We came to king George today so we decided to come to Kings for lunch. We ordered a large vegetarian pizza and some fresh cut fries. The fresh cut fries are very good. Cooked to a golden brown and is tasty. The unsweetened tea is good as well. The staff were very friendly and took our order quickly. The inside is decorated nicely and it was not busy. This was an excellent choice to come for lunch. The pizza has a lot of toppings and the crust is golden brown. A great tasting pizza. read more

The food is good but they don't carry yellow banana peppers. If only they had red relish and yellow banana peppers, they'd earn a 10. Still, the steak and cheese is great. Put more meat on the extra meat, add the proper peppers -yellow banana peppers and red relish, whew.. this could be everything. . I go all the way to Northern Virginia for that style deli sandwich. Went here for the time and wasnt impressed. They advertise warm and cozy but more like cold and sterile and too bright. The food was average. The waitress was friendly except when I asked if the employee a few tables down could stop ripping the paper for the tables that they use for table clothes and was told no. For 20 minutes we had to hear her tearing sheets of paper that was so annoying and her response was no she has to keep doing it!!! The food was bland and quality was poor only exception was the hand cut fries were really good! The decor was ugly or lack of I should say and no music. We will not be back. The mushrooms that I had this evening were beyond recognition, NASTY burnt black and horrible. Couldn't eat them and threw the entire order in the trash. Who ever was the Mushroom cook tonight should have saw the burnt black beyond recognition non chewable mushrooms when he/she took them out of the deep fryer. Who ever put the NASTY mushrooms in the to go container should have seen that those mushrooms should not have gone out the door but instead tossed in the trash. Highly disappointed! I'm not sure what's up with the drab reviews on here but I think they're pretty amazing. They have the best veggie spaghetti I've had. No offense to Vinny's across the street, but King's wins. We have been coming here for years and it's always so yummy. I like that they have both Mexican food and Italian food so everyone is always happy. The spicy ranch is like a secret family recipe and if you order the bacon cheese fries with a side of it you will find yourself craving it again! The salads are fresh and the atmosphere is charming. Seems like the whole town comes on the nights, usually Friday evening it's packed full, and there's always something fun on the TV. The daily specials are super good too! read more

This is my second visit. The service at the bar was quite slow. Our meal was delayed in arriving from the kitchen, and my sweet boyfriend had to return his cold food to be heated up. My food was warm and rather soggy. I love to eat, and overall, this meal made me sad. read more

Went in here on a Saturday night, it was dead although my gf says they draw a pretty good crowd normally. Which seems odd given you have Vinny's right there too, and a couple of other pizza places nearby. They have a lot of selections on the menu, pastas, subs, pizzas, and even a Mexican menu. Pizzas have a pretty thin crust, good toppings. Definitely enjoyed the toasted ravioli appetizer. They have some sauces that come with it, the marinara sauce is ok, but I have no idea what the white, creamy somewhat spicy sauce was - didn't really like that one. Overall, a decent place with competitive prices, costs a little bit less than Vinny's, but I prefer the food at Vinny's a little bit more. read more

There was an old soul in the corner with a mean brow, but I quickly averted my eyes. Yikes. For a local joint, the inside sits a lot of people. It was pretty dark inside, so it gave me more of a bar atmosphere. Out of the kitchen comes the waitress with a bright and cheerful demeanor. Old guy in the corner doesn't seem so bad now. Sat a booth, ordered a drink. Tea, unsweetened. Their menu was massive. I wasn't in the mood for a full blown Italian meal, but word in these parts were that their Kaiser sandwiches were tasty. At $4.99 for their Kaiser chicken (grilled) sandwich with fries, I was sold. The sandwich was a lot bigger than I had imagined. The bread was toasted so that is a plus. I really enjoyed their fries because they were thin fries. Add a little pepper to those bad boys and you're in for a treat! I ate, and it was satisfying. For $4.99, I couldn't complain. I finished, paid for my meal and rode off into the sunset. Pros: cheap grinds (lunch menu), tasty thin fries, lots of seats Cons: Didn't see a whole lot of staff, so I can see how others can wait a while for service. read more

Really didn't feel like cooking last night and decided to try their pizza for take out. Even though it sat in the car for 25 minutes on the way home it was still so good! Definitely hit the spot! Lots of real cheese, thin hand tossed crust- really yum! I've also been here for lunch with my girlfriends and everything was very good, cheese steaks and hand cut fries- perfect! Definitely good pizza and a really good variety of menu items. I've only been twice, but my family has enjoyed the wings, pizza, and gyro. I ordered a salad topped with grilled shrimp for carryout & I was kinda disappointed. It was only lettuce, tomato, peppers and onions topped with 5 small overcooked shrimp. If they added some more to their salads, they would be much better (olives, cucumber, cheese, something crunchy maybe). Also to get a soda carryout was almost $2 so I declined - you can go to the nearby gas station & get a large soda for $1. read more

I asked how long my personal pepperoni pizza was going to be and I was told by the guy at the counter he didn't know, I take it that ment my pizza wasn't even made before I got there. After waiting too long for service my wife and I decided to leave . I told the owner I would pay for our 2 drinks but I also told him te service was too slow. He told me he doesn't need my business . That's odd.. Most times this place is empty as other nearby restaurants are packed! I wonder why... Maybe it's the slow service , bland food , horrible customer service . UPDATE: I have had it with this place. My children and I came here for dinner. The waitress was extremely rude. When we would thank her the only response we got was mhmm or just plain being ignored. Pissed me off that she treated my children so rudely. Second my son's salad had hair in it. We were not offered a refund just another salad and the dumb waitress even giggled when I told her about the hair. The rude waitress only said thank you and your welcome when she brought the check. Maybe she thought about her tip. She should have thought about it before because I didn't leave one. A month later we decided to give Kings Pizza another chance. Huge mistake. Aside from the terribly bland tacos they gave my son a kids hamburger that was completely raw in the middle. We took it to go so I called them to let them know about it and the cheapskate offered me a free cheeseburger. When I asked her if that was the extent that she was willing to go for giving a child raw ground beef and she kept trying to offer me a free cheeseburger I decided that that would be the very last time we ate at Kings Pizza ever again. read more

We went to the restaurant yesterday and waited up front with another couple who told me they were told they would not be seated for a half hour. Well the restaurant was at least half empty so there was no excuse to leave people standing by the door. They finally seated the other couple and I assumed we would be seated too but in order to avoid seating us, they walked by us looking at the floor so they would not make eye contact. I felt like I was in kindergarten. Finally I stopped one of the girls by calling out to her, since her eyes were on the floor, and asked if she thought this was good for business. I brought my daughter there last week ordered Spagetti marinara and a medium cheese pizza with black olives. The spagetti was overcooked and the sauce had very little taste. The pizza was good but also lacked taste so my daughter asked for oregano and the waitress didn't know what it was. I took maybe two bites and eat just the salad. I didn't say anything because she could tell I wasn't happy because the bowl of spagetti was hardly touched. I told her it wasn't very good at all. When I checked out I didn't say anything but when I got the bill including being charged for the spagetti, I told her that I would pay for it but I've never paid for food that was really bad.
