We went to this location located in Central Park. Fredericksburg va. Because the original place we were going to get food from closed early. So at 9pm we ordered and every meal was very good! I got gyros for my Brothers and they said the gyros were excellent. My husband and I got the ground beef and chicken kabob meals that came with rice, one side of spinach, salad and naan bread. I used to love these guys when they were FOB and in other location off Salem Church by Zips (now another Kabob joint w much friendlier brothers running it), but vowed not to return to the new location years ago after being rudely told I can't order and eat 25 min before closing, and gave my food in to go containers. I told myself never to come back. I understand the circumstances of a war torn currupt or barely even governed locale, but for goodness' sake, appreciate the opportunity of having a business here in beautiful America, where everyone wants to be. I called before ordering at 8:45, "Is it too late to order" and was COMMANDED "BE HERE IN 5 MINUTES WE ARE CLOSING"... ok, understandable. Great. order placed. I was only around the block in the same shopping center. I get there and pay for my food (3 Number 1 kabobs) and some drinks which came to around $60 and added a tip (because that's just normal courtesy) and THEN they complained I ordered too late and now they have to stay late to clean. EXCUSE ME? after I PAY you then you complain, even after I called to verify it wasnt too late to order??? Then DONT take the order. I explained in very simple clear English, that they did not have to take the order. I had options. But no, they wanted the money right? . Well to get the money, you serve the customer. Not take the money and harass them for calling and verifying if it was too late then proceed to complain it was late. I only decided to order from them because I was so much closer than my other preferred spots in the area. Now I was reminded why I stopped coming here. Rude, no idea what customer service is or how to speak to people. Bottom line, u GLADLY took my money, then GLADLY SERVE ME. Just because you grew up in a smileless life, don't import that business practice here. three stars because despite the janky operations, the food was good and I felt bad for the little lady prepping the food. I don't want her to be out of a job. If it wasn't for her, I'd be happy to see this location go out of business just like their failed mall location. We ate at Kabob Corner for lunch today. It was very good. We ordered a lunch special. Husband had beef; I had chicken. Chick peas, potatoes and rice. There were two very large tandoor bread on the side and a little side salad. The lunch specials were under $8 each. There were other larger portions available. Since this was our first time there, we thought we would be safe and take the smaller portions. Plus we on our way to do errands so didn't want to have extra food. The meats were both very good. Nicely spiced and good flavor. I am not really a chick pea fan but these were quite tasty. The potatoes were cooked and mixed with a sauce. I liked the chick peas better. The restaurant was nicely appointed and appeared to be very clean. The reason why this is not 5 stars is the service. The people behind the counter were very nice, all wearing masks, and answered all of our questions. But it was disorganized and they needed more training or perhaps just needed to find their groove. We will definitely go back and hope that things have smoothed out a bit. Or we will call ahead with our order. Good food. Something unique. Hope this chain does well. read more

Small eatery. When you walk in, the dining room is BEAUTIFUL with gorgeous pictures along the wall. And it's so so clean. I don't live here anymore, having moved to California a year ago, so it's always concerning to see the cooks here in Fredericksburg not bothering to wear masks. HOWEVER here there were masks and gloves and I felt *very* safe buying food from them. The smell when you walk into this restaurant makes you want to just drop to your knees because it's so good. It just smells of amazing food and you can tell that they obviously put love into what they make. Like you can honestly just tell that from the smell. When you walk up they don't rush you. They let you take your time and look at the menu which is always a plus. The guy behind the counter was really nice. And after I placed my order it took maybe 10 minutes for them to get it ready. The amount of food that you get is huge. A lot. A large piece of homemade bread maybe naan? I'm not sure. But it's good and well seasoned and not dry or tough at all. I stop in here for lunch at least twice a month when I drive to Fredericksburg. This place never disappoints. My regular is the K7 Chicken and lamb kabobs with chickpeas. The food is seasoned extremely well and the portions are very generous. The counter staff aren't the warmest I've seen, but definitely not rude. The restaurant itself is immaculate. There's a little lady here that always cooks the bread and it is always hot. I usually stop during lunch and the patrons are mostly Persian. I always get my order to go but eat inside. I went here to pick up an order for doordash just to find out it had been stolen, and the customer had come themself to pick it up. So instead of calling doordash themselves to explain the situation and cancel the order, I had to wasted my time and miss out on potential deliveries explaining to support that the order was stolen. When doordash called them, they decided to remake the order even though they already remade it and had it picked up by the customer instead of just having it cancelled. I had to unassign the order myself because of this dumb decision they made that would've wasted another twenty minutes of my time, negatively affecting my completion ratings.
