong. Although it may cost you more, you should shop locally whenever possible. A notable exception is Pardini Appliance in Ukiah. When purchasing an appliance here you will most likely pay considerably more than if you make the same purchase at Sears or Costco, but you'll made to feel that you've obtained a relationship comprised of mutual loyalty and trust; and you'll come to expect the service and professionalism to exceed that which you'd get from the big box stores or online. Sadly, that is not case. What is more likely to occur is that when you later need service on your appliance, you're likely to discover that you'll be charged well over retail prices for the parts they use and that you'll be unpleasantly surprised by the labor charges that should have been stated upfront. I suggest that before you buy any appliance from Pardini that you shop around. Both in the short run and the long run, you'll be glad you did. read more

Our Whirlpool dishwasher stopped draining. I called Pardini to schedule a repairman. Talked to Chuck in service and scheduled them to take a look at it. While talking Chuck gave me some info about the drain vent on top of the sink. I followed his instructions and was able to fix the drainage issue myself. Good old fashioned customer service!! Most companies would not have shared the info and charged to do what I was able to do myself. Thank you very much! If we need service in the future I am definitely calling Chuck. read more

We have p urchased 2 appliances (dishwasher and refrigerator) prior to purchasing a built-in SubZero. The installers, Keith and Jeremiah, were top-notch. In addition, Keith is a certified SubZero installer. The installation involved lifting the new and removing the old fridge over the house using a crane and went without a hitch. Keith also gave us a few tips on maintenance. I would certainly use Pardini's for any work I need and highly recommend them. read more

Then asked if we would be installing it ourselves, which we were. He explained how to install it. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. After considerable research to replace a fridge that has no local repair service, selected a Whirlpool refrigerator with the features we wanted (plus our other Whirlpool appliances have been trouble free over the years and they are made in America). Saw an ad at a big box store with a good price and decided to give a local merchant a try (did not reference the price). Called Jim at Pardini, told him the model we wanted and he called back with the same price offered at the big box. Deal done and fridge ordered, though the delivery charge for our remote location was a little higher. Keith the delivery man arrived exactly at the promised time and quickly went to work unboxing and preparing the unit. I was highly impressed with his skill, speed and care - like a surgeon!. Pardini provided a new stainless steel water hose rather than the usual cheap copper tube - this makes moving the fridge for cleaning behind it so much easier and worry-free - definitely worth slight extra delivery / set-up cost. Keith flushed the water line and made sure every packing / protection material was removed. He also offered advice on how to use this fridge, highlighting a couple of features. Bought a refrigerator as well as a washer/dryer set. Pardini's will match Home Depot's sale prices -- and while they do charge for delivery, they will only charge you once (not per item). However -- they will actually INSTALL and level the appliances and make sure they are working before they leave. Mark himself came along with Keith to do our installation and it was not easy as we just moved into a house where the main level is up stairs and on a steep hill. Love what we bought for the washer/dryer. The fridge was our only choice because we have limited space, but it's ok too. They also have a very competent repair staff and stand behind what they sell. After quite a bit of research, online shopping and review reading for a new fridge. Pardini's is where the search ended. Not only was Mark knowledgeable in the different brands and what it takes for repairs, i.e. ordering parts, ease of repair, but he was very friendly and helpful. The fridge chosen was not in stock and had to be ordered. The fridge was delivered by a friendly, professional gentleman named Keith. He was very conscientious of all that is required when delivering a large appliance. Keith not only delivered, hauled away the old fridge, took the time to show us all the different functions of the fridge, took all the shipping wrap off the fridge, but cleaned up after himself and strived to leave the house as he found it. read more

I highly recommend Pardini Appliance. The staff and owner are extremely kind and very helpful! I had an induction GE stovetop that was out of warranty and wouldn't engage any longer. Pardini Appliance was recommended by GE as the best qualified for the repair. The nice repairman came out and GE recommended the replacement of two very expensive circuit boards. Pardini appliance took the parts off a damaged unit at the shop to confirm what GE had diagnosed before I spent allot of money on the parts. After switching out the parts my stovetop did not work. GE wanted me to replace even more of the internal parts. Pardini fought for me and kept me from paying more for the repairs than my stovetop was worth. My family's ordered with Pardini for years. You can order almost any model as long it's a brand they carry (they carry a lot) and they will price match too without being asked. I live up north where other stores won't deliver, but Pardini will, and will install. Oh boy... where to start. Bought a lemon dishwasher that crapped out one month after warranty expired. Scrambled with service department to get it serviced quickly because it's in a vacation rental that is very remote. So a couple of scheduling mishaps, and they've deemed me as a deadbeat that doesn't pay his bills and said they can no longer afford to do business with me. It's an extreme distortion of the truth and offensive to me because I always pay my bills. What a cool store, they have a large selection of many things from mattresses to wood fired pizza ovens. Pardini Appliances of Ukiah abandoned without notification their customer support. We purchased in January 2012 a Whirlpool refrigerator. Three refrigerators later, all either damaged on delivery and or malfunctioning and agreed too by Pardini we switched to a GE in May. This unit was also delivered externally damaged and soon found to have a seal leak in the freezer. After two separate attempts to replace the seals Pardini found the frame was really bent and informed GE who agreed to replace the unit. Then to our surprise and without our knowledge and consent Pardini infomed GE they would no longer particpate and abandoned us. We had to direrctly deal with GE until this November and and also locate another dealer. We feel the problem was dealing with the Pardini management as the repair person was excellent and cooperative. read more

Using "Customer Service" when talking about Pardini Appliance is a JOKE!!! We purchased and had them install a very expensive stove top ($2600.00!!) After 6 months the black coating on the stove grates is wearing off. I called and they spoke with the company representative, who sent new stove grates. Only 3 out 4 arrived. I had sent pictures, so when I called, they told me it was my fault for dragging the pans across the stove!!! I don't buy that myself. Had many stoves and never had this happen before. She told me this would happen again and they will not do anything else for me. She said I could have the manufacturers name and take care of it myself....there is a one year warranty on this. The Customer Service person was rude and demeaning and very unpleasant to TRY and talk to. I will never recommend these rude people to anyone. I feel like I've been robbed..... read more

I had a similar experience to some other "1 star" raters. I'll spare you the very long story and give you a few bullet points. High pressure sales.... even if you've done your research and ask for a specific brand/model, Pardini will talk you into something else. A $3k stove top (not even stove+oven) broke down after 3 uses. By the time it got "functional," we were 4 months into a 12 month warranty. Meanwhile, the fridge we were (hard) sold is squealing like a sick animal, but they will not come out to fix it. "Customer Service" just doesn't exist. When I called the very friendly Jim (who sold us these appliances) to tell him about the issue.. His response "I'm sales, I don't know about repairs"... Um, his name is Jim Pardini... of "Pardini's Appliance".... so I was kicked down to someone else who treated me like an insect she clearly wanted to squash. Highly unpleasant experience (and I am a very tolerant person!) I would recommend that everyone stay away in droves. They do not deserve to stay in business. read more

Very positive experience! Our daughter's dryer broke at our rental in Ukiah. It was under warranty from Sears. Sears had been to the house 3 times in a 3 month period and still couldn't figure it out. We decided to call Pardini since we had such a great experience purchasing appliances from them for our own home. Desiree was very attentive to our needs and was immediately helpful in the office, and quickly arranged for a repairman to be there the next morning. The repairman was very professional and had great communication by phone. He came prepared when he arrived and had the dryer fixed within an hour! I had a bad experience. The Pardini repair department said they didn't usually work on the brand of high-end commercial-style range we inherited when we bought our house, but that they would make an exception. It was leaking propane. The tech came out an charged us over $100 for 10 minutes of his time and absolutely no benefit. He suggested we replace a bunch of expensive parts which we really couldn't afford to do. We ended up solving the problem ourselves by simply turning down the pressure where the gas comes out of the wall. I really feel like when they heard we had a 48" Thermodor range, they saw dollar signs. It makes me hesitant to call them again even if it's about an appliance brand they do service. read more

Pardinin's was referred to me as THE service agent for my Sub Zero refrigerator. What a horrible experience. Awful people. Parts were covered under warranty and the LABOR was going to be $1,400!!! When I asked for an explanation of how they reached that figure the answer was that they charged by the job not by the hour and they TOLD ME they charged whatever they wanted, take it or leave it. Out of frustration and thinking they were my only option I was going to bite it and have them do the repairs. When I was transferred to the scheduling department the woman was incredibly rude and told me they didn't want my business and HUNG UP ON ME!!! After calling Sub Zero they gave me a $500. credit for labor and a referral to Advanced Appliance in Santa Rosa. Their price for labor? $1,800!!! Long story short, I finally go in touch with Art's Appliance Repair in Fort Bragg, a referral of Canclini's who are a wonderful local business. Art is a matter-of-fact kind of guy but an honest and fair service provider. Art's price for the same repairs? $568.00!!!! After negotiating with Sub Zero ALL the labor charges were picked up by the company. Art actually did a couple of other things that weren't covered at no additional charge. Love Art's. Love Canclini's. Wouldn't by a mouse trap from Pardini's or ANY appliance they were the only service provider for. Complete jerks!~ read more
