I didn't realize there was a restaurant called Aladin Mediterranean in Southpoint. It's in a compact area with other businesses such as Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, Hangry Joes and Tropical Smoothie. The restaurant is clean, a full bar, plenty of seatings indoors and out. There were 8 items ordered: 1) Greek Salad 2) Roasted Garlic Butter Wings 3) Taco Pizza 4) Soujouk 5) Musaka 6) Fried Mushrooms 7) Hummus 8) Mushroom Swiss Burger. All the appetizers were delicious individually but as you make your own mini charcuterie as I did. I took a piece of the naan bread, stack it with the hummus, musaka and topped with a half piece of soujouk. The combination of each element made this custom bite simply fantastic. The roasted garlic butter wings were crispy, tender but didn't taste of the garlic only butter. They were still good. The fried mushrooms were on point that were served with a dipping sauce. I really wanted the taco pizza to be awesome but it was lacking flavor. All of the toppings were generous portion, had a nice under carriage but just missing that one component. Alexa the server was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I would make another visit to try other items on their menu.

Aladin Mediterranean Kitchen - Fredericksburg, VA My visit to Aladin Mediterranean Kitchen was delicious and definitely worth the stop! I ordered the Greek Salad with Gyro, the Traditional Hummus, and the Steak Panini -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared beautifully. Our waitress did start off on the wrong foot, and I honestly considered deducting a star. But everyone has a bad day, and to her credit, she returned to our table with a smile and gave us great service for the rest of the meal. I truly appreciated the turnaround. Overall, the food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the dining experience ended on a high note. I'd absolutely come back!

Loved this place! A friend pointed it out when we drove by it and I was craving something Mediterranean yesterday. The staff is very friendly and the food was great! They bring out fresh pita with a dipping oil and the rest of the meal came out pretty quickly too. I got the chicken shawarma platter, a side salad and spinach pies. The chicken was seasoned really well and so tender. I really wish they'd add a mezze platter as an option. There were so many things I wanted to try from the appetizer section of the menu. It was a lot of food for one person but now I've got leftovers for another meal. Will definitely go back to try other dishes!

I have mixed feelings about this place..There was no one there the first time we went. The bartender said it was because of the snow. The Pinktini was nothing to write home about the Mixed kabob platter was fantastic! All of the reviews raved about the flavor and they have it but the service is lacking. We have only sat at the bar but there's ample seating. Both times we came there were no other patrons but the service was lacking. The lamb was very chewy, deserts were frozen and even though they said they were open they cleaned around us even mopping the floor behind our seats and under our feet.FYI:The smell of strong cleaning products around food isn't appetizing at all!

If you are coming through or are local STOP here. WOW, genuinely we would drive from Richmond to eat here. The food is phenomenal. The menu is large but everything we had was amazing. Rasha is an amazing server as well. Some of the best service we have had in a while. The dining room was clean and welcoming. Stop debating where to go with your family and come here-NOW.

It was surprisingly quiet for a weeknight, but the atmosphere was bolstered by their half-price bottled wine special, which was a great find. The restaurant offers an expansive menu with a lot of variety. I'd recommend staying focused on the Mediterranean specialties. I had the spicy hummus which was smooth and came with a side of olive oil, and the falafel platter--served with rice, tahini, and fresh vegetables--hit the right notes for a traditional meal. While also offer items like pizza, pasta, etc. The service was a highlight; both the staff and the fellow guests at the bar were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It's the kind of place where the people make you feel right at home. In terms of value, the pricing is very fair for the portion sizes and quality of the food. Unfortunately, the evening was dampened by a persistent, unpleasant sewage smell throughout the bar area. It was significant enough to make the dining experience difficult and overshadowed what would have otherwise been a very pleasant meal. #Enjoygoodpeople

We went to Aladdin and it was amazing! We had the chicken and gyro rice bowls and they were so filling and tasty. The naan and avocado hummus was wonderful while we waited for dinner, although not long because we had a fantastic server named Alexa. She was very attentive and friendly making sure everything was good. The restaurant is a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with light music and can be enjoyed by all. Go today!

I went here for dinner and the whole place was empty aside from one other table. It was almost 8pm on a Wednesday, so that's probably why. The road work they're doing isn't helpful either, I'll say. I got one of the new Mediterranean bowls, similar to Cava, and it was delicious! They have us plus and olive oil to start, which the spice blend was not the best, but I ate it anyways. In my bowl i got rice, chicken, and tzatziki. It came with two fried pita chips and bit was it tasty! In comparison to Cava it's hard to say. Cava has so many different toppings with theirs, but this one was just as good, just not as customizable. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back! Our server was very nice, a little quiet, but definitely efficient!

It's been a hot minute since I last ate here. But I'm glad I came back. I opted for the bowl of the day (chicken, spicy hummus, rice, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pita chips and olives) and the hummus platter to start with. The hummus was SO GOOD. I should have just ordered the platter as a starter for me, not to share. I could have easily eaten it all myself. Service was great throughout, until we finished the meal. Our server was nowhere to be found and it took almost 20 minutes to get the check. Minor issue, just annoying. Plenty of seating room inside, and ample parking in the lot outside. The menu has a decent variety; give it a try if you haven't. 3.5 rounded up.

The once generous portions have shrunk down to something similar to Chipotle-sized servings. The staff, who used to be delightful, now seem less friendly, and the food just doesn't have the same flavor. Last week, I called to place an order, and they were out of rice. A few days later, I tried again, and when I picked up my food, I noticed the portion size had significantly decreased. Today, I tried to place an order at 7:30 pm for pickup at 8:30 pm, well within their posted store hours of 9:00 pm. The gentleman on the phone informed me that they couldn't prepare my order because they close at 8:20 pm. When I mentioned that their posted closing time was 9:00 pm, he explained that although they close at 9:00 pm, the kitchen shuts down by 8:30 pm, and I needed to pick up my food before then. I had already requested my order at 7:30 pm, well within their timeline, so this was frustrating. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business back to Kabob Corner in Fredericksburg or Stafford.

They have their lunch buffet on weekdays, which is great, as most places only seem to do this on weekends. First impression when walking in was it was a converted Ruby Tuesday, but WOW, they did an EXCELLENT job from replacing the entire ceiling, flooring, tables/booths and even the window shades, to fully updating the restroom too, they clearly dumped a lot of money and effort into this place and it shows! The buffet looks beautiful, not grimey and messy, rather all food items are in clamshell heated servers, which kept the food fresh and piping hot. The offering was excellent, with a plain rice and a more elaborate rice, called Palau. The Qaubili Palau was incredible! Loaded with fresh ingredients and made with an outstanding quality basmati! The lamb that was in it was super tender and not gamey at all, rather perfectly seasoned and sooo very tasty! They also offered a more plain rice, which was slightly seasoned and also very good! Another fav of mine were their meatballs... they tasted like a mild lamb and were just as tender as that too (not sure if they're lamb tho). Flavor of the curry they were in was excellent! Their chick peas and subzi (spinach) were excellent alternatives for those not wanting meat... I definitely enjoyed a few servings of these!! Chicken kabob was beautiful in color and nicely flavored with a tenderness that was spot-on. Service was friendly and they even sincerely cared how the food was, by asking. I'd definitely suggest stopping in to try it for yourself and I look forward to returning, soon!

Atmosphere: The restaurant features an open seating area, plus a separate side section with additional booths and tables. There's a subtle Greek feel to the space that adds character while still feeling casual and comfortable. Food & Popularity: Because Jimmy the Greek is so popular, wait times can vary depending on when you arrive, especially for larger parties of five or more. If you come later in the morning, they may run out of popular items like biscuits and gravy, which are signature breakfast dishes. On rare occasions, we've also experienced food that was slightly underdone (such as eggs under-cooked too soft or French toast that was a bit soggy). Overall Experience: Jimmy the Greek is one of the best breakfast spots in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area and even in several surrounding counties. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it remains one of our top breakfast choices and easily earns five stars. Our experiences have been consistently positive, and the quality of both the food and service keeps us coming back. I highly recommend giving it a try!

It genuinely felt like there were some kind of air-conditioning issues happening, which already made sitting through dinner uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the service didn't make the experience any better. Our server, Diego, seemed annoyed from the very beginning. Maybe he was overworked or having a rough night, but he came across as unfriendly and irritated by fairly normal questions. We ordered a good variety for the table, including the deviled eggs, ranch onion rings, meatloaf, penne with steak, and chimichurri shrimp with mashed potatoes. When I asked whether the quinoa that came with a possible dish I was looking at, could be substituted for something else, Diego responded that it was "good for me" and that I should get it. That wasn't what I asked, and the response felt unnecessarily snarky. Then there was the margarita. Why are we putting regular table salt on the rim of a margarita? It may sound like a small detail, but at this price point and level of restaurant, the details matter. It just felt sloppy. The biggest issue, however, was my chimichurri shrimp. After cutting into one, I realized it was raw. Not slightly underdone. Raw. Eventually Diego came back around and I let him know. He took the plate away, but it took roughly another 30 minutes for the replacement shrimp to arrive. By that point, every single person I was dining with had finished their meal. I essentially sat there while my friends ate and then received my food after dinner was already over. What shocked me even more was that the meal wasn't comped. There was no meaningful attempt to make the situation right despite serving raw seafood and then taking another half hour to replace it. Mistakes happen in restaurants. Kitchens get backed up, servers have bad nights, and food occasionally needs to be remade. What separates a good restaurant from a disappointing one is how those mistakes are handled. Serving raw shrimp, leaving a guest without their meal while the rest of the table finishes, and then charging full price as though nothing happened is not good hospitality. Between the uncomfortable heat, dismissive service, questionable attention to detail, raw food, and the way the situation was ultimately handled, this completely put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun Friday night out with friends. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark in too many ways for me to overlook.
