This is a cute little spot with outdoor seating. The interior is clean and modern looking. There are tables set for 2 or 4 as well as a small bar area. I ordered the Lomo Saltado con Carne because I have had this dish in the past and I wanted to try their version. The waiter took my drink and meal order and quickly returned with my beverage and two containers of sauce. He explained that one was a green jalapeno/habanero sauce and was slightly spicy, the second one was a mixture of mayo, mustard and vinegar. He suggested applying a bit of each to my entree. My meal was amazing. After tasting the entree and accompanying rice and beans, I did as the waiter suggested and applied both sauces to the entree. It was amazing!! I also mixed the rice into the bowl of beans to get all that delicious liquid! I can't wait to go back again this month and dine here again!

We both enjoyed the edamame appetizer topped with sea salt, and when our entrées arrived, we immediately noticed the generous portion sizes. He ordered the garlic chicken special, which was decent but unremarkable. I chose the pineapple fried rice with chicken and enjoyed it, though I would have liked more pineapple and slightly larger pieces of chicken rather than the thin slices served. Overall, the experience was fine but not memorable. We don't regret dining here, though if we skipped it on a future visit to town, we wouldn't feel like we missed out.

Nothing could be further from the truth as the place was packed. I came-and I was not the only one-seeking vegetarian options among a region not full of them. I wasn't wowed at them using generic grocery store bottled tea. The food, however, was better. A set of spring rolls came with fresh vegetables and a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. My tofu was savory, spicy, and very fried. Despite the crowds, service was reasonably good. On a nicer day, covered outdoor space would have been available to sit. The experience would rate a bit lower in an urban area in my mind. But given that any urban area is a long way from here, I was happy with what I found.

At first we weren't impressed. It's a seat yourself place and the girls at the counter greeted us. And then we sat. And sat. We almost got up and left, but then our server came around the corner and looked shocked. Apparently no one told her we were there. After that though, she was ON POINT. We started with full size salads (we were hungry after hiking all day) - Caesar for Hubby (with chicken), because that's how he rolls, and the Ledo Italian for me. The Caesar dressing looked a little thick, but it was amazing! You can taste all the layers of flavor, even a hint on anchovy. Just the way it's supposed to be. What he really loved was the chicken! It was hit and fresh off the flat top. Super tasty. My Italian was good too - full of fresh ingredients. I did note that the menu pics show it has salami and pepperoni in it, but mine was missing the pepperoni. Not a big deal. The dressing was really interesting. It's called Ledo Romano Cheese and Herb Dressing, which I was picturing more as a vinaigrette, but it was actually creamy. Really flavorful though! It also comes with black olives and pepperonchinis, but I always skip those. On to the pizza - we ordered extra cheese and pepperoni. This is NOT NY style, so if you are expecting that, you are in the wrong place. What it is is a distinct flaky crust rectangle. They don't use mozzarella, either - it's smoked provolone. But do t let that bother you, the flavor is fantastic. The sauce has a hint of sweetness, which I actually prefer. You can taste the tomatoes better that way. It was loaded with cheese and that thick sliced pepperoni that they seem to be known for. Fantastic service, really (surprisingly) tasty food and decent prices will have us back again when in the area. The only reason they lose a star is because the crust on our pizza could have used a few more minutes in the oven. It was doughy.

She was friendly, attentive, and always on top of everything we needed. The food was great as well. The pizza was a little greasy, but it was still delicious and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Honestly, I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews because our experience was fantastic. What really stood out was the customer service. One person in our group accidentally left their glasses behind, and Jocelyn actually ran outside and chased us down to make sure we got them back. That level of care is rare these days. Overall, great food, excellent service, and an experience that exceeded expectations. Huge shoutout to Jocelyn--20/10 service!

I went because they had gnocchi on the menu and I thought how bad could it really be how bad can Italian food be right? I also had read in a previous review about their Caesar dressing and how it had real anchovies in it and it was homemade. I was super excited to have the Caesar salad with chicken as my meal as I wasn't that hungry and I love Caesar salad dressing with anchovies. I'm giving this place two stars because the waitress was extremely nice now granite we were the only people in the restaurant two other couples did come in as we were sitting there. Between the local reviews, the empty parking lot and then the country music on in an Italian restaurant I should've known. But we forged ahead. So we ordered the garlic basil shrimp as an appetizer, it was good. It was fine, but it lacked a lot of flavor. My son then had the gnocchi which he substituted the Parmesan sauce for red sauce and asked for a meatball instead of the chicken or sausage. I again ordered the big Caesar salad salad with chicken as my entrée, along with a glass of wine, that clearly had been opened a bit too long and not properly sealed. The Kohl's frozen garlic bread from your freezer section of your grocery store had more flavor than the garlic bread that came out with my son's dish the two meatballs that were huge in size had no flavor at all while the gnocchi was great and consistency. The sauce itself again lacked any flavor at all. My lettuce was not fresh the Caesar dressing if it was homemade was very thin and watery , and the chicken breast they asked for it to be put on top of it had no seasonings on it whatsoever. I would not go back here and I hope that you reading this considers it, this review and what all the locals told me, before you decide to go. And for those of you that are looking to maybe start a business in the colonial Beach area an Italian restaurant that delivers Italian food would be phenomenal.

Our seafood pasta was delicious and loaded with a good amount of seafood. The prices are very fair and the service was good. The wine selection was ok. The food was very tasty, that's the most important thing. ( PS: It's completely authentic to have anchovies in a Cesar salad, but it's not commonly added in the majority of restaurants. Because anchovy is usually a love it or a hate it ingredient, it would be helpful to mention on the menu that the Nonna's Cesar salad dressing contains anchovies.)
