Was sent here as a Uniontown PA staple for... chicken wings. Asked the bartender for a rec like spicy but good flavor and was directed to the jalapeño flavor. They were great! Added the cheesy breadsticks (cajun ranch) and wowwwww. For the win! read more

-- 3/5 We decided to give Rooster's Roost a try for a family meal, mainly because I was looking for wings and their prices seemed pretty reasonable. I ordered the Cajun Ranch wings. The wings were a good size, seemed to be cooked well, and I really liked the Cajun Ranch flavor. Unfortunately, they arrived ice cold. I also would have preferred the wings actually tossed in the sauce instead of having it poured over the top. My kids got the chicken tenders and fries. They were decent, but those also arrived cold. I also ordered the 8-inch Rooster-style Italian. I didn't realize "Rooster style" meant it would come between pizza dough instead of being a traditional hoagie. Interestingly, this was actually piping hot when it arrived, while the wings, chicken tenders, and fries were cold. I'm not really sure how that happened. The sandwich itself was okay, but it was very dough-heavy and I wish the meat had been spread more evenly throughout. Next time I'd probably just order the regular Italian hoagie. The biggest disappointment was my wife's Buffalo chicken salad. The chicken didn't seem to have any Buffalo sauce on it, the bacon was missing, and both containers of ranch had opened during delivery and spilled all over everything. Our delivery was also about 25 minutes late. Someone did call beforehand to let me know there was an issue with the driver, which I appreciated, although I didn't realize it would end up being that late. I called the restaurant about the salad and spoke with a manager. He offered to replace the entire order even though I was only asking to have the salad replaced. They got the replacement out to us pretty quickly, around 15 minutes later. I definitely appreciate the manager taking responsibility and making an effort to correct the situation. Overall, this particular order was disappointing, especially with most of the food arriving cold and the issues with the salad. The manager's response and willingness to make things right is a big reason I'm giving this experience 3 out of 5 stars. I'd still be willing to give Rooster's Roost another try dining in. The wings were big, the Cajun Ranch flavor was good, and I have a feeling the experience would be much better getting everything fresh and hot at the restaurant. read more

Worth the drive for such good food. We also had a terrific server, Allison. Thank you. Met the owner as he walked around thanking all his guests. We wish him well in all his future endeavors. Poutine fries were delicious with loads of cheese and gravy. The chicken was wonderfully crispy and moist/tender. Caesar salad was large and we added chicken in it too. Even though we were full, I could not resist the cheesecake tacos each with a different topping. Cherry, blueberry and apple. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, it's worth the drive. Enjoy. read more

So my wife decide to order Roosters Roo in Uniontown. She call into the store to asked how many chicken tenders do you get for $3. (We usually each get the whole chicken breast for $3) but decided to try the tender especially when we got told we get 3!!! So we order 2 orders od them! Excepting to have 6 chicken tenders! When my wife came back out and opened the white box with foil in it this is what she saw!! Litteraly 1 chicken tender. So I went back in to find out and get my order fixed. After standing there for 15 mins while our other food got cold. A lady finally came over!! I showed and she told me that for 3 dollars you onle get 1 tender not 3!!! Now you imagine my surprise and shocked especially when my wife who was on speaker phone clearly got told 3 pieces for 3 dollars. Ininstead of the lady try to make it right especially since I was there for 15 mins she argued with me and got very rude!!!! And the is what I left with for 2 orders of chicken tenders. Please tell me if you think it was worth the $6 dollars I just paid!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN!!!! Wish I could give a -5 stars read more

Called in a takeout order and when I got the bill there was a $3.70 "takeout fee" that was never mentioned when I ordered. I only found out when I was handed the check. When I asked about it, I was told it was for bags and utensils and that "everyone is doing it" (they're not), and that they've been charging it for a long time. If that's the case, then why not tell customers upfront? After I questioned it, the bartender took an attitude, disappeared into the kitchen for almost 10 minutes, then came back out and avoided me completely. This could've been handled so much better. A simple apology for not mentioning it upfront--and maybe offering to remove it as a courtesy--would've gone a long way. Instead it turned into an uncomfortable situation. It's not even about the $3.70, it's the lack of transparency and the way it was handled. Not a good experience. read more

I received these TINY fried cauliflowers for an appetizer. It took the Waitress FOREVER to check on our table, we were starving and ate most of them, because the waitress took forever. When she came back. I complained about how small the majority of the Cauliflowers were. Some were just crumbs, no Cauliflower(and was a small portion at that). She came back and rudely said the manager said because some were eaten we cannot take them back or refund them. The rest of the night, we were treated very unfairly. Staff even came out and gave us looks because I complained about the cauliflower. When the waitress brought the check out, she waited for me to pay her, she stood over me. I could not believe they did not honor their product and take off bill or give us a new order with actual fried cauliflower. My brothers chicken was cold and dry and my cheese french fries were also dry and barely any cheese. The food was not good quality and we were all treated horribly by all the staff. Very sad, because I am a strong supporter of mom and pop places. We will never go back! read more

First time in & had a great experience. Restaurant was clean & tidy, plenty of seating. We sat at the bar, ordered a large pepperoni pizza, & 12 mango habanero wings. As someone who grew up knowing this place as "Eddy's" I was very surprised to see all of the updates that were made to this restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but no alcohol is served outdoors. The inside is very nice, and clean. There were plenty of updates with the seating, and bar area. My sister and I ordered take-out, everything was good. I had the white pizza on cauliflower crust, it was pretty flavorful and cooked very nicely. Cauliflower crust can be tricky to make crispy, but they pulled it off! read more

Food was absolutely delicious! The specialty hoagies came out toasty warm and full of toppings. We also ordered a salad and it was loaded with ingredients like beets and olives. Tons of steak on top too. The owner or manager came over to the table to say hello and check on us which is always a sign of a well-run business. Highly recommend this place read more

First time today at 11am. Wow! I had Buffalo chicken rolls (9) and my companion had Chicken bacon cheese rolls (9). Both came with homemade ranch and marinara sauces. Rolls and sauces were delicious! Perfectly cooked. We also had potato wedges. Huge portions that we finished at home for dinner. Our server was most pleasant and helpful with suggestions from their extensive menu. The owner stopped for an enjoyable conversation. We sat in the welcoming bar area. There was an adjoining handsome dining room (next time). Many thanks to the chef, waitress and owner. We'll be back soon. read more

The food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. Found the place on our way home from a trip. We tried the chicken tenders, wings and fried chicken. All excellent. Shout out to Allison, our server, who did a great job and co-owner Bob who checked on us and made us feel welcome. Restaurant nice and clean. read more

This is the second time my family was duped by this restaurant. Ordered wings & a sliced beef salad. The wings had that taste that they had been made earlier and then refrigerated. The Thai sauce we ordered was then tossed over the wings. TERRIBLE! The beef and fries in the salad tasted the same way, like it had been refrigerated and then added to the mediocre salad. The food was expensive and we couldn't eat it. Sticking with Potter's down the street. Reasonable prices and great HOT food. read more

Had a pretty mixed experience here. I came in with family at 1 in the afternoon, and playing on all the TV's was an adult cartoon with violence and obscenities. There's so many TV's in the place that you can't avert your eyes if you even try. As far as the food is concerned I have no complaints - the cheesy garlic bread and meatball hoagie were both very tasty. Dine-in guests are served paper plates with plastic utensils which is a little odd. I'd recommend this restaurant for takeout but not dine-in. read more

I was driving by and looking for a local place to eat and found Roosters Roost. I pulled in and sat in the bar area. The TVs were extra large and a great bar atmosphere. The menu has small print so bring your readers! ;) The waitress arrived quickly and took my order of grilled chicken salad and meatballs. The meal took a bit of time to arrive, so don't be in a hurry but there was enough distractions to keep me entertained. I liked that the meal arrived in to-go containers because I took the salad home with me. The meatballs were wonderful and I enjoyed the extra cheese. When I ate the salad the next day is was awesome!!! it was robust, crunchy, and filled with olives, red onion, peppers, french fries, and so much more! read more

They definitely have an extensive menu (pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches, etc), so there is something for everyone. Their salads are put together well with plenty of toppings and variety. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken salad and would eat it again. Take out is a better option since they have a small dining area with limited tables. It's a little pricey for bar type food, but so long as the quality of the food is good, it's worth it. The salt and vinegar fries are a family favorite and definitely worth ordering if you like that sort of thing! Oh, and try the firecracker shrimp tacos - you will not be disappointed! Warning - they use disposable everything - plates, silverware, etc. read more

Inconsistent food, probably because they try to offer too much. Also SUPER long waits at all times.

This place is really nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. One of the owners came out to greet us with a friendly smile and great conversation. The service was the worst I have ever had will never go back or order from there again

Food and service is very excellent. The only thing that we didn't like, when seated in the bar area it is way too dark. We had to use our flash lights on our phones to read the menu. They definitely need to rethink the lighting if they want people to return. read more

Tried this place for the first time and have to say it's outstanding. They make their own dough and the toppings are fresh. I had the carnivore calzone it was the best I ever had. Went back a few days later for a meatball sub. Again it was awesome. Be patient the food may take a few minutes longer but it worth the wait. The best place in town. The service is second to none. The waitress was friendly. The whole time that we were there, she was smiling and really seemed.to enjoy her job. She checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food was phenomenal. They have the best calories, Stromboli and wings I've ever eaten. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed. It would be a great place to grab a drink after a.long day of work. I highly recommend this place. read more

Great place to grab a bite to eat. They have a little bit for everybody. Would recommend for an inexpensive meal and great comfort food.

We went because of the great reviews. The service was good, atmosphere was okay, and the boneless wings were just gross.

Food was absolutely delicious. Our bill was pretty high due to some specialty drinks we were having. We paid our bill and wrote cash tip on the receipt. Then we left a $20 cash tip. After we left the waitress charged our card the bill plus a 20% tip on top of the $20 cash we left her. That's theft and shady. We will never eat there again and will definitely let others know not to eat there. read more
