Located downtown. The pizza was good. Thick crust. The only vegan option they have is the veggie pizza with olive oil glaze and no cheese. The marinara sauce has parmesan cheese in it. The wings were flavorful but they were too fatty. Needed to be deep fried. Service was a little slow but everything came out correctly. read more

Very picky about pizza because it's something i grew up making homemade with my dad. Pappo's has some of the best pizza in town. I actually crave it!!! FOOD Favorite is a spicy Hawaiian one, extra crispy! Recently ordered one with artichoke hearts, garlic, spinach, mushrooms, basil & sundries tomatoes - so delicious. Everyone at my party loved it! Their salads are really good & decently sized! DESSERT Definitely get their cookies. Oh my gosh! So delicious. DRINK They have a decent selection of beer and liquor. SERVICE This is where I dock a star - ordered online with a set pickup time & they weren't ready. So order with your pickup time earlier than needed as it takes a bit. read more

Some friends and I decided to try out Pappo's Pizzeria and we were better people for it. It did take a while to get drinks and food to our table, but I chalk it up to a busy night and it was graduation weekend. Yikes. Not the best time to be downtown. Anyway, we all ordered different personal pizzas so we could mooch off each other. Two of our favorites were from the specialty pizzas section: Chicken Bacon Cheddar and the "Spicy" Chicken Cholula. Man are these some great pizzas. Crust is great, not soggy, and the amount of toppings is just right. They don't skimp. I can't wait to go back and try a few others. Well done, Pappo's! read more

This is the best buffalo pizza ever to enter my face! I should have prefaced that buffalo sauce is my ultimate weakness. I could drink it with a straw. I don't throw around the words "best buffalo" around often. However, I might just have found my favorite. The pizza is good. The crust is hand tossed to perfection. They put cheese on it like we are in love. The hormone free chicken did not die in vein. Amazeballs. Oh my goodness dinner pizza is wonderful. We had a very pleasant waitress it was very accommodating and checked on us a lot. The pizzas are huge and the toppings are very generous. For me not being a person who likes a lot of crust, their crust is wonderful. I was told that they make their own deal and it shows. This pizza spot serves the best pizza I have ever had. If I visit Springfield again, I will be back! I could've eaten this pizza two days in a row ... and I'm not the biggest pizza fan. They have changed my views on pizza for sure! read more

I was one of the guests that Anastasia was talking about that left the $140 dollar tip. We felt sorry for the server who was waiting on her. She was rude and had a sense of entitlement. Her antics drew the attention of everyone sitting around her. Anastasia it's a pizza joint not a 5 star restaurant. read more

Visiting from out of town it was after 11pm. Tried get Steak and Shake only because they're open 24 hours. But they said they were closed. Looked online and found that this pizza place was open. We ordered online and door dash delivered on time as it stated. The food was great. The pulled pork pizza was excellent. The wings, KC BBQ style were good and meaty. My only complaint is we were staying in a hotel and they did not include any napkins or utensils with the order. We will look Pappo's up on our next visit to Springfield. read more

Just stopped in tonight for our pie to go. When I opened the box it looked great. But was sadly disappointed when I took that first bite. The vegetables were bland, and ultra soft. Not much in way of spice or seasoning in the sauce. And the crust was soggy, and had a bit of a fish aftertaste "blah".... Usually will try a place a couple times before a review, but this won't be the case here. read more

They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.

I've had the same waitress multiple times that "Anastasia J." had and she's fantastic. Looks like there was a full soda on the table when she's reporting not getting any drinks. Actually was privy to how awful this person was to this waitress, so bad that the table next to them left $140 tip to this poor girl! Taking a picture of her without her knowing and posting to a public site???? What a rude person! Anastasia obviously thinks it's okay to hide behind a computer and attack someone. A kind person would talk to a manager and not post the face of someone on social media without them knowing. Wonder if she's had this happen to her or a family member. I bet if she had she wouldn't do this to others and would find a better way to handle her temper. Content guidelines of Yelp clearly say, "Privacy: Don't publicize people's private information. To start off they forgot our menus and we had to go ask for them. Next, they didn't take our drink orders and just brought us all water and when my friend told the server we didn't get to order drinks she just said okay and didn't do anything about it. Then after waiting probably 30 mins they still haven't taken our order so we have to go ask people to take our order too. Then after probably 45 mins they bring out a pizza and it's wrong (it only had two toppings..) and burnt. Not to mention the bathrooms stink and have cobwebs. read more

Absolutely awful. I've been a repeating customer and have seen how the staff is treated. They posted some girl with her a** out on their new post while i heard some employee be reprimanded about a year ago for the same thing expect she was at least not showing extreme skin. I usually sit in the booths and hear every interaction between the employees and it seems like they have awful owners and managers. do better "pappos" or should i say "christopher's and his creep a** son warren." read more

I have been to Pappo's several times and I always have good service and great pizza, not matter how packed it is when I come in! They are more than polite and always seen relaxed. Because pizza places are a dime-a-dozen, I reserved a fifth star for my absolute favorites, but Rocco's is a place I'd order from if ever out this way again. Thanks!

I mean, why not? What a surprise. They make everything in house, including the dough! On that trip, we had meatballs, garlic knots, a pie with cheese and bacon and a Goodfella sandwich. We took a lot home but we like to sample everything. We were back a week later. mind you we live 60 miles from there so this is no easy task but well worth the trip. On the second visit, the owner was there and I swear, as good as the first visit was, the food on this visit was even better. I highly recommend the meatballs and the garlic knots, with or without cheese they're exceptional.The Bianca pizza. Their mozzarella is of the finest quality and you can taste it on the food.
