Great burger - wings needed more sauce and a little more time in the fryer. Service was great.

Huge burger, tons of fries, pretty expensive. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Next time I'll make two meals out of it. Service was attentive. read more

You can tell they source their beef from the steakhouse. Incredibly juicy and flavorful patty cooked perfectly to requested temperature. No need for heavy seasoning or toppings with the beef is this good. Onion rings are obviously not frozen. Excellent as well. Sat at the counter and got great service from Avery who was very friendly. Shake was good too. I'll be back whenever I'm in Houston. read more

We had a wonderful lunch at Pappas Burger. The waiter Marquis was lovely and knowledgeable about the menu. He was very nice and polite. Fresh food all the way around. We will definitely go back again. 10 stars for Marquis read more

This is clearly the place to be on a Friday night! Come early if you intend on having a weekend dinner because the parking lot fills up quickly, and the place gets packed. If you're going to dine at Pappas burgers, you must get a milkshake. The peanut butter and Oreo milkshakes were the stars of the show. The veggie burgers are of better quality here than most places. The patties are homemade, and they use almonds and cranberries. Pro tip: we switched out the mozzarella cheese with pepper jack cheese and added fresh jalapenos! Each burger comes with a side, and our waitress recommended we do half fries and half onion rings. The portions of the sides are also humongous, so plan to share or have leftovers. While we largely enjoyed our experience dining here, a big pain point was the temperature of the food. Our mozzarella bites and fried pickles/jalapenos were room temperature at best. Fried food should be served nice and hot! And beware of the salt content in the food - the fried pickles had too much, the fries and mozzarella bites had none. read more

Dropped in to Pappas burger for a weekday lunch. Wasn't crowded, and didn't have to deal with a line. Parking was easy and got a spot right in the front! We ordered at the counter right when we walked in, and were given our recipe to find a table. I ordered the Mushroom swiss burger (subbed my bun for romaine wrap) and sweet potato fries. For my starter I ordered the wings (bare) with sauce on the side. When we sat down, a waiter approached to confirm our order and ask us what we wanted to drink. I don't really understand the point of this kind of service.. but our waiter was polite so I went with it. Our food took way way way too long to come out. I had to go to the counter and ask how much longer it would be, as I had a meeting I was going to miss. They apologized for the wait and the food came out shortly after. The food itself was delicious.... the price for the food was NOT. I am not sure if I will be back to pay $25+ for a burger and fries. We were taken back by going to get burgers for lunch and ending up with a $70 meal (with tip). read more

Excellent service! Valentine, our server, was incredibly hospitable and attentive -- always on top of drink refills, condiments, and making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, with plenty of TVs for those of us who love catching the game while enjoying a meal together. Chase, one of the supervisors or managers, was also great and made us feel welcome. Overall, a wonderful experience. whether you're dining solo or bringing the whole family, I'd definitely recommend coming here. read more

This location has really went down hill- $20 a burger and lack of attention to detail and tons of extra charges with out mention of extra cost is bad business. - of the 4 burgers made- 3 were not prepared correctly - service slow - fries were way undercooked and soaked in greese... limp grease sticks - bacon cold like it was hours a head and half ass put on bun read more

My girlfriend and I visited Pappas Burger on the recommendation of a friend and was impressed with its convenient parking and easy accessibility. Inside there was a ton of signage to guided us through their ordering process for our first time. The menu at Pappas Burger is extensive, offering a diverse selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood/chicken, hot dogs, and shakes, ensuring that there is something for everyone. I ended up landing on a their "Bleu Cheeseburger" with sweet potato fries. The burger was massive but looked overcooked and dry. I typically prefer my burgers to be juicy and cooked to a medium-rare doneness, but unfortunately the server did not offer that option and instead went for a well-done preparation, which was disappointing. Aside from the burger being well-done it still retained a good amount of flavor and freshness. The $18 price tag was hard to look pass when you can get a just as good burger or better from other burger places around that area. Burger : 3 Store Experience : Good Staff : Very Good read more

Good: Portion Size and taste of food was great. I had the fish and shrimp. Super filling! Bad: The service. I was cool until my waiter brought out the food. When he sat the plate down, it knocked my shrimp onto the table.... I asked him could I get a replacement, he told me to eat it off the table. At the end of the day, it's something I'm paying for. read more

We came by for lunch and received excellent service. Got a salad, a burger, two kids' meals and an app... the meal was over $65! I know that prices have gone up, but oh my that is real steep. It was SUPER busy in the restaurant, but we were served quickly. Ambiance is family-friendly and sports bar-ish oriented! Our waitress was very kind and super sweet. Enjoyed the food, but will probably not return due to price alone. read more

They use to have a really good burger. I was surprised by the ordering process. First step order at cash register. Second step waitress reviews your order. Somehow between the two steps they messed up the order, so thanks for second step. The burger was ok and versus the price way better other places. Burgers are an art and many places around Houston treat them such. Just not Pappa's. read more

So this place used to be really awesome with their milk shakes and epic burgers. I think with the cost cutting, the portions have gotten a lot smaller; beef Patty used to be thicker and less fries - which if fine cause we don't need that much fries. However, when you used to order a milkshake, they would bring you the glass with your milkshake along with the metal can that had the rest of your shake in it. Now, they only give you the glass which is not that much to begin with. So you really are getting ripped off on the price of the milkshake. The cola float used to come out with the vanilla ice cream and the cola in the bottle. The cola was a Mexican cola with the real sugar. Now they just give you fountain cola for your floats.... Totally not the same; the taste was off and the presentation was blah. It used to be a real treat to come because of the big milkshakes and the cola floats... but with those changes in place... this joint is just another ho-hum hamburger place not worth the price. You get more for your money at Whataburger. Good ole days of this place are gone... it's not worth the drive into town for the price to get the same thing that I can get from the Whataburger in my subdivision. They have lost the wow factor in their food. Really disappointed read more

I love their burgers! Hands down they are the best. Hand cut fries meat was perfectly cooked fries. Definitely worth eating here.

Came here for lunch with the family today. Overall a solid burger and I say that knowing that I ordered wrong. First off, the company is taking COVID serious with all the necessary precautions taken: Socially distant tables, hand sanitizer, masks required, staff with gloves and a slightly abbreviated menu. Good job! We started with the fried pickles appetizer that comes with some fried jalapenos for a little extra something something. Next came the burgers. We all ordered the same to keep it simple and that included the patty as medium rare. I knew I should have gone medium, but didn't. My fault. FYI, the company says they will serve the patty medium well unless asked for a different temp. The burger was HUGE! Two of us could have shared one. The thing was massive, messy and good. Finally, our server asked if we had been to the restaurant before and since it was my wife's first time, she got a free shake! How do you beat that? Give this small chain and Pappas restaurant family member a try. read more

You get a lot of food for the price. Love their wings and burgers. I visit this place often

The burger was HUGE!!! It comes with fries so be warned... I definitely would've skipped the appetizer given the size of the entree lol The meat was tender. The burgers here are great. French fries are great. hot dogs are great. Shakes are great. Liquor is (always) great. Service is fast. Prices are a bit high but not unbelievable. The entire family was happy. That's saying something with 4 picky kids, a rare meat loving wife and a keto/ low carb dieter in me. My kids have it an "11" on a scale of 1-10. That's high praise! read more

My family loves Pappas bros steakhouse but I was not impressed by Pappas Burgers. I got the blue burger and fries, 5 wings, and fried pickles. Everything was just eh. The wings weren't cooked enough for my liking and barely sauced. The fried pickles were too much breading and not much flavor. The burger was GIGANTIC but all these toppings and no flavor. The best was the fries because they were just basic ass fries. It's also pretty expensive for not enough flavor read more

Don't really get the hype behind this burger place. The burgers were huge, some of the biggest I've seen, came with fries too. However the patty itself was pretty bland and not very juicy. Even with the toppings, the burger was lacking flavor. Ended up paying $23 for the meal and taking half of it home. read more

First time coming and I had great service from multiple waiters. Andrew A was very quick with refills and helping us with it being our first time. My boyfriend and I came to eat (it's a Saturday night ).... surprisingly there was no wait... awesome sauce!! , because I'm actuually starving as I haven't eaten all day and we both had a long day at work.. we order with the cashier and were told to pick a table. Oh yea, the food is pretty bomb too... :) initially we we came back because the wings were fire ... Now? We will be back because of the food but K'lynns AMAZING SERVICE! Diner + sports type vibe is right on- go order at the counter, get your drink, find your own seat and then a waiter comes by the re-read the order and make any changes. Glad she made a suggestion to do 1/2 regular fries and 1/2 sweet with honey mustard for dipping. The sweet potato fries were better than the regular. -Burger - hickory cheddar with sub to grilled onions- I had a bite- it had no flavor- thought I didn't bite down far enough. However, my resident burger expert who ordered it thought it was super bland. The shredded lettuce- dilutes the flavor because there is so much of it so he had to remove most of it. Why not do whole lettuce pieces so that you at least maintain the crunch? 2/5 - chili cheese dog- good flavor- just hard to eat. Be prepared to eat it with a knife and fork.3/5 This was a hard review as I've loved the Pappas chains. If you are going to have burger in the name, it needs to be fantastic. Pretty expensive - 48.38 with a 20% tip for not so great. read more

Fresh, flavorful burgers, crispy fries, and stellar service from Marquis--Pappas Burgers delivers!

Ordered through DD. For a $30 burger, I would expect them to include ketchup! It's not too much to ask.

Great service! Marquis provided the top notch attention! The Burgers are top notch! Definitely added to the short list! Thank you!

Order the food to go. I ordered the fried catfish and it was good. They were huge!!! My hubby got a burger and didn't like it at all. I forgot which one he ordered. We would definitely give it another try though. read more

At first when I saw the prices I thought $16 for a burger seemed a little expensive, but the burger was the size of my head and the quality was amazing!!! The service here is also amazing! Our waiter, Uziel, came to our table and reviewed our order to verify everything was correct before going back to the kitchen. Even though the restaurant was packed he remembered our dessert and brought them out to us once we were finished eating. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The mozzarella bites were filled with warm gooey cheese and the marinara was definitely homemade. The French fries were made from real potatoes and the servings are HUGE. The desserts come with a small serving of vanilla icing in a bowl which was a nice surprise. Paying a little extra is worth it for the excellent service and quality of food you receive. read more

This place does a wonderful delivery order. The order was a hamburger, fries and coleslaw. Burger was great, perfectly done hamburger patty, toppings fresh and amazing flavor all around.
