Found this on Yelp. Thank you for the helpful reviews! We were greeted with big hellos and smiles. Again, we're a group of 7. We were seated promptly and offered beverages. The coffee is very smooth. I had multiple cups. The menu has great choices. I settled on the Greek omelette. It came with home fries and I chose the biscuit. OMG - get the biscuit! It's wonderful. The potatoes were cooked crispy as I requested. The portions are generous and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Our server Minal was delightful. We had a great time with her.

When we're on a road trip we love getting off the interstate to find somewhere to stop for breakfast. We look for an old-school diner, preferably with deep booths, 60s decor, filled with locals and all the classics on the menu. Paradise Diner fit the bill perfectly! Nothin' too fancy, just a really lovely restaurant, staffed by the friendliest people, adorable decor and very neat and clean. And our breakfast was delicious. We visited at around 9am on a Saturday morning in July. It wasn't too busy, service was quick and efficient, with plenty of coffee top-ups. We'll be back next time we're heading south!

Everything was great - the meal and the service were outstanding. I was rather surprised that no one else was there - the joint should have been jumping! Now they do have their holiday decor up -- but in a festive interesting conversation starter sort of way

Came across this hidden gem in Fredericksburg while on a winter ride. The inside is an eclectically decorated small diner, and I was greeted immediately by I did have to wait a few minutes for a table, as it was pretty busy. I had the Chipped Beef combo #2, and it was PERFECT. The eggs were just right, the gravy had a smooth texture with no grit, and the perfect flavor. The biscuit had the right texture for the gravy. The home fries (with peppers!) complemented the rest of the meal very well. I left well filled, but not overstuffed. The coffee was piping hot, and was exactly as expected. The server was friendly and efficient, getting my meal to me fast, and being attentive without being intrusive. I'll definitely be back!

My son loves their breakfast, so I decided to order us some steak and cheese subs for dinner, which comes with a side of fries. It was ordered through DoorDash and it took awhile to get it. The steak was real steak, but it was chewy and some parts couldn't be eaten. The fries were a strange, floppy, thin steak fry looking thing that I've never seen before. It was cold, soggy and floppy. The price was good, but I will say in this case, you get what you pay for.

Came here on a whim. The service is welcoming and kind. Did a great job interacting. The place was clean and appeared to have plenty of aesthetics to show the culture. It was quiet as well. I ordered a simple cheese burger and onion rings. Burger was cooked to order but the rings were a little too processed. It was not freshly made. Wife has a Greek burger which was tasty. We had a fun chocolate moose dessert. It is not local to area but from Maryland so mostly local. Enjoyable.

Our bartender/server was Lashone and she was funny, fast and friendly! She was pouring drinks for the ENTIRE restaurant and didn't miss a beat!! The breakfast menu is small but everything sounded fantastic. I chose the Steak Tacos; my husband chose the brie and bacon frittata (added by the chef since the quiche was sold out. Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. 5 stars for her and my food; 1 for the frittata. I don't want to average it and tank the rating. We'll be back soon to see Lashone!

She made sure to let me know there were specials written on the wall in chalk. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza crepe, but instead of ham and bacon, how it's originally made, I had just pepperoni. I would have added onion, but I thought a $1 upcharge for onion was far too much, so i didn't add it on principle alone. The crepe came out pretty quickly! It was very good, my only "gripe" is that the cheese and pepperoni didn't get a lil burn to it, like a pizza would have. I love burnt cheese and a lil char on my pepperoni! My sweet crepe, I got apples, sweetened condensed milk, walnuts and whipped cream. This was also very good! Not too sweet, just sweet enough! The apples retain their heat a bit, though, and i burnt me mouth, but that's my own fault. I will definitely be coming back, probably alone again, as it's a rather tiny establishment. This is definitely a hidden gem in fxb!

As you walked, the restaurant is clean, cozy and vibrant. There were 3 items ordered: 1) Avocado Toast 2) Cuban Sandwich 3) Apple French Toast. Let's start with the avocado toast, as it was presented on a platter with two grain toasted topped with smashed avocado and your choice of eggs which in this case was medium over easy and it comes with your selected sides - masala's with balsamic. Everything was delicious but I prefer my eggs to have a slight crust around the whites. The next item was the Cuban sandwich which didn't come in your typical Cuban style pressed sandwich. This was more a settle and healthy approach using 2 slice sourdough, pork, ham, honey mustard and pickles. The flavor was there as a Cuban version but kinda of a unique way of presenting it. For dessert, I wanted to try the apple stuffed French toast but only order half which comes with 2 pieces instead of 4. On the menu, it stated it was stuffed but I only found 2 pieces of apple chunks so I wasn't able to taste the full effect. It was also garnished with fresh blueberries and a bottle of warm syrup. Our server Kaya was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't mind making another visit to try other items on their menu.

The French toast was mediocre. The home fries were also flavorless. The coffee was bitter. We ate at a cheap, popular national breakfast chain yesterday and found that to be more flavorful than this place. I wish this place well, but the next time I'm in VA, I'll be heading back to the cheap national breakfast chain.

The rooms are nothing fantastic, they feel very early 2000s which isn't bad but isn't great either. I feel the bathroom could use a remodel because the sink drains were clogged, and the bathroom felt very outdated. The room was spacious though with two queen beds, a chair and very cold A/C. It also had a nice tv in the room too. Beds also felt very comfortable which is nice for a hotel. This company spreads and provides charity catering throughout the community with multiple outlets. Lexi was very patient as she explains how the menu works. I ordered 3 items: 1) Loaded baked potato 2) Fried fish 3) Chicken and waffles. I just wanted to taste the baked potato without any protein on top. I don't know what it was that had an off taste, maybe the butter. The potato itself was soft topped with cheese, green onions and a little bland. The chicken and waffle were tasty. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like it but it was well seasoned and the waffle was soft. There are so many options for your sides. So for the fried fish, the appearance looks delicious but it was very thin and dry. Even with the tartar sauce it was still dry. I was really looking forward to it. The sides I selected were fries and hope cakes (which are sweet corn bread). Their beverages are on point, I got their lemonade and sweet tea. Lexi was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is only opened on Fridays-Sundays for regular business but since they do multiple catering events, they are open 7 days a week. They also offer Sunday brunch between the hours of 9a-3p which the entire dining room is open with mocktail and coffee station. There isn't a buffet during the brunch but a la carte off the menu. I would make a return visit to try their brunch menu in the near future.
