Everything was really good except I have one criticism. The onion rings had a good flavor however they were too skinny, making it hard to eat and they were a little bit greasy also due to that. They would be so much better if you would just make them a little bit bigger and thicker. read more

Such a confusing place to me. It's a self order, self seating, server having, burger restaurant. Ordered two burger combos with a soda. Was given the receipt and told I would check out with my server. Found a table and sat down. Server came and checked the receipt and reviewed our order. Another person brought our burgers, but with cheese. Walked off so fast I couldn't tell him about no cheese. Finally got our server's attention to tell him no cheese. He took the burgers back and later came back with the correct order. So when we received our receipt, they had charged us for all burgers. Had to remind him to take off the remade burgers. He said that's how he had to let the kitchen know to make a new order, but he forgot to remove. No biggie to fix for him. The bill was about $50. I'm not too impressed with this burger restaurant. Nothing too special about the meat's taste or atmosphere. I don't see myself returning, but I am glad to have experienced the location because I pass by frequently. read more

Dear Management, I wanted to address a situation at your facility that occurred when a group of us arrived to eat at your restaurant. The process by which your servers and tables are done to order the food really seems so time consuming and wasteful. Why should we A stand in line to order, only to sit down and restart the process over. I found it to be such a painful process.... Then we had multiple groups split up in the restaurant, so your waitstaff is frustrated and would make faces because the orders were on diff tickets at diff tables. Well that's cuz your ordering system is flawed, we clearly told them that we were on different tickets. What was the issue all of a sudden. Why did they not mention it then. Your system it's time consuming and really painful to your servers who made it very apparent that this is an issue to us as customers.....after the fact of all of the above. Why didn't they tell us this when we walked up to the counter. Why didn't yall tell us when we sat down. No, your upset waitstaff .... The burger was very large and a good deal if you are hungry! The french fries came out extremely fresh, hot and crispy, however, they were just a tad salty. The place had traditional style papas restaurant seating and offered margaritas as well. The location was great right off the busy road and easy parking access. This was my first visit to Pappas Burger. When we walked in you see the menus on the wall. Then you place your order at the register and then get seated. After your meal you'll pay. There were plenty of seats filled with folks and plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered their fried catfish sandwich with sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was an average kids mac. The fish sandwich was pretty good. I like my sweet potato fries with a glaze or powder sugar or atleast fried crispy. So when they are plain they're just ok to me. I don't have to have them or the mac again. But I will try a burger and maybe a shake. read more

I being a Papas Burger fan and customer for over 9 years. I always appreciated their good portions, combined with great taste. However things keep going down after Covid. This last Monday I was ready to give up with this restaurant base on the parking lot issues, smaller portions for same prices ( still good flavor ) and a weird treatment from shift manager ( green shirt ) seems in a hurry to get us out. I can't even tell you. It's the best burger I've had like in years except for mine and the french fries which I don't need to eat were absolutely crispy and delicious and my Diet Coke was tangy and yummy too. My friend and I have met at this particular Pappas Burgers for 3 separate occasions. We'd had never been to one before. The restaurant has always been clean, organized, workers staying busy to get you in and out but not feeling so 'rushed' while doing that. The food was excellent as no surprise, heh it's a Pappas restaurant! But I wanted to give a shout out to one of the servers. The server's name is Caitlyn and this was the second time that she was our server. The other time was good, but twice Caitlyn has been our server and she's always been very nice and helpful. From making sure all of our 'on-the-side condiments were indeed on the side (even the cheese for goodness sakes as I can't have cheese and my husband can), splitting our bill so we could each pay our own way, offering us to-go drinks at the end of our visit, asking us how our food was tasting, just all of it. We even had 2 separate to-go orders and she timed those just perfectly so that they weren't sitting getting cold. I'm not shocked by this service, because Pappas always hires the best servers, but I know not all servers are recognized so I wanted to do my part. Thanks again for "bringing it" as I have come to expect from all Pappas restaurants. My boys and I ate here and we got some fried pickles, buffalo bites with Asian sauce and their homemade blue cheese (which is to die for) and some mozzarella bites. So yummy. Busy as always. Our server was nice and attentive. Burgers were nice & juicy and fries were delish. Them onion rings are OMGEEEEE good! Spicy and perfect with ranch. Will most definitely be going back for those. I would have given it 5 stars, however I feel that management failed every single patron and employee while we were there. How and why? The why is because of a couple of what came across as self entitled customers. The first set was two adults and I believe 6 children, ranging from ages 4-12. If you have ever been to Pappa's, there's a huge sign in parking lot that says 'Entrance Only' and the exist out of the parking lot is on the other side of the building. It is not a very wide driveway. And it sports it's own 'Exit Only' sign. What do this peeps do? They park on the car exit driveway. Most cars were able to exit, however, as we were leaving ourselves, there was a Hummer(wide vehicle) trying to figure out how to leave because the big SUV was blocking the exit driveway. The manager did peaked out the door before we left and did nothing about it when he should have done something about it. The second set of customers sat at the other larger table as they were a party of 6(4 adults and 2 children). The smaller child was in a big stroller and a high chair was brought to them before their food came out. Instead of leaving the stroller where it was, where there was plenty of room, behind the high chair, the young mother moved the stroller in to the other side of the table in front of the door, one of the two doors that serve as exits. Once again management did nothing about it. If a fire Marshall would have come In, they would have most likely observed that having a stroller in front of one of the only two exits available posed a fire hazard for evacuation in case of an emergency inside the restaurant. Really not sure what these people were thinking. read more
