This has been my favorite Mexican resturant since I knew what Mexican food was. It remains the best place for Mexican grub that I've found in all of Snohomish county, and the service is always very friendly as well. Great for groups, great for drinks, don't bother with the place across the street from it. The food pales in comparison. read more

Honestly when you pull it up it doesn't look like much and you wouldn't know it was a restaurant unless you were looking for it just due to where it's located and the building . However I had a great experience. we were instantly greeted very friendly great customer service you could tell the people that work there really love their jobs I ordered the shrimp enchilada and my fiance order the beef tostada .....you guys hook it up with the seafood ...most places you get a couple pieces of shrimp and you guys loaded my burrito which is amazing .you get what you pay for. the quality of food is absolutely amazing, very fresh, I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal. the drinks were very good and very strong and no I am not complaining. my only complaint about this visit is you almost seem to have to ask to be seated outside or at the bar I wish we were offered to sit in the bar because where we were seated was next to a bunch annoying children but what can you do but other than that I will drive out of my way to come here for Mexican food read more

We had another FABULOUS dinner + drinks last night. This family restaurant is one of our favorites. The ingredients are fresh & service of prompt!!! read more

We waited about 30 min for the waitress to take our order. I literally had to wave her down. My water tasted like dirty tap water, my seafood chimichanga was gross and my friend's fish tacos were so salty she couldn't eat them. They brought out flour tortillas instead of corn and the waitress never checked on us except to bring us the bill and take the plates away, never asking why we had only eaten a quarter of our meal. Chips were stale and salsa was gross. I don't know how anyone can eat here. The only reason we met here was because I thought it would be similar to El Paraiso in downtown Everett. NO WAY! This Paraiso is far from authentic. I should have known as soon as I saw the rolled out indoor/outdoor carpeting on the patio. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Plus my bill was almost $15- WAY too expensive. read more

Mexi-Soul Food in Arlington - Viva! Super spot with tasty Mexican food made with love just minutes from I-5. The Mocajete pollo was excellent and generous portions. Chili verde was excellent as well as the fresh guacamole made table side by the Paraiso Matriarch. Hot, steaming housemade corn tortillas and pico de gallo were yummy. If you're looking for good eats in Arlington, WA, this place will take care of you. read more

For starters, the chips come with salsa and Pico de Gallo without having to ask for it. Just enough kick to let you know it's there but not too much. Carne Asada was done to perfection. Very tender with a hint of char that really added to the flavor. Super friendly staff. My only regret is the limited beers on tap. Overall 4.75 stars read more

You must go to lunch here don't miss out. Super fast always attentive and food was fantastic. The prices are more then reasonable.

Terrible place. Rude waitress, ignored us, never checked on our food after it was served. If she did she would have noticed we didn't take one bite. Water on the whole bottom of each of our lunches, made me think they water down the sauce. No drink refill check, but she was sure asking the table of guys next to us for whatever they needed. The chicken smelled ROTTON, the cheese and sauce couldn't cover that smell. Had to ask for our bill, she yelled across the room - who is paying for the pico de gallo - that was brought to us with chips when we sat down, think they would have said there's a charge. When we paid I let her know we couldn't eat the food and she said, you should have told me and I said - you should have noticed. She rolled her eyes. No, I'm sorry, here's gift card, let me reverse the charge, nothing. Never going back and will continue to add very poor reviews here so you don't go there to eat. Go to a different restaurant like we had to because we were hungry. read more

The pico de gallo just keeps on coming with the chips. And it's good. Pazole, mocajete - it's all tasty. There's a warm, friendly feel in the room. read more

This has been my family's favorite mexican place for years! We come here for all our birthdays and get the flaming mexican flag drink (I dont know many places that do that anymore, actually). The family that owns the place are great people and know how to treat customers. They used to (dont know if they still do) have a magician, which was freakin' awesome! And, of course, the food is incredible. You really can't find better mexican in snohomish county. read more

Good service. Came in to get a to-go order and it was done in no time. Got the carne asada and it was tender & delicious! I also posted a picture of our to-go order. It was packed nicely with tortillas on the side. read more

The best kind of Mexican restaurants is always found in non-chain-like places. I've had some good small-chain food too, but this is a place that stands alone. I would have to say, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Arlington/Marysville area. I don't like to go far for good Mexican faire and am happy to not need to! Their expresso burrito is awesome, my fiancee usually gets the nachos... we've taken family here for a large dinner with lots of margaritas (which are also great). I also enjoy the complimentary salsa AND Pico de Gallo with chips. Its fresh and yummy! read more

We were on our way from Vancouver BC to Portland, and got hungry. This almost hidden little gem is where we stopped for "lunch" at about 2 p.m. The pico de gallo served with the chips was literally the best I've had in ages! The tacos were fresh (with shredded beef) and the enchilada was extremely tasty. No, the food was not really spicy, but it was very, very tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely stop again on our way through Arlington! read more

I have ate at Parasios for years and have never had a reason to complain. Tonight in the bar the waitress got our order wrong and then argued wirh me "im going to change this but its your fault." Pointing at me the entire time and being disrespectful. When i asked for the manager she complained all the way to the bar in spanish loudly. Just because im white, doesnt mean i dont understand spanish. When ths bartender came over we explained we werent mad about the mixup just how we were treated. His excuse was she is a " mexican woman and is like that" he never once admitted wrong only tried to understand that she is mexican. I know plenty of mexican women and they wouldnt "understand" being treated poorly. Rude is rude no matter the culture. read more

What an awful experience. First, I experienced a serious language barrier with the hostess, and had trouble getting seated. Second, my (male) host was extremely impatient and was rude through the service. Third, my tacos were soaked with oil and ripped into pieces if picked up. Finally, as described by other reviewers, the owners try to nickel and dime you. Coming around with pico de gallo "for extra charge" is inappropriate. Also, having 20% as the lowest tip option when using a handheld card reader feels coersive. I ended up paying over $21 for a non-combo taco meal! Stay away. read more

My absolutely favorite place to go for Mexican food. Been going here since I was a kid and they never changed, always exceptional work!

Locally owned mini chain restaurant. We've dined at the Colby Everett and Bickford Snohomish, as well as Arlington. They're all pretty much the same. Fresh tortillas made on site sets this establishment apart from your average Mexican Food Restaurant. Prices are on par with similar establishments. Chips come with Pico de gallo or bean dip, which is pretty standard elsewhere. Drinks made right. All-in-all, a-ok for a small town dining option but nothing uniquely savory to write about. read more

Very good Mexican food at reasonable prices. A friendly staff with great service. The burritos are great and a very large portion, I usually take some left over home for another meal. read more

So, if I am out for dinner with my daughter and let her watch the new Tinkerbell movie on the Kindle while we wait to order and get our food and she is able to watch the ENTIRE MOVIE before we get our food, don't act surprised when I leave less than 10% for a tip. Anytime we asked for anything, the waitress said "I'll bring it right here." 15 minutes later, we get it. I was probably too generous! The food is about as decent as you can get for Mexican food in the area--not bad, but not great either. But come on, it shouldn't take me asking 3 times and 20 minutes to get mild salsa for my daughter to dip her chips into. We got seated in a corner tonight and it really felt like it. I really wish someone would open up a decent TexMex or Mexican restaurant in the area that knew how to staff the restaurant so that you can get good service during Friday night dinners. Very Disappointing. We had to wait another 15 minutes after we finished eating to get our bill. And when it came, it was put on our table and she immediately walked away. 10 minutes later, my daughter started complaining that she wanted to leave. Only AFTER I replied to her that I wanted to leave too did someone come over to take my card. Oh, and another pet peeve of mine. They have handheld credit card readers and ask you how much you want to leave for a tip. I hate that. Fine, use the hand held devices, but hand it to me when it comes time to enter the tip. read more

THE BEST Carne Asada anywhere!!! Chile Relanos are GREAT!!! (Again, the BEST! imho) We LOVE the pork wings and a plate of mushrooms for starters. The Guava Margarita's are spectacular!!! Our family LOVES Paraiso's and have frequented there for many years. We all have our favorites to order. Double shrimp fajita's is hubby's 'go to' almost every time. The girls like the Special Asada Taco's - not sure that's the menu name but it's what they call them. I love the shrimp salad too - refreshing and plentiful. The salads are wonderful for a 'to go' order on a hot summer evening for a sunset picnic at the beach. Now I've made myself hungry for another visit SOON just thinking of their menu delights. With any luck we'll be there tonight! read more

This place is pretty amazing. I had 2 chicken enchiladas and 3 fish tacos. For starters, I didn't realize how much food they give you and it doesn't take away from the flavor at all. I would come back here with out a doubt in my mind. The staff is nice and explains the menu if you need them to. If your looking for authentic Mexican cuisine this is your one stop shop! read more

Clearly this is a popular place with the locals. We had a Sunday dinner here with a group of 12, squarely placed in the only movable tables in the establishment. Much like Sean K's comments, we found the food bland and the service very slow. Luckily the kids meals were cheap and the total bill fairly low. Chips were brought to the table early, and jugs of water easy to grab in the voids between waiter visits. read more

I've been coming here since I was a very young child! There's a reason why my family will always come back, because the food is always on point, and the waitress and waiters are incredibly quick! The pico de gallo and salsa are endless, which is hard to believe because of how good it is! I would think that they would normally charge for something like that lol :) I usually stop here about once or twice a month, and I have gotten so many people hooked to this place! Thank you parasios!! read more

Delicioso! Wonderful food and service. Highly recommend the fiesta margarita. We did to-go as we were on our way to our hotel. Their indoor dining looked great: clean with spaced seating. Wish we lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular. :) read more

I would give 3.5 really. Margarita was frozen, oversized, and delicious. After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to go but I was less concerned about the price as some members who have been going there for years were. They did charge a dollar fifty for Pico and was not impressive. It didn't look very fresh and the cuts of the vegetables were so irregular. We ordered the guacamole and again presentation was lacking and it wasn't Blended well. The food altogether had decent taste and very large portions. read more

Best Mexican (that's I've found so far) in the North end. Sometimes it can get busy and the service isn't perfect, but it's consistently good honest Americanized-Mexican grub. Love the Carne Asada, especially at less than $13. Enchiladas are tasty and the tamales are very good. Also a fan of the Special Taco's... more like a 'true' taco, (4 per plate) 2 corn tortillas, dipped in a broth, topped with chopped meats, onions and cilantro. Hopefully you get it served with their AWESOME green taco sauce... if you get the orange bottle, watch out. Habenero-goodness, but hot-hot-hot. Sometimes I want to duck my head and avoid the magician, but whenever they've stopped by it's been good cheesy fun. Hurrah for lighting wallets on fire! read more

My home away from home. The food is excellent the drinks are better, but you really can't beat the friendly service from brothers Ben & Chano. With a friendly "Good Morning" when you walk in the door (no matter what time of day it is), they take you in and make you feel like part of the family. My favorites: Special Tacos adobada, or the Chile Colorado. Don't forget to order a margarita! And have Ben show you a magic trick! read more

My family has been coming here about once a week for about 10 years (family of 4). The food is always excellent and the service is fabulous. The restaurant is always very clean and upbeat. Everybody is always so kind and efficient. It's always our "go to" place. Fabulous restaurant! read more

Stopped in while having our tires replaced on our work truck. Nice friendly staff got us seated quickly. Didn't really need a menu as we knew what we wanted. Literally 8 minutes after taking our order, our plates were served to us. Huge portions covered the entire plate. The rice was light an fluffy, beans tasted good an the shrimp were cooked just right. I would definitely return for another visit if I was in the area. read more

My family and I love this place. The food is great and Margaritas are also pretty tasty! Unlike some restaurants that add "fillers" to some items I have found that they do not. The food tastes authentic and fresh. I ordered the fajitas and they are amazing. I highly recommend. It is also a very kid friendly ave which is a plus. read more

Haven't been here for awhile. It's always been a reliably good place to eat. We were nearby and hungry so we stopped in. First thing we noticed was a note on the menu saying they now charge 3.7 percent for credit/debit transactions. Ridiculous for two reasons. One, most places do not charge this fee. I know we may pay indirectly but that's ok. Cost of doing business. Second, 3.7 percent no mater how much the bill is! So 3.7 of $10 or 3.7 of $100! Just a money making gouge. Also they asked with with the chips, that every Mexican restaurant provides, did we want pico de Gallo for an extra charge! That was it. We left. We're now eating down the street. Chips with complementary pico de Gallo! read more

This place used to be my favorite! Even as a kid. It has definitely gone down hill. Went to take my kiddos. My food was horrible. I ordered a chicken taco salad in the shell. Chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. The bottom was mush it looked like cat food. Service was horrible. My little girl accidentally spilt some ice and no one even offered to help or give me a trash can or extra napkins. They also now charge for bean and cheese dip (but forget the cheese). I sent my salad back. And then went to take my girl to the bathroom-we for back and they toon their plates (which still had corn dogs and french fries on). But yet the charged me $6 for bean dip. And $12 for my daughter's food that they took away. The waitresses are rude and you never come around. The food is worse than any mexican restaurant I've been to. I spent over $20 and still had to feed my family. We went to taco bell instead. read more

We arrived and ordered quickly and soon realized several patrons came and gone... still no food. The waiter comes by so we ask if they forgot and he says the ticket was misplaced. We got the food and tortillas for carne Asada were hard but considering it took 45 min for the food we just dealt with it. We got the check expecting they would take something off considering it was their mistake and full price. We would not go back. Food was mediocre... not terrible except the hard tortillas but terrible service. read more
