Like others said. The price is too high. Two burgers and a flight of beers was 40 bucks. Which would have been fine if the burgers were cooked as ordered. The medium came out medium well and the medium rare was well done. Both were charred on the outside like there was no control of the flame. Once I told the waitress the burgers were not cooked properly she was curt until we left. She did ask if we wanted another burger, but had not checked on us once the food came out until we were almost done. The fries were amazing and the beer list is great. I would not go back though. read more

The menu has a really good mix and can please just about anyone. If you are hungry though, I wouldn't come here. The portions are small for entrees in general. I ordered the spinach ravioli and my husband ordered the duck quesadilla. I only had about 6 medium size pieces on one long rectangular plate and the quesadilla were about 5 pieces. The food was good and we would get it again but too small for us. We also chose the raspberry mousse lime dessert and it was very delicious. read more

Love this place! It's in our regular restaurant rotation. Perfect for a night out with a group of friends or even a lunch date. Haven't tried the brunch yet but it sounds fantastic! The best are the voodoo wings! Veggie burger is also delicious. Delicious beers and cocktails and knowledgeable wait staff will help you choose a beer if you're not sure. read more

Good selections of craft beers and good ambiance. Good food but it was better under the original chef and previous management.

great beer choices, excellent food, great environment. Really enjoyed every visit to Paragon...especially the Founders Tap Takeover, very cool, lots of fun! read more

Good place for drinks but not impressed with the food. Several of the seating areas are quite loud. I couldn't even hear the server speaking to me. read more

The food was great. The service was excellent. Server was allot of fun. Great beer selection. I'll definitely be back

Not the biggest fan of this place and although friends did warn me, I wanted to experience it per the YELP recommendation email. I'm always curious as to what's in NJ and realistically it's always a 50/50 shot on recommendations. The point is to experience it for yourself. I can't say I had a "bad" experience (it was fine), but it definitely had no "wow factor". I'd lived in the neighboring town for years and wanted to venture back to catch-up with friends and made reservations roughly two months ago for a large crew. The area has literally exploded. What was once a liquor store and a Bradlees across the street from a Howard Johnson is still the token dangerous circle in Clark with quite the list of changes. Upon approaching the place you are sort unsure by what is the main entrance, but who cares about that as with the warmer weather the patio probably helps to direct that, in any event you are greeted with a very nice staff (the stars). For some odd reason the room that is courted off from the rest of the place was extremely hot, so it made for discomfort amongst all diners in the same room (not a private room, it just had no air flow). Again, i'll look past that as I am sure the doors are wide open in the warmer months. The decor was gimmicky, but you get the gastropub idea they are going for and that is fine in terms of marketing the idea in the congested location...but the prices you find paired with the food, decor, and layout, just doesn't add up. I've just sat down and it's already a hodge-podge of a setup, but still a GREAT staff (They call to confirm your reservations and also had no problems as we were running a little late due to traffic and we called to advise of that). I cannot stress that enough...everyone was very nice. Food: I will agree with others on a couple things. The "Hot" Duck Quesadilla was good. Stuffed nicely and tasty. Good spice (not sure if they are really using Ghost peppers in the cheese) and I enjoyed it. The Fish taco's my spouse had were fine, nothing different. My chicken and waffles...sad! It was a Corn Flake crust and that will take care of the crunch, but there was nothing else to it. The chicken wasn't seasoned. I'm not looking for blackened or any type of rub, but it wasn't even salted. It was tough to the chew and I pretty much figured it out. Have you ever had chicken that's been over cooked or even boiled too long? Thats the texture I felt, as if it was boiled, then coated and fried (NOT saying they do this). You may ask why I chose this dish and that's because a similarly designed place in Newtown Square PA had some incredible Corn Bread Waffles with fried chicken, so there was a mindset I had when I saw it on the menu. I even used the slaw from my quesadilla to help, which is didn't, and when I salted it the salt didn't help, it was like that piece of popcorn that's over salted and sits on top of the actual puffed kernel and you feel the grit as you chew on it (you know what I mean). My friend had the "twisted" TV dinner, she was not happy with it and claimed it tasted "frozen". A buddy of mine had the pretzel rods which were OK and he mentioned the waffles BLT was no big deal. As mentioned, I was forewarned about the food two months earlier, so I did not set any crazy expectations. My one friend enjoyed his flank steak (he's a simple meat and potatoes kind of guy) and another said his burger was pretty good. Beer/Drink: Great selection, full spectrums on price, and the beer snob in me will say "They didn't use the right glasses at all"...again, just let that go, it's just me being picky. I've been to biergartens before that had me intrigued enough to purchase something outlandish to share at the table before, but there was nothing about the place itself that would have me spending 50-75 on a special beer. For those still interested in a selection, there really is a list to pick from. I enjoyed the Raging Bull Amber as well as the Breury Belgian. ($6 and $7 drafts respectively) Overall: I won't be going back and I know it sounds mean, so I do apologize. I didn't have super high expectations but I also didn't go in with a "Pffft...yeah ok" game face either. I was excited to meet with friends and walk out thinking i'd come back at least one more time. I toyed with the thought of going during hotter months to sit outside and enjoy a brew, but to be frank...location wise it doesn't do it any justice for outdoor seating. I caution those to check the bills closely as there is a "Finca Reserva" on the Wine list that calls out a Malbec and the other that just misses the "Malbec". You could be charged $15 for a $9 glass (which they corrected), and keep an eye on that pre/post-tax charge for your parties. They have a good idea here, but they need to grab you with the food and it's not happening (IMO). We continued the party with a few brews and coffee outside by a fire pit around the block from here at a neighboring establishment read more

Good beer and good food. I was not blown away but it was better than chain restaurants. Interesting menu and good service.

Great food and an excellent selection of beer, wine and fine spirits. Essentially higher-end bar food, when you leave, be prepared to be either be a) stuffed to the point of agony or b) taking enough leftovers for a whole 2nd day. Portions are huge, but everything is so good why wouldn't you want to bring more home. The servers and bartenders know their stuff. Have a question about any of the food or alcohol? Not only will you have it answered thoroughly, but expect a history lesson with some of the items. As someone that used to work in the world of wine/liquor it's really refreshing to be able to ask a question and know you're getting the right answers. Great place. read more

Ate there with my partner a few Saturday's ago. We ate in the bar area. There is a lot I really liked . Cool atmosphere. Varied menu with a number of things I'd like to try. Perfectly made drinks. Awesome service. App and desert were very good. But both our meals were just ok. They were not as good as they sounded on the menu. I will go again however and give it another try. Side note, bar area looks like a nice place to eat and have a drink if you are on your own for the night read more

Not really sure where to start as this place seemed to be a bit of an enigma. On the one hand was our awesome waitress, Karina and the honestly excellent food. We started with Crab Tacos, which were "just right" and followed it with a Sea Bass and the Twisted TV Dinner, both of which were great. Really cool idea with the TV Dinner, it even comes in the TV dinner tin. The only gripe on the food, if you can even call it that, was that I asked for medium but there was no pink inside at all. Not a tragedy as the filet was so moist that the temperature was just a formality. Even the dessert was fantastic! What really kind of bothered us about this place was that when we arrived, there was a group of what looked like off duty wait/bus staff occupying one of the outdoor tables...The table right across from the front door. There were 5 or 6 of them when we arrived, standing and sitting around the table. They were talking quite loudly, discussing the ins and outs of the restaurant business and what they've done at other restaurants. The worst part was that one of them was chain smoking cigarettes and turning her head so as not to blow the smoke at her friends, but blowing it straight at us, the customers instead. So I am clear, I am being as brief and vague about the conversations they were having as I can. I worked in restaurants in college and I know the camaraderie of the staff and that they like to hang out with each other after their shift, but I cannot imagine that management/ownership would want their staff rotating (several people came and went while we were there) through a prime table during dinner hours and not eating, sitting right in front of the door where all of their patrons have to pass them, smell their cigarette smoke and listen to their "back of the house" stories while they try to eat with their family. They were there when we arrived at 7:30, they were there when we left after 9. As great as Karina was to us and as awesome as the food was, if this is the norm at Paragon Tap & Table, I will not be going back. At the least I will not sit outside again. I know the chef here takes pride in his food and his presentation and rightfully so. The atmosphere and experience eating here should really match the food...right now it doesn't! read more

Went with my friends for happy hour last night. We sat at the bar. I'm not a craft beer fan, so I ordered a house wine. It was fine. We were famished so the three of us ordered several appetizers each. I had the tuna tartare. OMG it was delicious. The flavors really popped. I also ordered the buffalo and bacon chicken dip. This was tasty as well. My friends ordered wings and duck pizza. They raved about the taste. I was too busy eating my food to taste theirs. I wish I had tried the duck pizza. But, I'll be back!! This wasn't my first time at Paragon. I've been three other times. Those weren't favorable experiences. The menu has changed for the better. The service has def improved. I was pleasantly surprised at what a fantastic time I had. Great job, Paragon. I'll be back and I'll even take my hubby next time. read more

The food is great and the beer list is awesome. I love any place that has a great craft beer list. This list is well stocked. The food is different and risk taking but I always love whatever I get. You can tell the chef puts a lot of thought in to the dishes and the menu. I wasn't crazy about the prices for the amount of food that is given. I was still hungry after my meal. If I had known it was such a small portion I would have gotten an appetizer but I felt that my meal cost too much for the amount of food on my plate. But it was seafood and I know that can be pricey. But I would have been happy if it came with a side dish to make up for the small portion. But overall great place! read more

This is my absolute favorite spot! I am here at least once a week, sometimes even more than that. The food is always amazing, I have tried most of the menu and have liked every item. You have to try the chicken and waffles and the wings!! Their beer selection is top notch (and constantly having Kane Brewing on the list is always a winner). I have been to a couple other places similar to Paragon, but the craft beer selection is never quite like theirs. Not only is there a large selection, but the selection is high quality. Now to the best part about Paragon, the service! My beer guru is their bartender/waiter Mike, if he's there I don't even open the beer menu, he brings me what he thinks I will like and I always love it!! The management always stops to say hi and chat with you for a bit - which is always a sign of fantastic establishment. The service from the other staff members is excellent as well. I can go on and on about how much I love this place, but if you are looking for a place with excellent beer, amazing food, phenomenal service, and awesome vibes - look no further, this is the place. read more

The food is getting worse. The new entrees are pretty uninspired and lifeless and execution on old favorites (duck quesadilla) is not as good. Tried the red snapper and it was dry and not seasoned enough. Shame becaus we love coming to this place, but recent visits have been underwhelming. Beer selection is good as always. read more

Been a loyal customer to this chic spot since the day it opened, and I've never been disappointed with my experience. Hubby & I only go every few months as it's a little more of a pricy spot, but completely worth every penny. My favorite element about this place is that the menu is constantly changing! As mentioned above, we won't come here for a month or two and then when we come back the menu is almost completely different! And they cater to the seasons which I also appreciate, and not just with their food options but with their craft beer selection as well. Last night they had a lot of pumpkin/spiced beers that I really loved. You can also purchase a growler of whichever beer you'd like! Awesome! When the place first opened, the portions were super small, and that would have been my only complaint. But I'm guessing they've decided to up the sizes due to hungry customers like myself ;) All in all, a great place with awesome food, large craft beer selection, super friendly service, little to no wait, and an owner who truly cares about his guests and their experiences as his restaurant. 5 stars!! read more

Had an awesome lunch there on what I thought would be a quiet Wednesday. Had the Cobb salad, figured it'd be basic. Bacon was crisp, lettuce didn't have E. coli and Abby the bartender was a riot: engaging, funny, full of energy, and great recommendations on beer. Good food, good times... read more

Just perfect! Was looking for a restaurant to bring my family together for a memorable brunch. Ramar, the manager, and Adam, our waiter, delivered with a delicious, relaxing meal and wonderfully attentive service. We had a broad variety of items to choose from -- breakfast dishes from the brunch menu as well as innumerable comfort food dishes, entrees, sandwiches and lighter salads from their regular menu. Everyone raved about their food and despite the generous portions, many clean plates left our table. Adam and Ramar came to check on us often to ensure that everything was to our liking. What a great afternoon! Thanks, Ramar and Adam! read more

My friends and I came for brunch cocktails. The mimosas actually had champagne in them; nice change of pace! We had some apps and entrees as well. The nachos were kind of weird and not particularly great but the truffle fries were delicious! They have a private seating area for a large party (it seems like it could comfortably fit over 40 people) and the back room, not the bar area, was very cozy. The service was very good. I would definitely come back. read more

My wife and I are repeat visitors to Paragon. We tend to come in on the weekend, but mid-afternoon. We run errands and roll lunch and dinner into one meal. Paragon has a thoughtful menu that goes way beyond burgers and salads. My wife is a big fan of their pulled pork and the short rib sandwich. I LOVE the fish tacos, which come as a trio that is filling and delightful. The iceberg wedge salad (which can be ordered with or without a protein) is large enough for two. The combo of bacon with a chunky bleu cheese dressing is a knockout. Paragon's beer list has never disappointed me. Their frequent tap takeovers result in different breweries spotlighted. Again, delightful. My only regretted order was a misbegotten dessert that combined banana pudding with caramelized pineapple. The less said, the better. Servers are ALWAYS cheerful & knowledgeable about the menu. At each visit, a manager comes along to make certain we have everything we need. Our meals (with wine and beer) run about $70 plus a well-earned tip. Always happy when my wife suggests a meal at Paragon! See you again soon! read more

This place is above and beyond amazing. Katie & Sherman are definitely who to ask for. The rotating beer taps are always fun. Paired with the also rotating food menu, you're always in for a new dining experience every time. Guaranteed fun at this spot for sure! read more

Went there for a birthday dinner with my better half made reservations with Ernie for 7PM specifically saying it was for the little woman's 60th birthday. Was greeted by the hostess as well as the assistant manager with a very warm happy birthday wish which made her feel very special. Noticed the entire staff was dressed in Halloween themed costumes our waitress which I believe was Adriana was dressed up as Beetlejuice. Was very helpful and very respectful along with s very sincere birthday wish. She recommended Chef Michael's special which was a sliced steak with a reduction or demi glaze on the top which was extraordinary my better half ordered the Cowboy Steak cooked to perfection. We started with tremendous appetizers of calamari and the onion soup which we shared. Obviously the desert came with a single candle and the wonderful happy birthday song. The service, food and the wine everything was Exquisite, it couldn't have been any better. My compliments to Ernie his staff as well as Chef Michael and last but not least to Beetlejuice for making the night extra special for the birthday girl..... Beetlejuice.. Beetlejuice.. After what seems like forever during the quarantine, my fiancé and I got tired of cooking and were dying to eat some good food from somewhere locally. Paragon has always been our go-to during normal weeknights. They have an amazing beer selection, and the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable about the selection. They also usually have themed nights, like trivia night, which is a lot of fun. Anyway, we ordered the Ahi Tuna Crisps appetizer, the Spicy Clams app, the shrimp ceviche app, summer tacos, and short ribs entree. Honestly, this is the happiest I've been all quarantine. I audibly made happy eating noises with every bite of the clams, and even licked the styrofoam clean. I'm not embarrassed to admit that, it was THAT good. The ceviche was fresh and perfect to start summer. The ahi tuna crisps were literally to die for. I have no idea how I are everything, because it was an obscene amount of food. My fiancé's short ribs were fall off the fork tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes that it came with had to have been made by a wizard because there's no natural way that they tasted so good. Eating the summer tacos was like eating a rainbow. They even threw in some truffle fries for us! I always recommend PT&T to people who love good food and cold beer. You can't go wrong, especially in quarantine. It's the best food I've eaten in 2 months. read more

Extensive beer menu, but have run out of 2 out of the 4 we ordered. However the food almost makes up for it. Decent specials

We waited 2 weeks after the opening to check it out. They are still working out the kinks. Bartender was overly friendly when she remembered we were there. Got us plates for our apps but no napkins or silver ware. We ordered the tuna flatbread and it was fresh and tasty. We had soup which was a roasted tomato chipotle. It had a nice kick. For dinner we opted for sandwiches. The Cuban did nothing for us. The short rib sandwich was excellent. Sangria was just ok but a bargain at 15$ a pitcher. Hubby was disappointed in the craft beer selection. Only one dark beer on tap. Too many IPA and pale ales etc. overall ok. We will try again. I work in a restaurant and observing the servers I can solve most of the issues in a heartbeat. I hope they can too. read more

I'm not a beer drinker so this review is not considering the assortment of craft beers. The restaurant had an upscale feel but the food is a blend of high end and bar food. LOVE Paragon! Went to their first brunch today and loved everything about it! They had an omelette bar, a carving station, great hot and cold breakfast/lunch options, and awesome desserts...not to mention the unlimited mimosa and bloody mary bar for $15 =) job well done Paragon! I've also had dinner here a few times and have always been pleased with my meals, the Amazing craft beer selection, as well as the awesome service! From the duck quesadillas (slightly spicy but right up my alley), to the honey garlic pork belly, to the herb chicken...it's definitely my new favorite spot. Would highly recommend coming here for a date or a night out with friends, but would also highly recommend making reservations for a Friday or Saturday night. read more

We tried this spot out after hearing rave reviews from friends. The place was crowded but we sat right away (make reservations!) and service was timely and excellent. Chef Eric came to our table and is clearly passionate about his food and restaurant. We're wishing him luck! read more

We just had Sunday Brunch at Paragon Tap & Table. It was our first time trying this restaurant and we will DEFINITELY be back! We enjoyed every single thing we tried which is unusual for a buffet - wonderful omelet station, yummy sausage, bacon and home fries for the side, delicious fresh carved turkey and sliced steak station, outstanding Broccolini and Bean salad, Nappa Cabbage with Chicken salad, bagels and lox, Shepard's Pie.... we are all very full to say the least! Our picky eater even ate 2 servings of pancakes and French toast which he said were the best he's ever had! Lol! The selection of deserts were also great assorted puddings, mini cheesecakes, cannolis and eclairs. Our server was very nice and attentive refilling coffee, water and sodas, clearing plates, etc. We were even greeted by Chef Eric LeVine (2010 Chopped Champion) who came to thank us for coming and to make sure everything was ok! We are very excited to return and try the dinner and craft beer menu! Great job Chef LeVine - outstanding addition to the area! read more

Food was great, and the chef's visit to our table was a nice touch. However, the hostesses were incredibly rude. Short story: They gave away our table right in front of me and were defensive about it. --------------------------------------------- Long story: We checked in with the hostesses on the dot and were asked to wait at the bar because our table wasn't ready yet because the previous customers, we were told, would not get up. Not a big deal at all in itself, but it was strange that the hostesses were complaining to us about the customers. Fewer than ten minutes later, I went back to the hostess station to check on our table. Hostess #1 was explaining to a customer that he would have to wait for a table because he didn't have a reservation, but that one of the reservations was a "no show" and they might be able to sneak him in. Hostess #2 was making a phone call and avoiding my eyes, then said to hostess #1, "They're not answering, give away the table." Hostess #1 gave the guy the good news. Both hostesses were ignoring me, so I jumped in with an, "Excuse me, I just wanted to check on my table," and they said, "Well, we've been calling, and you didn't answer, so..." I only had one missed call on my phone, which I couldn't hear because of the noise near the hostess stand, WHERE I WAS STANDING THE WHOLE TIME. I said, "Please don't give away my table?" And they said,"Yeah, well, we called you, so..." So, at any rate, I reminded them that we checked in on time and that they were the ones who sent us to the bar. Then, one of them literally pointed me out to the other customer and said, "She took your table because she had a reservation." ---------------------------------------- The waitstaff couldn't answer a couple of basic questions about the menu. The spicy chips they set down in lieu of bread were stale but came with a yummy mayo dip. There are decent vegan options, which is nice. But yeah, really rude hostesses for a place in a strip mall. Go if you're nearby, but sit at the bar. read more

I live in NYC and was in NJ for a meeting. I was looking for a quick place to eat and drink before I went back home and found this gem. Over 20 beers on tap! My bartenders Craig and Alex were more than knowledgable as they recommended the duck appetizer and a spencer to wash it down. Boy, did it deliver. I was not in the mood for desert but Alex recommended a flight of IPA of his preference. I was shocked that Paragon delivered with such quality in both service, beverage, and food. Can't wait to come back. read more

Our second visit, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Nice atmosphere, though the physical location is a bit out of character (in the corner of a target parking lot).
