My gf has been begging me to take her here for burgers. She went on and on about how good they are. Not so much! It was a frozen patty that cost $10.99 with no side. After paying the check, I noticed I was charged for a side, but I didn't get one and even asked. 3 ppl ate for $62

Found this on Yelp. Thank you for the helpful reviews! We were greeted with big hellos and smiles. Again, we're a group of 7. We were seated promptly and offered beverages. The coffee is very smooth. I had multiple cups. The menu has great choices. I settled on the Greek omelette. It came with home fries and I chose the biscuit. OMG - get the biscuit! It's wonderful. The potatoes were cooked crispy as I requested. The portions are generous and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Our server Minal was delightful. We had a great time with her.

Came across this hidden gem in Fredericksburg while on a winter ride. The inside is an eclectically decorated small diner, and I was greeted immediately by I did have to wait a few minutes for a table, as it was pretty busy. I had the Chipped Beef combo #2, and it was PERFECT. The eggs were just right, the gravy had a smooth texture with no grit, and the perfect flavor. The biscuit had the right texture for the gravy. The home fries (with peppers!) complemented the rest of the meal very well. I left well filled, but not overstuffed. The coffee was piping hot, and was exactly as expected. The server was friendly and efficient, getting my meal to me fast, and being attentive without being intrusive. I'll definitely be back!

When we're on a road trip we love getting off the interstate to find somewhere to stop for breakfast. We look for an old-school diner, preferably with deep booths, 60s decor, filled with locals and all the classics on the menu. Paradise Diner fit the bill perfectly! Nothin' too fancy, just a really lovely restaurant, staffed by the friendliest people, adorable decor and very neat and clean. And our breakfast was delicious. We visited at around 9am on a Saturday morning in July. It wasn't too busy, service was quick and efficient, with plenty of coffee top-ups. We'll be back next time we're heading south!

Everything was great - the meal and the service were outstanding. I was rather surprised that no one else was there - the joint should have been jumping! Now they do have their holiday decor up -- but in a festive interesting conversation starter sort of way

Came here on a whim. The service is welcoming and kind. Did a great job interacting. The place was clean and appeared to have plenty of aesthetics to show the culture. It was quiet as well. I ordered a simple cheese burger and onion rings. Burger was cooked to order but the rings were a little too processed. It was not freshly made. Wife has a Greek burger which was tasty. We had a fun chocolate moose dessert. It is not local to area but from Maryland so mostly local. Enjoyable.

Our waiter, Jack, was an absolute superstar. He was knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and incredibly helpful with our selections. He truly made the evening special. We started with the calamari and a salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and pomegranate unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it, but it was absolutely delicious! The complimentary bread served with their infused olive oil was outstanding and worth mentioning on its own. For our entrées, my husband and I both ordered specials the Lobster Ravioli and the Halibut. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also enjoyed an excellent red blend wine. By that point, we had enjoyed enough wine that I completely forgot to take photos of the specials! We finished with the cannoli special dessert, which was good, though not quite as memorable as the rest of the meal. Most of all, we can't thank Jack enough for the great service, laughs, and overall experience. It's rare to find food and hospitality that work together so perfectly. We'll definitely be back very soon!

I've become a tougher reviewer over the years because food is expensive, and if I'm paying for a…read moredining experience, I expect more than "good enough." I've been to this restaurant before, years ago, and I probably would have said it was good. Sadly, today's visit was awful. This is often presented as Fredericksburg's version of upscale dining, but it just isn't. The pasta tasted store-bought, the flavor profiles were flat, and the tomato sauce was overwhelmingly acidic. The mozzarella appetizer with lemon butter? Absolutely not. It felt like I was eating a culinary mistake from the 1970s. It looked like a grilled cheese sandwich covered in sauce and drenched in lemon butter. Nothing about it worked. The arancini was forgettable. My dining partner couldn't even finish the lasagna. It was extremely over-sauced, sloppily presented, and tasted only a small step above something you'd buy frozen at the grocery store. To be fair, the Pomodoro was the only dish at the table that was reasonably enjoyable. However, even that felt overpriced for what was presented. When you're charging premium prices for a simple pasta dish, I expect exceptional ingredients, technique, or house-made pasta. This wasn't that. It felt like a basic pasta dish with a premium price tag attached to it. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the restaurant's reputation, but at these prices, "decent" simply isn't enough. The lone bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and apologetic. Honestly, the service is the only reason this review gets a star. If I were rating the server alone, it would have been three stars. The atmosphere didn't help. It was cold inside the restaurant, extremely loud, and the lighting seemed to have an identity crisis. One minute it was dim, the next it was bright. If there hadn't been so many elderly people dining, I might have thought I had accidentally wandered into a rave. I couldn't hear my dinner partner without leaning across the table. Even our server apologized and mentioned that it's not usually that loud. I left genuinely disappointed. If you've never ventured beyond Fredericksburg, you might consider this fine dining. But if you've experienced great Italian food elsewhere, you'll likely know there's a significant difference. Significant. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on nearly every level.

Now, let me be clear: Nicole the bartender is the sole reason this place isn't getting the kind of rating you give a broken lawnmower. She was thoughtful, attentive, and smiled like she actually meant it--which is rarer in restaurants these days than a Baptist drinking a margarita in public. But then the food showed up and dragged the whole evening back down the hill. The flatbread pizza was so thin I'm convinced the crust started life as a Nabisco cracker. It was edible, in the technical sense. The calamari, on the other hand, was about 85% breading--looked like somebody dumped a bag of fried socks on a plate. Not greasy, I'll give 'em that, but mostly just a pile of extra coating searching desperately for a squid. So, yes, Bravo did better... but only because Nicole held the rope while the rest of the meal dangled over the cliff.
