First time going there and it was a great experience. I had the Monday special of turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing and gravy, it also came with a roll. Being very hungry I also got a bowl of chili. I wish I wouldn't of got the chili. Not because it wasn't good because it was a flavorful Harry bowl of chili. I wish I wouldn't of got it because the amount of turkey they give you for 9 dollars is unbelievable! I was with a work group and everyone enjoyed their food. The serving sizes were huge and when you compare to the price an amazing value!! Would definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to go back and try some other items. read more

We ordered the fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and honey, the stuffed pork chop and my daughter got chicken strips and fresh cut fries. The cooks in the kitchen were hand making everything fresh to order. The Brussel Sprouts were amazing! My daughters fries were fresh cut and fried then tossed with sea salt. I called for take out a week ago. Ordered a pizza & homemade chips. As a cook I know a pizza takes at the MOST 15 mins to make; homemade chips take less than a minute. I placed my order at 3:15 & got there at 3:30... the lady at the front desk with the unblended, horrendous purple/blue eye makeup wasn't friendly whatsoever & didn't even go check to see if my food was ready once. I didn't end up getting my food until having to ask if it was ready yet & by then it was 4:15pm. The pizza was cold, tasted like cardboard, very bland and the chips were soft & mushy. That's the last time I ever order from pappys. Very unhappy w my experience. read more

Crazy busy with call in and internet orders, so this small mom and Pop was a bit slow for dine in service. But the wait was worth it. I ate there today before leaving town. Although I remember Arlene owning and operating Pappy's years ago. I am rather impressed with new owners and staff. My son whom has Downs Syndrome suggested what I should eat. Italian hoagie, he had cheese fries and I had an order of Potato Salad. The young lady waiting on us had a smile and was sweet. No matter what we ask for there was always a smile. I have been gone from town for quite sometime. I loved Arlene, but think quite highly of the what I know of as the new owner operator! We just ate dinner here and ordered the "buffalo fries" . The fries were slathered in a hot sauce that was so hot we couldn't even eat the food. When I asked for something else because it was so spicy , they took the food back and then charged me for a replacement. Everything was sopping with grease. Super disappointing read more
