    Kofta over rice
    Ben C.

Walking in it's def a small place for dine in if that is what you want but you are greeted and very friendly service. You can order from a kiosk or cashier. Simple menu and easy to read. I ordered the Kofta over rice. It wasn't my favorite but it worked well. The rice went well and generous portions. Another order of mix of lamb and chicken which was spot on. Definitely worth trying and going back.

Lamb and chicken combo platters right side had spicy rice

I had a craving for food the first night. Wings were so good I had to go for the platters! Maaan this was so good and Stafford doesn't have too many options. This one was open real late and had some amazing food to get through the night. I love me some halal munchies! Also a very clean establishment cute layout and a yummy dragon fruit Mountain Dew

Chicken over spicy rice with fries and salad. Covered in chipotle sauce and white sauce.

My overall experience was good. The customer service was on point and the food is very flavorful. I say it's the best halal spot in the stafford VA area. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

    Chicken plate.

I ordered a Gyro Bowl through Uber Eats and ended up with just a regular Gyro, which was not what I was craving and definitely not what I paid for. The mix-up left me pretty disappointed. He gave detailed explanation about the dishes that made it taste even better. And the flavors were on point--from the refreshing sourness of the shafuta to the crisp fatoosh salad to the veggie marboka (so good slathered with the green chilis!) to the lamb fasha with fresh hot bread. Flavor and texture combos you won't find elsewhere! And of course we tried the spiced Yemeni coffee. When I mentioned it was my sister's birthday, he brought out a delicious, complementary piece of semolina cake with a honey syrup and two cups of shai So good, and even better with a little shai poured on top! From a cost perspective, you get large portions for a fair price, so be adventurous. Come for the food, stay for the hospitality. This is not an in-and-out-spot: it's a time to linger and enjoy. This place has to be next on your list of places to try.

Faris took time to tell us about the menu and recommended an amazing grill combo! We had grilled lamb chops, chicken, koftah, rice, side salad, fresh pita, and salsas. Two of us couldn't finish it all! The flavors were amazing! I really enjoyed the lentil soup we had with our hummus starter. The soup came out the perfect temperature. Not too hot not too cold legit just right! I had the shai which was delicious! Black tea with spices. And Faris was kind enough to give us each a sample of the shai adani , black tea with condensed milk and spices. I'll for sure order a cup next time. Think chai latte flavor! The restaurant itself is very nice inside and there's an outdoor patio as well! We will for sure be back!

The flavors of the food were decent without too much spice. The mango lassie drink was outstanding! My greatest concern with my visit was not even the 2 hour wait for my meal (I am somewhat patient and understand the overwhelming feeling a busy first night can cause). My concern, as I waited at the window, was the food handling. I watched as the gentleman prepared the seekah kabob of raw beef shaped into a tube onto a skewer and prepared raw chicken onto skewers, in addition to other drippy raw meats, and then help to prepare plates for serving. The young lady at the window was diligently using gloves and changing after payments, for the most part. I wanted to say something, but after a two hour wait and knowing this is their first day, I held my tongue, watched as the gentleman touched all over the outside of my container, and a little bit inside, and took my $40 meal home. I had a lamb chop platter with spinach, salad, and rice with naan, and I wanted to try the butter chicken as well so I got that with chick peas. I threw out the salad, put my food onto a plate and heated everything before blessing my food. Final thoughts...I am giving three stars because I see the potential and would not want a negative review to blow their confidence, and I hope they take time to assess this evening to make improvements on an awesome food truck idea. I will return to give it another try.

The second sign - it smelled nothing at all like a place that makes anything with curry, it smelled like cleaner. The fixtures, décor, and leftover (from the gas station that it used to be) slurpee and other machines all tell me the folks who own this place put nothing at all into it... So, one would hope they put their love into the food.... I tried their beef seekh kabob with a side of chick peas... The flavors and style is more Persian, maybe Afghan, but definitely NOT anything with flavor! Those are bland and basic in preparation, style, and flavor... Indian and Pakistani foods have sooo much more depth of flavor which comes from better preparation and use of spices. The kabob was as flavorful as regular 80/20 ground beef wrapped around a spit... I hardly tasted any spice to it. The chickpeas weren't flavorful at all. The rice (even though it looked like it might be good) was the blandest thing I had, so I hardly ate any. Overall, I tried this place a few years apart and nothing has changed... I have no idea how they stay in business, but I do hope they are successful... They just don't serve the flavors I seek.

I'm utterly disappointed to taste lassi and it was sour and foamy means it was old and stale, it went down to drain. I then tasted Nihari Haleem, there wasn't any nihari or haleem flavor in it but a mixture of broken chicken pieces with naked bones and taste more like daal gosht, absolutely no flavor in it. Biryani also was stale and chicken pieces look old and dark on the outside. Side raita (yogurt) was also foamy and stale. I'm very disappointed because I was very excited to learned we have Pakistani restaurant in Stafford but I guess I'll have to travel up north to satisfy my cravings for desi food. I'm sorry but I don't recommend this restaurant because of this experience of my mine.
