Friendly and attentive staff. Great ambiance. Food was amazing. The seared tuna starter was beyond perfection ! Curated cocktails simply delicious and the steaks are melt in your mouth. Went for a beautiful birthday dinner and this did not disappoint

Went here for a birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. The place is relatively small inside but they have outdoor seating and the were very accommodating. We must have tried every appetizer on the menu and half the entrees. Service was attentive and the food was cooked well. I will say the only thing that disappointed me were the sides. We tried the Mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes and the potatoes au gratin as well as the broccoli rabe. We were not impressed by any of them and the potatoes au gratin looked congealed. The mains and appetizers were amazing tho! I would definitely go back there

Such a cute little restaurant!! Went here for a vday celebration and had the best time. From the staff, to the drinks to the food - everything was top tier!! A couple of us had the prefixes menu and the redt of us ordered off the regular menu so we had a good mix of everything. I would def recommend the tuna tartare, steak and the truffle steak fries. But honestly everything that we ordered was delicious. Nobody had any complaints. This is definitely my top choice for a date night or just a girls night out!!

Ocean Prime Tavern used to be a seafood restaurant getting a new remake over. The remodel looks great; it gave the old place a much-needed modern elegant look. There were less parking in the front but you can easily park in the parking lot in the back. Most of the patrons here are well dressed appropriately for the place. It gives a good ambiance of high class dining. The service overall was good, didn't have to look for service to get our dinnerware changed and water filled. As for the food, the selection was good. Both of us had steak, different cuts but were cooked properly and the meat quality was good for the price we paid for. The French onion soup was the most interesting one I've ever seen before. Overall good quality steak. The only issue I've had with the restaurant was the noise level was just a bit too high and difficult to carry on an intimate conversation unless there's less people. I think the echoes of other conversation really is a bit too much. Maybe the owners need to do something to address this issue. It's probably due to the space it is a bit tighter than other restaurants nearby.

The service was great. The prices were very fair for a steakhouse. We started with a Cesar salad. I don't think the dressing was scratch made. The filet mignon was really good and tender. They had a special sole fish that was good. The bananas foster was pretty good but thought they would bring to table on fire. I think I need to come back and try a couple more items.

Highly recommend, my family and I came here for a special occasion and instead of going with our typical local steakhouse we decided to try Ocean Prime as we know it really opened up and had good reviews. It definitely delivered, service was awesome, food was amazing, and also the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. The interior is truly magnificent. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and the cowboy ribeye. Highly recommend the cowboy ribeye along with the bernaise sauce and horseradish cream. We also ordered the thick cut bacon, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, cream spinach, truffle Fries and Mac n cheese. Thought the thick cut bacon was too fatty, but everything else was very good. Def not the best fries but solid nonetheless. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

Nice upscale restaurant in downtown Cranford. Great ambiance and tasty drinks. Not a traditional steakhouse but the steaks are delicious.

I ordered Pasta Fagioli for lunch and it was a ten out of ten. The tomato broth was flavorful and did not any salt or pepper to be added to it. Notice he didn't include a picture...like I DID, which clearly shows REAL clams with REAL shells. There were no "canned clams" like the liar, Herman S (S for STUNAD) describes. But THEN...I saw where the idiot was from, and saw what he was really upset about. They were showing "FOX NEWS" on one of their TVs behind the bar. (To be fair, there was another one showing MSLSD, but STUNAD doesn't mention that.) The jackass was just triggered at one of the tv's and felt it his responsibility to leave a lie of a review. What a snowflake! He was mad at a restaurant because they weren't waving a bunch of rainbow flags and dared to show a news source that actually tells the truth from time to time. How much ya wanna bet Herman S has purple hair? LOL! The dinners here are great, as was the linguini allá vongole! And as for Herman S...just let me catch you. I promise, you'll wind up stuffed in a COFFEE CAN.

Diners and costumers like…read moreme praise the authentic homestyle dishes, standout flavors, generous portions, and exceptionally very friendly and warm service, though some of my companions note a plain ambiance and higher price points ( for me their pleasing food quality and taste outweighs the price ). The Chicken Sisig, Palabok, pork BBQ and sizzling Biko with ice cream are a must-try from the food menu. The appetizers, like the piping hot vegetable lumpia and their humongous portion of Halo-halo as dessert are highly recommended by me and other reviewers. When we dined at this place, the whole staff gave me a feeling as if I was eating at an aunt's house, with the owner and staff providing very welcoming, family-style care. I have been living in NY for more than 30 years, have already eaten in so many low and high-end Filipino restaurants, in terms of food quality and taste, I may say this by far is the best that I have experienced. If given the chance to be in New Jersey again, I will definitely, 100% be back to this place for their delicious and flavorful food. Some of my companions point out that the seating area is relatively small, which can lead to limited availability during peak times, and a few note the interior decor is fairly plain but it did not matter to me because the food that I ordered/tried were great and amazing (properly spiced, cooked very well and soooooooo delicious!! ). Food portions are generous, presentation was appetizing and excellent, staff service was attentive and great ( I noticed that our water glasses were always filled up which is a service very consistent in so many high-priced restaurants that I have been ). Table setting is good, food utensils and plates were very clean ( yes, I checked it! ). I am extremely satisfied with my food experience and the hospitality of the owner and their staff in this Filipino restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!!!

Service wasn't that great and we were the only customers there at the time then other guest staggered in . I'm all for restaurants thriving and always wish them luck but holy cow prices are crazy average appetizers are $16.50 or more and entree dishes are $25 or more for serving sizes and flavors are really lacking in a lot of dishes . Lechon was cut thinner not the usual big chunks and the oil tasted old and was greasy . Sinigang with the Baboy was very underwhelming the Baboy wasn't boiled down enough . The sisig has too much of a soy sauce taste and way too much mayo on top . The chicharron bulaklak was okay could have used a bit more seasoning and seemed to be a popular item that day . The BBQ stick was decent but not for $18 . Being Filipino myself I know everyone has their own way of making certain dishes so people may like it but in my opinion I've had better at a few other spots . Wishing them all the best .

The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. I was greeted promptly by a friendly young lady at the front and she suggested that I try the beef empanadas. They only cost a few dollars so I went ahead and bought two. So as I walked to the car, which was conveniently parked in the lot behind the restaurant, I immediately unwrapped my empanada. At first, I thought it was going to be like other empanadas that I've tried which have a crispy shell however these empanadas are similar in a way, but are very different in texture. These empanadas are a bit softer on the outside and have a denser inside filling which include potatoes and beef and it was quite delicious. I thought I could eat both of them, but after one I was full. I will definitely be back to the restaurant since I'm always in that area and it's literally five minutes from where I live. I can't wait to try other items on their menu.

We initially tried to place a delivery order, but delivery wasn't available at the time due to a system/machine issue, so we had to go in person to order, which was disappointing. I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with all the works, which is similar to Chinese fried rice. The quality of the rice and the meat was very good and everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely salty. I was told soy sauce is added to the rice, and since I usually don't add soy sauce to my fried rice, the flavor was overpowering. If it weren't for the heavy saltiness, it would have been excellent, but I couldn't eat it. My friend ordered the traditional Peruvian ceviche, made with fresh fish, lime juice, red onion, sweet potato, and other ingredients. He added hot sauce and said the flavors were good, but something--possibly the lime or soy sauce--was very potent, to the point where even the hot sauce couldn't balance out the saltiness. Another friend ordered the Arroz Chaufa with shrimp and unfortunately had to throw it out as well due to the saltiness. It was a shame, especially for first-time customers. Overall, the food quality seemed good and the ingredients were fresh, but the salt level made the dishes unenjoyable for us. With better balance, these dishes could be really amazing.
