I bought an older home almost 2 years ago and since the day we moved in it has been one plumbing issue after another. I had called other local plumbers and was never happy with the results. Adam has helped me with a few different projects. I needed a gas pipe put in under pavers for a fire pit and Adam worked really well with the other contractors in scheduling time to get his part of the project complete. I've also had Adam replace a tankless water heater. He came out the same day I called him to assess the issue and a new water heater was ordered and installed the next afternoon. I am not always able to be home when work needs to be done but I never have any issues allowing Adam to work at my home when I'm not there. He is a very trustworthy guy and a really hard worker. We moved to Lake County in 1996 and purchased a 100 year old resort, the Edgewater. It was of the upmost importance to have a reliable and efficient sewer and drain contact. The resort had over 40 sewer hookups all connected to several septic systems. Finally, we found Jude at ABC Sewer & Drain and we were able to sleep at night knowing that guests were not going to pack up and leave due to sewer backups not being taken care of immediately. Could you blame them, not me either! ABC's owner Jude, Adam (his brother/partner) and staff have always been on time, proficient, professional and courteous. I knew them all as we also did upgrades requiring both of them on some of our bigger projects. Now that I have retired and sold the resort the new owners continue to use ABC's services. Of course, I still do too at my home. The only thing, which is understandable, is that when I call too late or on Sundays they usually arrive the next day. I guess they spoiled me! Oh and one more thing.! After spending a hour attempting unsuccessfully to put this review on Goggle, I gave in and pulled up YELP. It was simple and fast. I had never ever seen a business reviewed on the YELP site with 100% positive reviews all giving FIVE STARS as was the case with ABC! I used to call YELP the complainers site for "BELLIGERENT, RAVING, MANIACAL, OBSESSIVE & COMPLUSIVE REVIEWERS", who wrote their reviews in the late hours of the night when they couldn't sleep. Had a NASTY backup through our downstairs toilet (third time) and wife wanted professional council this time. Called up ABC and they came out that afternoon. They did not try to sell me anything, said my pipes were good and that all I had was roots blocking the main drain. I asked Jude a bunch of questions and he answered them all with additional advice for for those of us that are new to septic systems. Once again, these brothers have really made a name for them selves by taking care of my business earlier this year, and now taking care of my home in the last couple of days. Everything about them is honest, well thought out, and very well recommended by me! I called about an emergency plumbing issue at my business, and Jude was there within 20 minutes, and spent hours getting everything cleared out, and kept my business is open due to his perseverance and great attitude. Today, Adam took on my home water heater project and totally went the distance on making sure that I was going to be with hot water without any issues between taking out the old water heater and installing the new water heater, and doing the research on which one would be the best replacement, and I even got a PG&E rebate on it! Sewage stinks...literally. Urgent need meant a flurry of phone calls to several plumbers. Left a lot of messages (fair enough, if you're busy fixing people's pipes, you can't always answer the phone). Jude called me back in less than 10 minutes (the ONLY call back I ended up getting from my several message left with others). Showed up, talked to the guests at my place who were visiting when the washing machine made the toilet overflow with...um...effluent...and fixed the problem in minutes. Took my credit card payment over the phone and offered sound advice about dealing with the issue in the future--which did not include hiring them to come back to do expensive work...Thought I fervently hope I don't ever need their services again, they can totally count on my business for life. I could not be more thrilled that I found this company for a second opinion. Adam was great. I was originally told by another company (Mr. Rooter) that it would be $2500 to $3500 to replace a portion of my septic line that roots had penetrated that could not be cleaned. Jude returned my call within 5 min of my leaving a message. Both Jude and Adam were super courteous. Adam was able to come same day to snake the sewer line out to the septic tank. Having told him the lock combination for the door under the house, he made sure to tell me that he disposes of this kind of identification for all clients right after they are done. Super efficient, reliable, and professional...unlike two of the other Lake County plumbers that we called to do the same job...both of whom never got back to us (ultimately stopped answering their phones), despite their saying they would come.
