Pork carnitas

Best overall pico, salsa, chips, service, booths, bathrooms, in Granite Falls, Lake Stevens and Marysville, in my opinion.

Chicken Enchiladas.....I guess

Well....read good things about having a new taqueria in Granite Falls, and was really looking forward to a decent restaurant here, NOT. Their menu says these are chicken enchiladas with 3-blend cheese melted on top. What they actually are is floppy, cold tortillas with no cheese anywhere. I've had enchiladas, I make enchiladas, all others are baked with cheese inside and on top. Absolutely disgusting.

Carne asada street tacos combo

Just opened in Granite Falls! Love that there is another choice to get food from. Called in our order for pick up! Food was ready when I got there. Quick and easy pick up! Food was good! My preference would be to get more rice then beans, lol. Rice was excellent and beans average. Carne Asada tacos were good. Marinated pork tacos were amazing.!!Great flavor!! The jalapeño I did try and first bite had a lot of flavor, so I went in for a 2nd bite and got a punch of heat. Mouth was on fire, lol! Watch out for them. When Covid restrictions drop. Looks like there will be a good amount of seating inside! Definitely will return.

Second time grabbing dinner here and still excellent. Love the street tacos. Adobada is my fav meat, carne asada is my husbands. Guac is good. Red and green sauces are tasty. Enchiladas and quesadilla meals are good. Really like having this food in town

This place was a great stop after our long hike! My wife and I both went with tacos, very reasonably priced especially for the Pacific Northwest. They are small, street style tacos. Definitely get the onions and cilantro. I was able to add cheese to mine too. Make sure to ask for the red and green salsa as well. Will definitely come back when we are hiking in the area!

Food was okay. Service was great. Way overpriced for the quality of food. Probably won't return but I'm glad we tried it.

Great to see some nice good fresh food come to town. Taco lengua and adobadas are my favorite so far. Looking forward to a Cubano!

I went with the machaca (tender shredded beef with eggs), and it was incredible, super tender, rich, and packed with flavor. We also shared the garlic parm wings, which were crispy and addictive, and the chips & guac were fresh and done right. Our kid had a quesadilla and loved it. One of the coolest touches was the kids menu! it's interactive and even teaches them how to count to 10 in Spanish, which is such a fun and thoughtful detail. Great food, welcoming vibe, and an awesome brunch experience all around. We'll definitely be back!

Monroe, Washington, April 2026…read more This colorful building is located on the main street in downtown Monroe. The minute you walk in you are greeted immediately. An older gentleman and a younger guy were quick to tell us we could sit wherever we wanted as it was a Sunday evening. Booths line the wall and there are about four tables in the middle of the restaurant. Very small, but very colorful and extremely friendly staff. We were quickly asked for a drink order and they brought chips and salsa. The chips were a perfect thin yet crunchy texture. The salsa was very flavorful. It had chunks of onions and lots of cilantro. However, I wish the salsa was spicier. We both ordered chicken and beef enchiladas à la crema. The presentation was nice and I'm so glad there was no lettuce decorating my plate. My whole beans came in a little tortilla cup but the rice lacked flavor. It taste more like a puréed risotto. The enchiladas were covered in the cream sauce that also had cheese. There was no flavor to the cream sauce and the chicken was extremely dry. I liked the flavor of the whole beans. They don't give you a full basket of chips when you sit down. So we asked for more as they were delicious. But then we received only a quarter of a basket this second time. They don't post prices of the soda or the drinks. When we inquired to see a bar menu, they said they had none that we could order anything we want. We asked the price of a particular drink and he said don't worry. When I receive my bill, my non alcoholic bottle of Heineken was $7.25. I think that is outrageous for a nonalcoholic beer. I will give this place three stars because the chicken was tough and dry. The cream sauce was boring and the salsa needs spice.

The food was absolutely amazing. Chips were homemade and the salsa was perfection. We ordered the chorizo queso, asada tacos and tamales. You could tell the tortillas were homemade. Everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered the spicy margaritas and let me tell you, if you like a spicy marg this is top 3 I have ever had. And all that is great, but what made the whole experience the best was Alvaro. He was attentive, funny as heck, engaging, made each one of our drinks himself and he just lit up the whole place. Thank you Alvaro for being you! If you are around the area - you will not be disappointed by going here!

Truly unsure why this place has such amazing reviews. I came in with a group for dinner (6 of us)…read moreand the owners seemed pissed that we were there. They were serving tables, clearing tables, dusting, just any activity besides seating us. We asked what the wait was going to be and they said "hold on." Meanwhile, they only had about 3 tables going and there were tons where they could have sat us. We finally got a table, but no service or even water for 30 min. I ordered a hibiscus marg and it was okay. I don't think it had alcohol in it. My friend got peach sangria, which ended up basically being Sunny D with grenadine. Her glass was cracked, so we asked if we could get a new one. Like 20 min later, we asked the server if her new drink was coming and he said no. He then gaslit us into thinking we broke the glass and would need to replace it. So weird. The food was fine. Very average. They aren't very flexible with substitutions and aren't aware of allergens. I got poblano shrimp and the sauce was watery and the beans tasted like lard. They forgot two of our dishes and got things really confused. When the bill came, we asked to see it because we were worried they would charge us for the meal they never brought out or the glass shard sangria. They said no LOL. We said we weren't comfortable paying without reviewing the items on the bill, and they had one of our group go behind the counter to look at it on the computer. Very odd. They really didn't know how to work their POS. We sat at a table next to a huge overflowing box of wires and cords. The whole aesthetic was really off, the servers were rude and unhelpful, and the food was like an even lower quality azteca/ixtapa. Not surprising for the location, but def not worth a stop.

Ordered the chorizo queso and we nearly fought for the last of it- Husband got a smothered burritto and was making happy noises the whole time, I got the beef enchilladas with mole - very sweet if you're into that. Amazing service as well.

I didn't buy it because I know Marysville has Las Margaritas and La Hacienda, 2 places I grew up with in Seattle and although, one left the city and the other has closed locations, I'd like to believe either can still serve a respectable plate. So, I found this place and suggested it and this is my report. $25 for lunch was a bit steep, that was just the entrée with tax and tip. No beverage or extras. Salsa was okay, could have been hotter. I aksed for something hotter, but they said they didn't have anything. Pictures showed multiple salsas and bottles of sauce, but we weren't offered any. The plate came with healthy portions of rice and beans. But the portion of Carne Asada did not impress. It also had the smaller portion of guacamole, it was like a half teaspoon, not enough to compliment the entrée. I won't drag this out. The food was pretty good, it did take some salt and pepper to really pop, but it was better than any local chain Mexican food. I will also say the service improved from cold to friendly and neither of us left hungry. Speaking of cold, there was no hot water in the restroom. I don't know why the Health Department allows this. It takes soap and hot water to wash hands. If there is no hot water, you are not a clean restaurant in my book. Still, I'd probably give this place a 3 with a point deduction for price and for not appearing to offer the same menu items previous reviews advertise. Fastest way to earn 5 stars is to increase the protein portion and put hot water in the restroom. For the record, there was a supreme Enchilada special for $12. That is very reasonable and also why I didn't hesitate to pay $18 for the Carne Asada Lunch, I just assumed, I would get the same value, but did not. This place is worth checking out, but it was also empty and I can see why. If I were back in the area, I would most likely try Las Margaritas or La Hacienda. I feel confident my dollar goes further there.
