When I entered the store, I asked for real wood furniture. I was shown a set. The tag said it was real wood, the owner said it was real wood. After buying it, found that the largest piece is substantially particle board. All pieces were in some part engineered wood product. I feel I was misled and I suspect the owner knew it was not all wood. read more

DO NOY BUY FROM HERE AS THEY SELL INSAFE FURNITURE. Way to live up to your father's legacy, Mike. I do not like writing reviews like this for local businesses but the unapologetic and rude conversation with Mike that ended this transaction made me go ahead and decide to put this down in public. We live in Ukiah and needed a new bed frame. We decided to drive up to Willits as we wanted to support local businesses and they came highly recommended. The 1,300 dollar bed frame was delivered and built in our bedroom. The bed never felt stable to us, but we were told by the delivery guys that "it needs to settle". Well, the bed settled alright because on the 6th night while sitting down to watch TV on the bed, the bed frame broke. We were unable to sleep in it at all. We called the furniture store the next morning and was promised that by the end of the day we'd have a bed to sleep in. Curtis came and "fixed" the bed but never checked the rest of the bed (as my feeling is that guys who initially delivered and built the bed didn't assemble it correctly). Well, two hours later, while again sitting on the bed, it broke. The following morning we spoke with Mike who was extremely NON apologetic who told us "we will just give you your money back and pick up the bed". No fix, no apology, no "I'm sorry you're now having to scramble to find a bed"....nothing. He didn't even offer to bring us a metal frame so we can have a bed to sleep in tonite (I would've gladly paid for that metal frame, by the way). So, needless to say, Mike......I will tell everyone we know (and trust me, we know a lot of people in both Willits and Ukiah) to never do business with you. I found our last conversation insulting and rude to say the least. I added a photo for show. I understand things break and some things are out of people's control, but the rudeness, unprofessionalism, and the final unapologetic conversation as well as complete lack of empathy was definitely uncalled for because we did absolutely nothing wrong. read more

I am a single mom who had to rebuild my home piece by piece after a bad divorce. I was able to get several nice quality, needed, useful items here at a more affordable price than many other places I looked. Plus since I live in town delivery was free. I am a return loyal customer. Very happy and thankful for such an ethically run business so close to home! On a side note for those who are relatively new to yelp. If someone seems hell bent to leave a bad review, go look at their yelp profile. There you can easily see what other reviews they leave. You can see if their actually trying to be helpful to the business or possible consumer, or just hateful people with nothing better to do with their energy. Those types can never be pleased, and are pretty miserable with everything. read more

Obviously this store could care less about making a sale. My partner and I circled the store twice looking for a loveseat and no one asked if they could help us. There was a woman at the counter obviously making a sale. She looked up when we entered but said no greeting. Two delivery guys with matching shirts so that I knew they worked there passed us and just smiled. We decided that they didn't want our business so we started towards the door and the two young men passed us again and the one did ask if they could answer and question for us. By now we were done with Willits Furniture and left. There are to many stores that value their customers and know how to deliver good customer service spend your money at these establishments not a business who could care less about their customers. read more

It's so fabulous to have such a great furniture store right here in our town. They have really knowledgeable staff, good prices and a wide variety of furniture both in the store as well as things you can order through their catalogs. they can purchase for you. They helped us through the arduous process of picking out a couch to order but when my son wanted a chair for his room we were able to walk in and pick it off the floor. As we live around the corner they were able to deliver it same day. Great store! read more

We wanted to purchase a mattress for our daughter and found Willits Furniture on Google. I called the store and spoke to a very helpful woman. I explained that I would be doing everything over the phone and needed help with choices. She gave me many options and ideas. She also suggested to call their other location La Bodega Furniture and speak with Julian. I did so and he is also so very helpful. He even emailed me pictures to help with my decision. I am very impressed and satisfied with the level of attentive customer service I received and would strongly suggest either store, and more-so recommend Julian. He helped me and made it so very simple! If any time in the future we need any more furniture of any kind, this is where we will be going. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more
