He ignored us and the other fellow in the store so he could play cards on his computer. As for the store, the books are overpriced, and the shop is unorganized--I saw John Sandford paperbacks shelved in 3 different places. To sum it up, miserable customer service, inflated prices, and an unorganized store. We won't be back, we'll head to the bookstore across the street and up a block where the staff is very nice, the books are organized, and the prices are reasonable--great prices even, on the clearance books by the door.

This is the follow up to my pool surface being ruined by high acid from Johnson Pool Maintenance…read more The acid was so high it ate the rubber off the wheels of the pool sweep. Just to clarify, the grandkids of the original Johnson Pool folks are taking no responsibility for the damage. The grandkids took over the company in 2025 and appear to have made changes to the business model which resulted in the damage. Nobody from Johnson ever contacted me about the pool sweep or the plaster being ruined because they were charging me $200 per month and never opening the cover.

LAZY! The house I bought had a pool which was the first one I have ever owned so I knew nothing…read more I used Johnson because they had serviced the pool for the previous owners. From the get, their service was mediocre and spotty. Then I learned that despite the pool being salt water--which they were aware of since they actually wrote up the sellers condition report for the pool disclosure part of the buying process, Johnson just ignored that and NEVER serviced the pool as it was meant to be maintained in order for the salt water system to work. Instead they would just show up periodically and dump chlorine into the water--NOT what you do to a salt water pool. Consequently the salt water cells were never cleaned allowing the entire system to fail and refused to correct the situation. They are LAXY USELESS CRIMINALS who will happily accept your monthly payment yet do nothing to earn the money spent. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
