We appreciated being allowed to play a complimentary game of pool. Unfortunately, the experience changed dramatically after the bartending shift change. From that point on, we felt unwelcome and believed staff chose to side with a small group of patrons during a disagreement rather than taking the time to understand the situation. Ultimately, we were asked to leave, which came as a complete surprise and left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. What makes this especially frustrating is that we had spent a significant amount of money at the establishment and had been enjoying ourselves without issue for most of the evening. the way the situation was handled left us feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. They don't open every night, just Thu Fri Sat - which is why they still love it - their words but my wholehearted agreement. It's not inexpensive but when someone has clearly mastered their crafts like these two, I am onboard every time. After couple glasses of a natural orange wine (bottles are pricey) the bill was $170. We are so happy they're open in winter and filled up on a Saturday so reservations a must. Loved all the dishes despite being slightly over salted. Menu changes frequently and can't wait to return.
