Went in for an evening meal. Service was fantastic. I haven had a homemade salisbury steak in years. It was amazing. Soup came first, very good. If I had to ding anything would be the salad before the meal. Was pretty much iceberg lettuce with 2 slices of cucumber and 2 slices of tomato. Super cool to find this "hole in the wall"! No a lot of people and the service was very attentive and helpful. Food was very good and I would recommend it to everyone and hope to go back again. If you're from King George and haven't gone here, you'll get banished from the county!!! The food... Lord don't get me STARTED on how yummy it is. I've gone here since I was in elementary school and the quality has never decreased. They have a good selection of traditional American and Greek dishes. It's what you'd expect from a local diner but better. Service is always phenomenal! The waitresses are very friendly and know what to recommend. Definitely a hidden gem. Huge menu and you can get breakfast all day. Had the Greek omelette which was made the right way with the ingredients cooked in the egg, not on top. Great Mom and Pop diner! This is my first time here and it won't be the last. I had the chicken souvlaki. It came with chips and a cup of soup. The soup was lemon chicken and rice. It's somewhere to eat with almost no other choices in the area. Decent Greek food for takeout, plus diner basics. Expect absolutely no ambiance, staff are very friendly but assume you're in no hurry to get served or to pay when you're done. read more

if I could give 0 I would. The owner/manager stopped me at the door while I was letting my 5 year old pick out ice cream to interrogate me about my therapy dog. I didnt want to take him in because I heard from others how standoffish the lady was. All i wanted to do was get ice cream pay for it and leave. She just wouldn't stop with the questions and at that point I wanted to leave. 1. i fully realize that people tend to fake service animals and ruin it for the rest of us my issue is she needs to fully understand what she can and can't ask 2. I also am aware that nobody should be asked the questions that she did with the attitude that she did. I told her that she shouldn't act the way she did over something so ridiculous and was told to get out by the worker bee trying to look good in front of her boss. it's not a shock that we've been to the place several times and they've never been busy. We were looking to grab some food on our way to Montross. Our waitress, Ashley, was delightful! She was very attentive and fun to chat with. Great experience! I've been living in King George for 14 years and I had never been there until this past Saturday. My bicycling club decided to stop in and eat together after a ride and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to bring tables outside so that we could all sit together. Our waitress, Ashley, was outstanding! She managed the 14 of us extremely well, keeping our orders accurate and timely and refilling our beverages frequently. .my veggie omelette was perhaps the best veggie omelette I've ever had - slight crunch, seasoned well, and savory filling. Absolutely LOVE this place. I think my photos say it all. I came to King George on a road trip with my bestie (Grandfather) and we came here each morning for breakfast. This will become a tradition. Certainly one of he best breakfast spots I've eaten at and the best for me in this area. Such courteous and kind waitstaff and the give you large portions. Very little place lol but nice and neat. It has about six table, very quaint. The menu is large prices are reasonable. I ordered eggs, grits toast and steak. I won't say it was the tastiest meal I've ever had, but it was adequate. I prefer grits way thicker not runny. I personally like my food seasoned a lot more, but A1 works well. I food a 3 and service a 4. They are ver nice and super attentive. They food may not wow you but the service certainly will! Thicker grits and a more seasoned steak would change the four to a five. I was traveling through King Georges recently and stumbled upon this locally owned restaurant. I'm glad I did! The people are super friendly and accommodating. I learned that the owner is Greek and his wife is Turkish. So I ordered the yummy Greek platter. It was huge as you can see from the picture and I had already eaten a part of it. It was all good, but I especially liked the dolmades, pita, hummus and tzaziki. The prices were great and the portions were huge. I will definitely be stopping by again. read more

Checked out this place while camping locally in the area. First this place is easy and covenant to find located right off the road on Route 3. Parking was not a issue there was plenty of gravel parking. Service was great. The waitress was friendly and was able to seat our group of 8 with no issues. She continued to give drink refills without prompting throughout the meal. It impressed us that they were able to do a lunch item at breakfast time. So our 5 year old was able to have a corn dog at 7:30 in the morning. The food selection was broad enough to give everyone enough of a choice. Several people had omelettes which they use American cheese not cheddar. Also the omelettes are served with home fries and there is no option for substitutions. Someone ordered the special which was pancakes with strawberries, eggs, and meat. For some reason it came with blueberries not strawberries. Overall we enjoyed our breakfast and would visit again. read more
